"It's kind of strange to see everyone again...after so long, I mean."
The statement was made softly, made almost as if Shang hadn't really meant to say it outloud or was perhaps talking to himself. But Auina heard it. The man seemed so...uncomfortable. What had he seen during his military service, and was that effecting him now? Was that making him feel as if he were a koi fish out of water among those that he'd grown up beside?
It was at this point that the tap tap of wood against terra firma, drawing the acrobat's attention. She looked up to spy Nimuta winding her way to them. She'd vaguely remembered someone, though Auina couldn't remember who, mention the blind woman feeling a little ill.
"Well...I'd better get going, Shang. I'm sure we'll be packing up soon, and we'll need all the extra hands we can get to do it quickly..."
She rose, offering Shang one last gentle smile, before she parted ways.
[Sorry for how long it took to respond, and consider this Auina's exit.]

Nim wondered a bit, doing her best not to run into anything, but it wasn't long before people started moving around, packing up camp. She felt very useless, she often did when it came to moving day since she really couldn't help much. She tried to stay out of the way, but she wasn't entirely sure where she was standing and wherever she moved she felt like she was right in the middle of everything.
"Nimuta, what are you doing up?" Her fathers voice reached her ears and shortly after his large, rough hand rested on her shoulder.
"I woke up hungry, I was just trying to get to the fire," Nim said alittle sadly, in the half-hour she had been out of bed she hadn't stumbled upon the fire.
"Hungry? Come on, I'll take you back tot he wagon and get you something to eat," he said in his loving tone and he put a small amount of pressure on her shoulder, pushing her in the direction of the family wagon.
It was only a matter of minutes before she was seated in the back of the wagon and a warm bowl of oatmeal was in her hands. She lifted the bowl to her mouth and sipped the over-flooded meal. It was like drinking water with clumps of food in it and a slight cinnimon taste to it. It was good enough to satisfy Nim's hunger and when she was done her father helped her out of the wagon to sit in the grass where she would remain until everything was packed and the caravan was ready to move out.

The next day...
Iikagen awoke that morning in an unfamiliar setting, but one he eventually recalled from the night before. In a rare occurrence, he had actually allowed himself a chance to drink and celebrate along with the caravan as they commemorated their return to the Fire Nation. Ordinarily he was not so trusting of strangers, but he'd seen enough of them during the day to consider it a safe risk to take. They seemed like a genuinely kind-spirited band of people. So kind and giving. Especially the one lying next to him.
The Igni glanced to his side at Zahira who was still asleep in the bed that covered the floor of the wagon. Though he had his fair share of fire whiskey, he still remembered some of the finer details of his late night encounters with the belly dancer. Just the thought of it brought a wide grin to his face.
However, Iikagen quickly realized that he would be best served by being back on the road as soon as possible. The Flame Dancers were going back to the Fire Nation, and that was one road he wasn't willing to follow again. With impressive stealth despite a partial hangover, Iikagen extracted himself from the layer of sheets and managed to dress himself. His belongings were conveniently piled in the corner of the wagon, and within a minute or two he was ready for travel. The Igni spared one last look at his bedmate, lifting up the covers with his foot, in order to hold him over for the next leg of his journey.
Iikagen then slipped out of the wagon and into the early morning. Several members of the caravan were up and breaking down their tents for travel, but he made a bee-line for the edge of the woods before heading North.
[Iikagen has left the RP.]
