The little tinkering of the bells from which the door open make a racket inside of the shop. The normal scent of incense loomed in the area. Tsu was familiar with that smell already, coming here at least once a week. His two guards stayed outside while he was shopping. After hearing the bells, a smaller gentleman came by and smiled at his regular customer.
“My dear friend Tsu,” he greeted, “What shall it be today? Perhaps another changshan will be to your liking?” “Not today Ming,” Tsu replied, “I’m here actually with a few friends that will be showing up later today. They will be your customers today.” The older gentleman bowed in respect as Tsu waited inside. He pondered for minutes with what the both of them said to him on that rickshaw ride. He still couldn’t believe what they both said. He was a little prepared with the one called Azar got defensive, but he didn’t expect a thing when sweet and gentle Ravi spoke his mind. It echoed in his mind for a while. He needed to contemplate it some more.
After a few minutes going by, the sounds of the door could be heard as Ravi went through the door with such a fascinated look. The older man greeted them like a customer.
“Hello friends, welcome to my shop. How may I be of service for you today?” the old man greeted. Tsu came walking by slowly to greet them both.

He was too slouched for it to matter whether or not people cared what mood he was in - even if that made no sense, there was more than enough reason to believe Azar was as sullen as he felt. Thank heavens those around him, namely Ravi, could tell just why he felt so crummy and looked so edgy, since he'd probably want to die before explaining it again to stupid people who didn't pay attention. Good thing he could keep his mouth shut now and no one would care as he was lead about quietly like Ravi's personal valet or something.
He'd been lied to and proven wrong way too many times in the past twenty-four hours to even see the slightest silver lining in any cloud. When they entered the tailor shop or whatver kind of bullcrap it was, Azar sought out the nearest comfortable chair to sit his oh-so-sensitive behind upon, just so he could sit and wait for those two limp-wrists to gab and gab and gab while he lost himself in self-examination and died a little inside. What a joyful way to spend an afternoon!
Before Ravi could even answer the man who greeted them at the door, Azar plopped his rather plushy self on a rather plushy chair upholstered in soft scarlet fabric. It was comfortable enough for an Azar! It was a matter of time before someone asked him to follow the two into the back room, though. Piffle.

Ravi fortunately had the grace to deal with ‘Mister Grumpy-Pants’ this afternoon. Hopefully today would be less of pain in the ass if Azar doesn’t start another fight. As the owner came to greet them, Ravi smiled politely. “Good afternoon, we’re friends of Tsu’s can you show me some styles for a shen yi?” Ravi asked still keeping his grace as Azar lumbered passed him. He could just smell the sour attitude off of Azar. Of course Ravi realized this was typical. When Azar was unhappy, he’s unhappy forever and will drag everyone down into his pit of despair.
But not today, Ravi will try to have a pleasant of an experience as possible with Tsu. He watched his lover sit in plush chair and scowl. Ravi hope he will find something nice that would also help Azar’s mood. Futile as it was. Ravi smiled at Tsu as he was taken back. “I should apologize for my behavior on the rickshaw, I was just trying to support Azar, which probably makes me more of ass than I am already am.”

“Hello Ravi,” Kuni Tsu greeted Ravi near the entrance. He glanced over at Azar quickly and still noticed the sour attitude that he gave off.
“And do not worry about what happened at the rickshaw,” Tsu reassured, “What happened there was just a miscommunication. Nothing more. No harm done” The older gentlemen took Ravi by the hand and started to eyeball Ravi’s measurements.
“A Shen Yi you say? Very good,” the old man said, “If you would just so kindly follow me…” The older man guided Ravi behind a fold away privacy wall. Nearby was a drawer. As he pulled out a drawer, string and pins were located inside. These were used to help get the exact measurements. He took a piece of string and wrap it around Ravi’s waist. Then he took another piece and wrap it around his chest. With a few pushes of the pin, he got the measurements for the Shen Yi.
“Very good,” the older man said, “Anything special you would like done with the Shen Yi ma’am?”
While that was being done, Kuni Tsu sat down nearby the entrance when one of the guards, Ching came in holding a rolled up scroll of sorts.
“Sir, I think you should probably look at this,” he stated. Kuni Tsu grabbed to the scroll and un-rolled it to read. A look of shock came to his face as he silently read the message.
“Brother…” Kuni Tsu muttered under his breath.

