OOC Character Fun: World Cup 2007

While I know lots of people here aren't ardent soccer supporters, I am. So I'm going to bother EVERYBODY about it.

The Women's World Cup is coming up later this summer, and I thought that Feng Shui (having nothing to do until the next season starts) could have a little fun.

I propose that teams of 6 characters (1 goalkeeper) (plus 3 subs) from each nation be made, and that these teams 'play' in a World Cup within Feng Shui. Each user can only enter one character into the competition, and must list their position (keeper, defender, midfielder, forward) with them. I don't expect this to be soccer based, just fun based. It'll be a round robin competition, each team playing the others once. Wins are 3 points, ties are 1, losses are 0.

Air nomads can be people with no connection to a nation, or people who are between them, or not under a nation's direct jurisdiction. Like... Taka could play for the Air Nomads, because he's in Fire Nation occupied territory, but he's rebelling against them.

My one character DOES happen to be Taka. He'll be playing for the Air Nomads at Right Fullback (defense).

Do we have enough people to make four six man teams with only one character per person? Maybe we should see how many entrants we have first before breaking them up. Regardless, I'm totally entering Muqali as a midfielder (Air Nomads if we can put together four teams, Earth Kingdom if we end up only having enough for three).

That was an idea only, Muqali. I think we have PLENTY of people for 6 man teams. That's only 24 users. We have WAY more than that. The subs were only if they couldn't make it, and depending on how the signups go, I might just make those other characters from 1 user (if necessary).
