Manju always thought Muqali's responses were classic, and the nearby Tali amused her almost as much. Spears were returned to her traveling sack soon, after which she stated the solution to her enigmatic question in a rude and sardonic tone. "Nooo, not de restaurant..."
Putting her hands on her hips, she glaned at Muqali and tilted her hip to the side. Shaking her head gently, she assumed such an attitude to make it seem as though she expected the Si Wong native to know exactly what she was talking about. She didn't, but the mental torture was half the fun. As her amber eyes flitted between the sand nomad and Tali, she wore a smirk. "Jour wedding, of course!"
With a few cackles, she took two or three steps away from the small group. She knew Muqali and Nasrin wouldn't lash out at her, but she was unsure of the latest addition to the clan. Anticipating something to happen, Manju was prepared mentally for most moves the other girl may have made. Of course, it would be entertaining to spar with Tali now and then, unlike her more mature party members who only wanted to stay on track while traveling. Either that, or drink themselves into an incoherent stupor...
After making no attempt to smooth over her insane allegation, the Igni woman spoke up to Tali, pointing her hand in some random direction. "Lead the way!"

Tali rolled her eyes and smiled at the woman, her? getting married? that seemed rather un-likely for some reason, she wasn't they type to fall in love like that, but she imagined that some girl trompsing over and talking to the boy would seem like she'd have a crush on him.
Something like that at least. Blushing lightly she looked to the man at her side her interest piquing a bit. Could she fall in love with him? The more she thought about it the more embarrassing it seemed. He was attractive, her over ecstatic mind found more and more reasons to like him. Shaking her head furiously she wiped the idea once more from her mind. She was going on a training mission soon! there was no time for love.
Striding ahead Tali attempted to clear her mind, at least she was some what accepted into the group, it meant they might divulge some of their secrets to her, like where thy were from, the things they had been doing. These details were important! There was nothing she loved more than tales of the world. The one she soon would be transversing to see the air nomad temples, god forbid she find some airbenders, she may never come home again. " It's this way."
Tilting her head back she smiled at three travelers in amusement, they were such an odd group, she loved it! what things had they seen in their travels. " Our introduction before was a little hectic, My name is Talia Shiofeun, my family runs an earth bending dojo. I've lived here in Gaoling my entire life."

Muqali’s eyebrows once again raised, and his mouth twisted into an even more perplexed expression. He blinked a few times at Manju, and then glanced at Tali as she silently walked to the front of the group. He chuckled a little and shook his head. Manju was just being her usual self, trying to get a rise out of him. This one was obvious enough that even he could catch on to it. Sure, Tali was easy on the eyes and seemed like a nice person, but saying they were going to get married was more than a little ridiculous. After all, they’d just barely met.
“Manju, you’re a strange person.”
Before the Igni could give a response, Tali had begun speaking, deciding to go about introductions. At this point, they’d all picked up each other’s names somehow, so Muqali was a little confused about why they needed to. Since Tali, or Talia rather, had done it, he figured it would probably be the right thing to do to comply. He couldn’t help but chuckle a bit when she said her family ran an Earth Bending dojo. That explained why she might find a bar fight exciting.
“I hadn’t left home until recently, either. ’Course, the Si Wong Desert is a little different,” Muqali replied, and then pointed his thumb towards his chest. “Anyway, I’m Muqali of the Kiyad Tribe.”

Introductions? Nasrin couldn't remember formally introducing herself, though she had managed to catch the other girl's name in the bar. It seemed a strange thing to bring up now, but eventually she'd have to share her name.
After waiting for the kids to stop fooling around, she took advantage of the break in conversation to raise up her hand holding the bottle of alcohol in order to catch the new girl's attention. "Nasrin," she said simply, adding a slight thumbing gesture at herself. "I've probably got more miles on my feet than the rest of you combined... And right now I need some food." The sandbender swished around her bottle for a moment, peeked into the opening to check the level remaining, and then took a quick swig.
All around them, people largely seemed to be moving on with their daily routines now that the violence had ground to a halt. Aside from the owner of the bar having a fit over the damages to his building, most people were quietly dispersing.