Ravi followed the old man to the back where he would get measured for the Shen Yi. He stood still as old man measured his chest and waist as well as arms and legs. He hate this process but it must be done to have something taliored too you.
At the last when he was finished the old man asked him if he wanted anything special. Ravi blinked however when he called him 'ma'am'. Standing on the stool he sniffed his wrist and looked into the mirror. He was wearing some modest men's clothes and he didn't have his ylang-ylang and sandalwood perfume on.
Shrugging smiled politely, "Just sir for today, and I do want this modified so I can wear matching trousers underneith." Ravi said getting off the stool to talk to Tsu about getting Azar a vest when he heard him mutter 'brother'
"Tsu? Is something wrong?" Ravi asked before finding Azar to ask him what he wanted.

Azar wasn't even watching everyone and everything with detached interest, though he did hear every word they said. Talking about clothes and nonsense like that, gadding about like old girlfriends who had known each other for years, not like the two veritable strangers they were. It was stupid to warm up to someone so quickly, Azar thought, but it was also rather hypocritical to condemn one for something he himself did and felt he benefitted from. His relationship may have taken different turns if he'd gotten to know Ravi better before 'consummating' things, and they'd no doubt also be happier, but he altogether couldn't change the past.
Since Ravi was his greatest chance and happiness and he'd strain himself to find another, they had to work to make their relationship last. Rocky ground and twisting trails were the majority of their love so far, but there could be better prospects in the future, right? Azar quite frankly didn't care at that point. Yet from behind that privacy screen far across the room, Azar heard Tsu speak and Ravi reply rather concerned. It was none of his concern, but it did draw his attention away slightly from an unraveling stitch on the soft, plush cushion underneath him-- well, kind of. It just wasn't the exact route he expected their time in this wonderful little tailor's shop to go.

He couldn’t believe it. Gengoro is still alive. And worse, he mentioned that he will be visiting soon. Gengoro knew he was wanted in this part of the world for treason. He would surely be executed if he was found out. A look of worry came across his face.
He rolled up the scroll to hide the contents inside. He placed it into his sash for safekeeping.
Ravi asked him if he was ok? Kuni Tsu didn’t know how to answer. Either tell them the truth that his brother is a treasonous cur or lie that is was nothing.
“It was nothing Ravi,” Tsu tried to smile, “Just some bad news that I will take care of momentarily. It’s nothing to be concerned about.”
He looked over at Azar and noticed that he was a little bored, picking away at the seat. This could create an interesting diversion. With one arm laid over the back of Ravi’s neck, he turned away fro Azar and started to whisper in his ear.
“You know,” Tsu whispered, “I think Azar looks a little bored. I say we get him a vest or some trousers of some sort. You know, to cheer him up with. What do you think?”
He got a whiff of Ravi’s hair near his face and it from what it smelt, he was well groomed. It’s texture was soft and the smelt of flowers.
“I see that you have most of the manners and hygiene in this relationship as well,” Kuni Tsu continued to whisper.

The look on Tsu's face read that isn't wasn't nothing but something of the opposite nature. However as Tsu whispered in his ear about Azar, Ravi had to agree. "That was my original intention, but I think he's still cross...I don't if it's at me." He needed to make it up to Azar, because it wasn't fair for him to be miserable and he to be happy. At Tsu last statement, Ravi blushed. So he actually noticed? He been using a different shampoo for a few days, but Azar never noticed. Infact, Azar seemed not to notice the little things that Ravi has done to get his attention. But Tsu did. "Why thank you, I don't hear that a lot." He said in the same whisper
Ravi walked over to Azar and tried to get his attention. "I know you're bored, you have that look on your face." Sitting next to Azar, Ravi tilted his head back and rubbed his shoulders. "I know you wouldn't care...but want do you think I got you something new trousers? And maybe later tonight we can have that private dinner I mentioned eariler just us." He figured Azar's answer would be something. 'no,' or 'whatever I don't care.' Ravi knew he shouldn't have expected a good answer, he wished he knew what would get him into a better mood. Anything that isn't shopping maybe.

