This magnificent bridge is an example of the modern engineering that is evident all over Republic City. It stands across a span of water, and has several lanes for car traffic, as well as large walks for pedestrians who want to cross. It is somewhat less patrolled by authorities at night.

One of the oldest and most intricately designed buildings in all of Republic City, it stands as an icon of order in the chaos of the city. It is the headquarters of the metalbending police force, headed by Lin Bei Fong. Criminals are also imprisoned here.

Once the economic hub in Republic City, it has faded somewhat in importance since the inception of the automobile. Despite this, it is often busy, with trains coming and going. A monument of Fire Lord Zuko overlooks the area.

A complex of heavily constructed and fortified tunnels runs under Republic City, housing many of the services that make life in the city easy. Some of it's more unused segments have become a base for Equalist activity lately..

Located in the central part of Republic City, the land is dotted with trees, shrubs, and is flowing with small streams. It's a romantic getaway for those lucky enough to have a car, or just a quick escape from the hustle and bustle in the city. It also houses some of those who are in poverty, and is home to protests and other gatherings.

The power plant is what stores and distributes electrical power to the populace of Republic City. It's employees include a contingent of Firebenders who use lightning-bending to charge the grid.

As one of the oldest buildings in Republic City, the City Hall is one of the most iconic as well. The City Hall houses the offices of the Republic City as well as plays host to the United Republic Council that governs most large state matters for the United Republic. It is also used for formal public announcements, events and gatherings of state.