Manju knew she was a strange person, but being told such a thing only made her grin odiously. Tali, clearly ignoring the Igni, pointed out the direction in which the restaurant was located, and Manju started walking that way. Though, as the rest of the group stood behind her, she overhead Tali and the others beginning to exchange introductions. She could have sworn the girl stated her name before, but she was equally surprised to see Muqali and Nasrin complying. Shrugging her man-like shoulders, she decided to make things interesting.
Pivoting on one foot, she swiftly wound up facing the trio. Poking her own thumb at the center of her chest, she made her introduction. Barely did she interrupt Nasrin's ending words with her own false enthusiasm. "And I'm Manju, de wonder boy!"
At that, she did an exaggerated one-two punch toward the Earth Kingdom girl and the two Si Wong nomads. She was far enough away not to hit any of them unless they purposely moved forward. Even Manju knew they wouldn't be stupid enough to do that sort of thing.
After that, she did a single backflip that ended with a front split several feet away. Raising her hands in the air ostentatiously, she quickly rose to her feet in a fluid motion. She next bowed to Tali, but did little to restrain the air of sarcasm that lingered about her. And predictably, she finished with a statement that made almost no sense. "The pleasure is mine."
Then, pretending like nothing out of the ordinary had happened, she turned and walked toward the restaurant.

With a smile she watched Muqali go about his simple explanation, so he was from the desert, it told her a little bit, honestly she wondered what his style was like. She'd never gotten to watch people from the Si Wong fight, without a doubt they'd have their own established style. It would be fascinating to see, and a treat to learn. The drunkard also known as Nasarin was the same, she seemed nice enough. Without a doubt she'd want to talk to her for a while when the chance came up. Then there was the last member of the group, the rowdy one, Nasarin had barely finished her introduction when the loud short woman stated she was a boy.
Talia paused and watched the girl go about her routine, her eyes followed the various punches leading her to watch the first barely come close to hitting her before she sprang off again for more theatrics. Without a doubt this person had some issues upstairs. This was something she'd keep in mind for later. Though she couldn't help herself. A bright smile came to her face and she bowed to the three of them as the girl bit back some laughter. " Well it's nice to meet all of you"
A short walk later she made it to the restaurant pushing the cloth partial doorway aside to greet the occupants with a warm smile. She secured a table near the window sitting down swiftly, honestly this was one of her favorite places to eat. They were good, portions were huge and the cost was low. There was no place in town where you could get such amazing sea food. Shrimp gyoza floated through her mind, but first she wanted to weasel as much from the group as she could on where they went and the things they'd seen since he chance was cut short before. "So where are you all headed?"

Manju was certainly odd, but at this point, Muqali was seriously starting to question her sanity. Still, he couldn’t help but chuckle. Perhaps she wasn’t insane, but more like a hyperactive little kid. He supposed it was kind of funny how Nasrin was the exact opposite, mellow to the point of near apathy it seemed. Speaking of her, he found it odd how she hadn’t mentioned what tribe she was from. Normally, the tribe a Si Wong native was from functioned almost like a surname, at least in his experience. Then again, she didn’t seem too attached to anything, and maybe her tribe wasn’t an exception to that rule.
Muqali didn’t dwell on this for long, for as soon as he entered the restaurant, he was distracted with all the food. Not just food, but seafood. As in food that came from the sea. Now, he’d tried fish before, but they were from a lake or river or something, “freshwater” as Yunchang had described them. He’d never even seen the ocean, much less eaten something from it. He was grinning as he looked around at all the different dishes. This was going to be great! Taking a seat, he propped his feet on the table as per usual, and leaned back in his chair, despite proper etiquette calling for more formal behavior in an actual restaurant. Before he could take a peek at the menu, though, Tali spoke up with a question.
"So where are you all headed?"
Scratching the stubble on his chin, he tipped back his head in thought. Come to think of it, that was a very good question. He did have to go back to the desert at some point, but was he ready to head there yet? There was still so much to see, so much to do. Okay, not that much to actually do, but a whole lot to see. Still, he decided to answer Tali’s question as best as he could.
“Actually, we don’t really know right now,” he said. “We were pretty much just heading away from Omashu before because of the Fire Nation, but now that we’re gone, I’m not sure where we’re going to go…”

