After Sho had been essentially abandoned in a small section of town with no more effort from his opponents than it took to swat an annoying insect from one’s forearm, he found himself sore, embarrassed, and desperate for a means of escape. At first, and in vain, he attempted to scale the wall with his own strength and agility, but, for one, the wall was incredibly tall and lacked in footholds, and, two, he was more than sore from the conflict he had gone through. It was then that he actually started to use his head, and, spotting a rather tall home just a skip away from the rocky perimeter, jogged through the house and up the stairs, eventually finding a way onto the roof. From there is was simple to take a small leap and skid down the steep slope of the wall, though he stumbled at the end, nearly adding a face plant to his list of injuries.
He shook this off, however, and scanned the sky and streets, searching for any sign of activity. It was rather simple, actually; he followed the line of smoke and debris, though it became extremely obvious where he should go when a gigantic, familiar beast took off from behind one of the buildings, and shot off into the sky. Sho ran then; though it the likelihood for him to do much good for the current situation was extremely laughable, he might get an idea of what had happened, or find someone that could inform him.
When Sho reached the side of the building, after carefully picking his way over a multitude of shattered shingles, he suddenly paused and glanced around the narrow street curiously. Among the many piles of cracked tiles, the debris also consisted of a broken cart and… several, round, green cabbages. Sho blinked at this strangely comical sight and, with a slight smile, stepped in closer for further observation.
There was a large pile of cabbages and splintered wood in the center of most of the debris, but there was something odd about it. The way it was shaped and piled… it seemed too large and bulging to be completely what it appeared to be. Raising his eyebrow, Sho approached it and gasped as he recognized familiar fabric and the tint of pale skin beneath.
“Zuko!” He blurted instinctively, noticing the prince had actually rolled out of most of the debris. However, Sho felt obligated to help and tossed off a few cabbages.
“What happened?”
