FanFic contest- Tales of Me
I propose a fanfic writing contest, starting today January 19th and ending Febuary 19th. This will be a short writing contest where in you will create short self contained stories involving you're characters much like in " The Tales of BaSingSe" It can be anything from you getting lost or someone catching a cold. It doesn't need to be long ( aka, the duration of the timeline in your story can be NO LONGER than a day) The wording is important but not as much as creativity.
Why should I bother? this seems borring. Heres the prize
Three winners shall be awarded
- the first
*gets their story drawn into a full color manga
- the second
*gets a penciled manga (like my comic tophy)
*and a full color peice of my favorite momment from the story
-the third
*gets a full color peice from my favorite part of the story
on to the rules-
1- this must be your OWN WORK, no stealling off of FF.net and changing names
2- it must revolve around one of the characters you play
3- there will be no overdone violence or R-rated situations... humorus hotspring adventures are acceptable as long as they are tastefull and innocent in nature.
4- the deadline is Feb. 19
5- the story can no continue on for longer than a day
6- the finished fictions can be placed in this thread with the title
" The Tale of (insert character name) "
in bold writing
Scoring
-Length will not be taken into consideration. It's not a crucial factor though it should be longer than a paragraph
-grammer is important but not as important as origanality
The grading rubric will be as follows
Overall story- ?/10
Reader appeal- ?/10
Creativity- ?/10
Imagery- ?/10
Following the guidelines- ?/10
Overall score- ?/50