Nasrin followed the group from behind as they made their way toward Tali's suggested restaurant. The sandbender had quite a drunken swagger in her step, and though she did stumble once or twice she otherwise carried it well. Still, she would be glad for the chance to sit down and eat. Her craving for alcohol had been more than sated for the time being. It was time to take things slow and just relax. They been walking constantly for weeks now. This was time to just sit back and enjoy some civilized luxuries.
Once the four of them arrived at the restaurant, Nasrin wasted little time in sifting through a menu that was presented to them by a server. The first thing that caught her eye was something called 'orange chicken.' She'd never heard of it before, and Nasrin wasn't entirely sure she wanted her poultry to be unnatural colors. But then again, if it was purely asthetic, she decided she might as well make it something special.
"I'll have this," she said to the server, pointed to the item on the menu. The young man who had given them their menus squinted for a moment as he read what she was pointing to and then nodded his understanding. "But instead of orange, ask the cook to make it purple... I l;ike that color better." Nasrin smiled at the boy, but he seemed more confused than anything.
"Sure," the young man said, eventually managing a slight laugh at what he figured must have been a joke. "Are the rest of you ready as well?" he asked to the other members of the group.

Before anyone else could chime in, Manju was the first after Nasrin to speak out. Not even bothering to open her menu and look at it, she hastily stated her order. "I'll have de fried pork dumplings. And make 'em spicy!"
Then, feeling a bit of mischief was in order, she turned and pointed directly at Tali. "And dey'll have de same thing," she said as she poiting her finger over to Muqali. "'Cause dey're in love!" Clasping her hands, she blinked rapidly, then abruptly put her hands behind her head. Without any laughter following, she hoisted her bare feet onto the table immediately after. Using her toe to push her menu, the Igni managed to make it slide all the way across the table and flutter off the edge. As it drifted straight to the ground, Manju saw the waiter give her a nasty look, but she did nothing but grin casually at the man.

Tali looked at the small woman with a confused and slightly disheartened expression, why did she keep trying to force this? Tali'd never really been all that interested in men or boys, most of the time they picked on her, called her flat chested and ugly, honestly she could do without them all together... The Gaoling native did her best to act calm and disregard the crude woman shaking her head lightly. She knew the waiter well enough, he wouldn't assume something that stupid, Sighing softly she muttered more to herself that that was complete garbage.
Turning a smile to the waiter she handed him the menu noting that he was of the same mindset Tali was. Before she could even blurt out her order he grinned and nodded. " Orange blossom tea and shrimp gyoza, extra dipping sauce." With a small blush she nodded to him causing his smile to turn a bit brighter for reasons unknown to her. Was it that amusing that she was predictable?

Muqali didn’t even look up from his menu at Manju’s comment. Really, it was unlike her to be so uncreative. That was the same kind of taunt three times in a row, not to mention it was wholly ridiculous. Yup, the Igni was losing her mind.
“Getting old, Manju,” he said flatly from behind his menu.
“Sir, your order?” asked the waiter when he was done taking everyone else’s orders.
Muqali nodded, held the menu up to the waiter and pointed at an item, “What’s a shrimp, exactly?”
“Uh, well,” the waiter began, not quite sure how to react. “It’s a small shellfish…kind of chewy and…uh…”
Before the man could continue, Muqali interrupted, “How about this one?”
“The sea bass? Well, it’s a fish…”
The waiter went on to explain six other items for Muqali as the Sand nomad pointed to them, though he was interrupted before he could finish every explanation. Irritation was beginning to show itself on the waiter’s features, though Muqali was completely oblivious. He was far more interested in figuring out what all these different sea creatures were and what they taster like. Finally, the waiter lost his patience.
“Sir, are you going to order any of these things?”
“Oh no, I was just curious,” Muqali said with a grin. “I’ll have…the…uh…crab legs. Those sound good.”
The man impatiently snatched away Muqali’s menu and left to place they’re orders. Still oblivious to his rudeness, Muqali leaned back in his chair, his feet still resting on the table.
“Tali has a point, you know,” he said, addressing Manju and Nasrin. “We really should figure out where we’re going. I mean, I’ve got to go back to the desert eventually, but I don’t if I want to yet.”

