Apparently to the city, Sekar had won. Kids cheered as he crawled off the statue, and a few men walked up to him and congratulated the doctor. “Good job man!” One said another one recognized him. “Excellent Dr. Praaghi! I will tell my wife about you.” Sekar cracked a smile. A feeling of pride ballooned up in the Raven Healer, he was happy. Happy and proud. But what really got him off his toes was Jericho.
She didn’t look disappointed at all, infact, the joy on her face was very much apparent. More so with her actions, and as the men were telling the doctor about his accomplishments. Jericho took advantage of this and swooped her arms around him and kissed the doctor on the lips.
Sekar went crimson, the kiss wasn’t expected at all, but never the less he took it and returned it happily. Have not kissed a girl in quite some time, Sekar, was astounded that Jericho held her promise, low self esteem always killed his ego, and drilled into his head that he was unattractive. However Jericho thought differently. What also fasinated him was Jericho was teenager, and not middle aged adult like himself. So it was thrill for Sekar to even recived a kiss, let alone from a beautiful young lady.
“Th-thank you Jericho, for the kiss..here is your kite.” Sekar said feeling embarrassed, he had to look away. Lest Jericho would notice his blush.

Without realizing it Jericho melted into the kiss. Even amongst the whispers amongst the women in the crowd. For a moment the world disappeared and there was only her and Doctor Sekar Praaghi. As Sekar pulled away the young woman couldn't help but feel a pang within her. If they were public she would initiate another kiss, but under the prying eyes of other nobles she decided it would be best to wait- if their paths were to cross again they would, if they didn't then the spirits obviously had no plans for them.
"No need for thanks." Jericho said airily, like the smoke off an incense. "I kept my word, that's all. I promised a kiss if my family's kite won, and a kiss I gave." She held the kite in her hands, running her fingers over the light material that had flown so gracefully to victory.
While Sekar's head was turned Jericho took a quick moment to survey the crowd. She could not only hear, but see the hushed whispers from woman to woman, and the grins and nudges men gave each other. Odds are a new rumor about the two will be spread throughout Lun Yang by morning. The young woman shrugged it off. Her name had already spread within the inner circle as 'The Xanin Spit Fire', she'd be able to handle another rumor, especially with this victory beneath her belt.
"Doctor Praaghi," Jericho continued, now going for shock value. The smirk on her lips played in her voice. "Would you like to come to the Xanin estate for tea? It's the least I can do after you flew my family's Kite." Which was true. It was common courtesy, really. If they happen to have a moment to chat on their own, then that was what to be. Jericho's smirk deepened.
(Jericho has lead Sekar out of the thread)

With everyone starting at them Sekar could help but feeling uneasy around them. Breaking the kiss, Sekar cheeks still had the tinge of blush to them.
With Jericho’s reply of no need for thanks, Sekar couldn’t help smile. This was kind of her, to kiss this ragged bird of a man. But still Sekar felt awkward.
With the crowd looking around them Sekar started walking with Jericho. He heard her offer of tea at her place. It was very tempting to drink with Jericho, but he didn’t know if her mother would except a man like him. Still Sekar couldn’t’ refuse an offer. “Of course I would like to have tea.” It was the least he could do right? Jericho didn’t owe him anything, and she offered to have tea. It felt strange for Sekar. That old nagging feeling of uselessness, hit him as he walked to the estate with Jericho.
What was he to Jericho?