Ravi was probably thinking the same thing Azar was about to say in some way, shape, or form, and while Azar knew vaguely his reaction was predictable, he couldn't bring himself to care one bit. "I don't care if you get me a whole ensemble," Azar muttered apathetically, really only exaggerating his indifference, though it very well could make Ravi think he actually wanted to stick around. Truth be told, Azar didn't pay much mind to what he said anyway, and connotations that could surely send Ravi all atwitter with excitement over dressing up his lover were completely ignored.
Sighing, looking to the side, and slumping back in his chair, Azar's spirits were still low. From the time he left his mother's house and decided not to fight where life led him that day, he had lacked as much drive as ever. Disappointment wasn't found in others' reactions or in his own, but in how others would think of him due to either reason. Not a few people would probably now think him stupid and irrational with either his family or with Tsu, proving once again how this young man of such cantankerous attitude actually cared how people viewed him.

He completely disregarded the idea of having a date tonight after all this would be over. Ravi was running out of ideas to cheer his lover up. But at this point, Ravi rather give up instead of continuing and provoking a fight. The look of annoyance and disappointment was on Ravi's face as he got up to consult the tailor. "If you are uncomforable Azar you are not required to stay, you can go if you want and do something that you would enjoy." Ravi pitched out the idea of a date one more time. "We can go out later if you want." Ravi squeezed Azar's shoulder affectionatly before moving back near Tsu and looking at more fabric.
Moving the silk cloth around also aggressivly before finding something that would suit Azar, frowning he put it back before talking low to Tsu so Azar cannot here.
"He doesn't care, he never does. Anything I do or ask is met with a shrug and a sigh. I know he is uncomforable here so I asked him to leave." Ravi found something else that was nice solid plum before also putting it away. Ravi sighed again and stopped before apologizing to Tsu. "Forgive me, by me burdening my problems with you." Ravi was upset it was apparent, but in time he would be sunny again.

The expression on Tsu’s face didn’t change. This relationship he’s noticing from the both of them is rather different. Azar from what he analyzed, was laid back almost to the point of apathy. This sign of apathy made Ravi upset sometimes, something he doesn’t like seeing.
“There has to be something he would enjoy,” Tsu whispered, “Do you know of any hobbies that he enjoys doing? Does he like to go out to eat? Does he like to indulge in alcoholic beverages? Does he like theatre?”
The list of suggestions continue to cycle in his mind as he looked through the line of clothing articles that were hung for people to purchase. Kuni Tsu pulled out at random a changshan suit made out of silk that had a orange color to it with a little pink. On the back was an etching of a dragon and a tiger fighting each other in a circle. Funny, it almost reminds him of the relationship that Ravi and Azar are experiencing.
He pulled it out so he could better see the suit, then pointed it toward Ravi for an opinion.
“Do you think Azar would enjoy this one?” Kuni Tsu asked Ravi as he turned the suit for him to better look at both sides, “According to what I analyzed, he might fit in this, and the colors would look good on him, change up his style for a while. Perhaps for special occasions like a dinner with his parents perhaps? Maybe for him to visit your parents with? What do you think?”

He didn't really feel like leaving, so he decided not to. What else could he do that could make him feel better but just go somewhere else and mope around there? There was really little else, so his chair was where he would remain. He did, however, change positions in his seat, lodging his other fist at his jaw and leaning over boredly. Azar would have loved to stay seated and relax (like that was possible), but he overheard one too many familiar syllables in sequence that sounded a bit too much like his name.
He was starting to feel curious, like his ears were burning. Whenever people spoke about him in his presence, he had to know just what they were saying, just in case he had to correct their wrongness-- and chances were, they were totally wrong no matter how much he had to nitpick. Hefting from the chair and stomping over toward the voices behind the curtain, so faint they were, Azar walked up behind them right as Tsu stopped speaking.
"What about me?" Azar said rather accusatory, like he knew they were gossiping. He was their subject, so he had to know what they were saying. This wasn't to say he didn't enjoy being the center of attention. Quite the opposite...
