is Iroh the dragon of the west? If so, I'm getting more and more curious about the story about the siege on Ba seng Se. Yes, he is. The siege of Bai Seng Se was his last battle, since it was there he found his only son and child had died on another battle field and he surrendered to go back home.

Yes, but we know now he did get inside the city walls and something changed him into a new man after that. We also know an encouter with the spirit realm had influence on him and I wouldn't be suprised if it happend somewhere there, as the Ty Lee and face stealer theorie comes to my mind, than again the loss of a son can be enough to change a man alone.

DUDE! SMeller Bee's a GIRL! ANd ....Long shot doesn't.. talk.... Can he read mind? ? Nah, his friends/comrades know him very well that they can easily catch on to what he's doing. It's possible. 's been that way for me and people who've known me for a while and/or closely. In fact most people form this connection with other people. Easily communicating through signals, cues, gestures and/or as few words as possible. I think there's a proper term for it but I'm not certain.

I wanna see a fight between Zuko and Jet with mostly swords cuse i mean come on Jet knows Zuko is a firebender. He going to try to make Zuko do firbending in Bai Seng Se so Zuko will get sent to jail. I wanna see it because i wanna see some mad sword skills ;D

I agree, Jia. Azula was too quite. She's a schemer, and it scares me ._.;
But Aang's "detatchment" was interesting to me. We just got done with out Buddhism unit in World Religions...
Buddhism teaches that suffering is caused by attatchment, and the only way to end such suffering (and achieve Nirvana) is to become unattatched. I could get into so much more, but class is about to start, so... perhaps at a later time...

"The fear of loss leads to jealously. The shadow of Greed, that is. We must train ourselves to let go of that which we love the most." -Yoda, Episode III
Eh, something like that... It makes sense in many ways, but then one could argue that by being entirely dettached from the world around you, you miss out on all the experiences it has to offer.

If I remember right during a very llloooonggg discussion about this during a discussion talk with my eastern philosophy teacher, buddhists from the buddhist association, classmates in the eastern philosophy class and a very very very very cuuutttte buddhist nun *is bludgeon* detachment ment less about cold, unemotional logic and more of the lines of some sort of encompassing & consuming want/desire.
Y'know how most people can't be without this person or that thing and they can't seem to function properly without that in their life. That sort of attachment is the problem.
Beside if you were detached yourself in the way most people think it means then you'd be unable to practice the whole loving-kindness thang that Buddhism also teaches.
Aang is/was so attached to wanting Appa back he's unable to think clearly. Of course he can still want and attempt to get Appa back, but it'd be best he did so with a clear head.
Hope that helps... or if that didn't come out as entirely babble.
As for Azula--it looked more like she was perturbedly bored. Like she had better things to do than just sit there watching that.

Longshot owns. "I can respect that." It's just too great.
Toph owns. It'd be easy to hate her, but she's just too great a supporting character. The sarcasm owns. She's quiet half the time and she'll drop out sometimes so that the "Real Aang Gang" can do something together.
Sokka is awesome. Glad he finally got something. I've never seen a show slowly but surely turn a slapstick comedy character into a great warrior with a notabl social life. It's just mindblowing.
Aang and Kitara. Hmm... It's not... romantic yet. Their relationship is based on a 12-year-old's idea of love. Powerful, but it's a lot simpler (and purer) than something you would find in, say, a high school relationship. Aang loves her, sure, but I don't think you'll see them holding hands walking in the park anytime soon. It's just not like that. I'm glad it's that way, honestly.