The room Teiú had just entered had a low table in the centre, this filled with some plates of food. Xin was sit at the head of the table, taking a cup of tea apparently. Some servants were standing near the entrances and near her. In fact, despite all those people in the room, the girl seemed to be quite alone, they all seemed to be distant of her reality.
“Oh, the bath, it was awesome, thanks. And don’t worry about the clothes. I’m indeed surprised you had a model alike the one I was wearing.” And after that Teiú advanced to the table. At his lack of “loyalty conducts” Teiú took a sit very near Xin. The servants looked like disturbed by this and it was at that very moment that Teiú noticed the small white creature at Xin’s lap. The creature, as well, felt disturbed and performed an aggressive sound towards the deserter, something very alike a snarling. At the happenings Teiú moved aside a bit bearing a confused expression. At the moment a servant came from the main entrance holding a big plate. Another manservant delivered to Teiú a platter containing some food.
Even hungry as he never felt before, Teiú took the two sticks at his side slowly and began to get the food from the dish. Then, before getting some of the food, he glanced at Xin. “Such a big house and she is all that alone here. Her only friend seems to be her pet.” He thought. Perceiving that Teiú was watching Xin the butler from before said, with a dry voice: “The main dish is being served”. Teiú felt angry for an instant, at that moment he wished to kick the man, but it was something he really wouldn’t do. “So, ann… milady, is your head… I mean… are you feeling better?” Teiú asked, with a tone of interest in the voice and looking to the other side of the room.

Xin hardly paid the maids and bulters any mind, she'd been around them so much that they just blended into the background, they were supposed to. Hushing Xue she tenderly stroked the small white animals fur attempting to calm it, he was never too fond of strangers, though it was a bit unnerving to sit to close to the man, but he was a guest, she wouldn't complain. It wasn't his fault he didn't grow up with his parents pounding upper class ettique into his head. She looked over at him offering a touch of a smile.
" A little" She admitted taking another sip of the medicianal tea, she'd had a pastry or two in his absence, even so she was in no rush to eat. The plates of fish and beef did seem apitizsing as usual, her cooks weren't to the level of the firelords, all the same they knew the families tastes. Xin felt a little odd, in her household even her parents had sat on differant ends of the table, then again they didn't share anything the girl would consider affection. She doubted they ever did, it upset her a little, she should have fonder memories of her family, here she was, mourning them as if they were dead, not just in the Earth Kingdom. Her life could be so much worse and yet she lingered in the past, not willing to move forward, it wasn't as if she had anywhere to move to.
Her brown eyes breifly fluttered up the other occupants of the room, the only reason she noticed was Teiu's silent exchange with her butler. " We're alright, I'll call if I need you, thank you" The lady bowed her head signaling the group to leave, it took a while but they all filtered out, the man was last, giving the boy a stern look he closed the doors behind him.
Xue on the other hand was perfectly content glarring at Teiu and munching on his cracker. Beady black eyes narrowed at the bow and his cat-like nose twitched lightly.

Teiú felt a bit surprised when Xin ordered the servants to leave the room. He sure wasn’t sharing her spiteful servant’s suspicion. When the meal ended and Teiú gave himself up to the Che’Shi chef’s abilities the feeling that came across the deserter’s body was of total comfort. He only needed some rest to get really fully healed from his condition. The room’s window, however, revealed that day was ending and the night was approaching. Teiú should reach the address noted at his small piece of paper before the darkness should fall over the city. In the night his chances going unattended by the soldiers were higher he might find no one at the house he was looking for. He looked to his hostess. “Please milady, I sure wouldn’t like to seem discourteous but… Well, it is getting dark and I need to visit a… friend… near here. I fully appreciate your kindness towards me till here. Can I ask you one more selfish favor? Can I leave some of my baggage here till I come back?”… A few moments later Teiú left the Che’Shi manor wearing his old cloak and carrying his sword, dagger and the map leading to the house he should go to. Xin blinked in mild surprise, he was in such a hurry The dinner went quietly, Tenma finishing what was offered and urging himself off. He'd asked a request of her which she of course kept to. There was little else she could do. At least her head felt better, later in her room she removed the bandages to look at the pink discolored slash on her forehead near her hair line.
She couldn't help but pout a little, it was healing but she'd like it gone. It wasn't like she had a miracle cure, she'd need to wait for time to take it's toll and destory any evidence of the incident. Placing Xue in his cage she sighed. They were both trapt in a sense.
Xue didn't seem to mind it much but Xin longed for something more. Her eyes lulled shut. The hamster-kitties cage on her bed, while she was half on the floor with her arms crossed over the sheets, her head rested on her folded arms. She was tired from an exciting day.