Reclining heavily in her seat, Nasrin allowed a great yawn to escape her while Muqali asked for a detailed description of nearly every item on the menu. Almost without thinking of it, her hand scooped up the bottle of Soulstorm on the table and started lfting it toward her lips. The sandbender almost took a sip efore she even realized what her hand was doing, but she manged to put the bottle down. Despite the fog clouding her mind, she was not as far gone as the others might have thought. And she knew when to stop.
Once her fellow Si Wong native had made his choice of lunch, his mention of their heading made Nasrin remember that she would have some explaining to do when she got back... Assuming that caravan she was supposed to defend even made it back alive.
"Pfft... This is my vacation," she said. The sandbender scratched the tip of her nose for a moment. "I vote to stay out of the desert as long as possible."

Manju stayed in her position, feet set rudely on the table while her hands rested behind her head. It amused her slightly how Muqali was asking so many questions, but she couldn't help but wonder if he was doing it partly for laughs. Then, his statement that followed made her quirk an eyebrow. Manju certainly knew they had nowhere specific to go, but his notion to return to the desert struck her as odd. Nasrin soon rose her statement, which was in accord with the Igni's opinion, and Manju spoke up afterward. "Why jou wanna play in de sand anyway?"
She had an idea of what the desert was like, and the concept didn't spark with her. No trees like her homeland, and nothing but sun-baked sand dunes as far as the eye could see. She wondered how a soul could stand living in that sort of environment, much less how they could find food and water.
But since a return to the desert was not the priority, she turned to Tali. She figured since the girl was coming with them anyway, that she would get her input. Manju was up for anything, as long as it wasn't that dreaded Si Wong place she'd heard about. "Well, where jou wanna go? Jou are coming wit' us, right?"

Tali looked up at the three of them with a touch of confusion, were they asking her where to go? One by one she looked at the occupants of the table with mild surprise, she had a definite destination in mind, granted company might make the trek more enjoyable but she wasn't sure they'd want to join her, not when she mentioned where she was going.
Her response was delayed thanks the waiter bringing their food by. Tali smiled at him warmly as he set down her order even though she noticed it had more on the plate then it should. maybe the kitchen mis counted... Her brown eyes blinked up at him curiously before he left. " Jon-jon...? there are 10 gyoza.... usually there are seven...."
The waiter abruptly turned red setting down the other plates of food for Tali's three companions. " Yeah I know..." He left it at that before retreating to the next table he was waiting on leaving a perplexed Tali. Shrugging slightly she picked up her chop sticks and dipped one in sauce before taking a bite and swallowing the failure warm food. "Well I want to go north..... towards the air temple...." She took a sip of her tea and blinked in confusion. It wasn't hot, she disliked hot drinks but still it surprised her, usually they served it boiling.

Muqali was looking around the restaurant when Manju asked Tali for her opinion. He turned towards the Igni woman with a puzzled expression on his face, his eyebrow raised and mouth open as though he was about to ask what the hell she was talking about. They’d just randomly met this girl and all of a sudden they were going to travel together? That was pretty odd. Then again, so was Manju. Before he could respond verbally, however, the food came, and Muqali was instantly distracted.
The waiter had said crab legs would have a shell, but he hadn’t known exactly what that meant. What sat before him looked almost like giant insect legs. With aprehention, Muqali picked one up, and tried to crack it open with his hands. It didn’t budge. Grimacing, he tried to snap it in two. Despite turning it over and going at it from several different angles, all he managed to do was hurt his hands. Getting a little frustrated, Muqali started to smack the leg on the edge of the table, but this only produced a few small cracks. Finally, he’d had enough. He set the crab leg down on the table and stared it down for a moment. Then, in one sudden motion, he drew his right tonfa and slammed it down on the crab leg. It wasn’t exactly clean, but the shell at least opened this time. Albeit, the meat was smashed a bit, too, but Muqali didn’t mind. Several people turned around at the racket, staring, but he paid them no heed, munching happily and his hard earned meal.
“Mmm, this is great,” he muttered, then finally returned back to the conversation at hand. “Air temples, huh? Aren’t those supposed to be, like, impossible to reach or something? I met some guy in the Oasis that said he had climbed one, but he also said he had wrestled a mammoth camel and won…”
