It seemed like the signal had done its job - Kasen could see Isau on his war lizard converging on the Igni. They would be able to corner the man on this large building and shoot him till he couldn't tell the difference between his hand and his mothers pincushion. Kasen kicked the war lizard a final time as it leaped over a roof of a building. Kasen could tell that Isau was already shooting at the man, and the elder Yuu Yan drew his bow, nocking an arrow to it and aiming at the Igni.
Kasen's eyes widened in surprise as he saw the Igni jump off the building, with nothing but empty space to hold his lean frame. His surprise changed into marvel as he saw the chain fly out to the building - a good ten meters away. Shaking his head slightly He quickly notched an arrow to his bow. Isau had just missed the Igni, shooting into the side of the building. Kasen instantly readjusted his own arrow and shot, a small smile showing through his tattooed face as he hit the Igni in the small of the back.
It wasn't fatal, but it would still hurt to move. Yuu Yan archers shot barbed arrows - harder to shoot, harder to get out of a wound. You couldn't just yank these arrows out without pulling out a large amount of flesh and tissue with it. Kasen himself had a scar on the back of his right thigh from a novice arrow.
Isau shot again as the man tumbled into the window, his arrow falling just short of the window. Kasen shook his head. he might hate Iikagen but he could still appreciate the physical mastery the Igni had. It was - quite honestly - nothing short of total awareness of the body.Kasen stopped his war lizard on the roof and narrowed his eyes, watching the window. Isau came up to him and in the distance he reported that he had seen Sulak just a minute or two away.
Kasen nodded and looked down. The drop wasn't too bad, but it was the barrels and boxes that littered the alleyway that would make it difficult. There had to be another way into that building! Kasen growled. The first place Kasen looked was the front entrance to the long - what looked like communal - building, and scowled seeing the busy, albeit drunk, crowd trickling into and out of the entrance. The landowner must make extra money by turning the complex into a small restaurant during the night.
"We need to find a way into the building without attracting attention. If we can corner the Igni in a room it will be easy to take him back to the Fort."
Isau nodded, Sulak arriving in time to hear Kasen.
"Spread out and notify the other quietly when you find a good vantage point."

The crash of glass and wood shocked the doctor and as the igni fell into his hospital. Tomo rushed over and gasped.
"Sekar! It's the-" Sekar slienced her with a look. The igni looked like he was young man, probably a trained warrior as well. He might be the result of the murder to his patron's son. Sekar took out his needles. The opium laced ones were good at sediation, he might have to use them if the igni does anything.
Motoko and Yuka arrived as well. "Doctor he's injured are you going to just stand there?" Yuka chided to Sekar. The Raven Healer walked slowly to the igni and tried to talk to him
"You better stand still you have an arrow in your back, no doubt from the Yuu Yans. You might want to relax, Lucky that you fell into a clinic, I'll get that patched up, but, I'm jaded enough to know that I need to hand you over."
"Yuka! Get me gause, tweezers and crushed feverfew and aloe now!" Yuka ran as Tomo approached the Igni cautiously.

"You better stand still you have an arrow in your back, no doubt from the Yuu Yans," the man in the room stated. Iikagen stared at him for a few seconds, focussing through the pain to think about what he was saying. An arrow in his back? The Igni reached around behind him and his hand brushed against the shaft of an arrow.
"Ow!" he yelped briefly and then let out a seething grunt. That touch had twisted the arrow's barbed tip inside his body and sent a jolt of pain down his left leg. He'd actually forgotten about that injury for a few seconds after crashing into the room, having had multiple pains simultaneously thrust upon him. And as he twisted his head around in order to inspect the wound, he could see that the arrow was embedded in the meat just above his left buttock. It entered at an angle, though, and luckily pointed away from his spine where it could have hit his spine. It was a flesh wound, but it was deep and likely would be a pain to remove. From what he remembered seeing, the Yuu-yans favored barbed arrows...
"Yuka! Get me gause, tweezers and crushed feverfew and aloe now!" the man went on, ordering a woman in the room around in a professional manner. Was this man a doctor? Closer inspection of the room he was in showed a variety of medicinal instruments and racks full of herbs and salves. Iikagen almost laughed. What goopd fortune! He gets shot and crashlands in a hospital all in the span of a few seconds. However, he quickly realized that he might not be as lucky as he initially thought.
The Yuu-yans knew he was in this building. He had originally planned to keep on moving and make his way out a back door and continue his run, but that seemed unlikely to succeed with his recent injuries. He was right where he needed to be, but he couldn't stay there with those damned archers surrounding him! Unless...
The woman in the room was slowly approaching him with her hands raised and palms showing. She seemed to be intent on getting him to cooperate so this healer man could patch him up. Iikagen quickly formulated his plan and put it into action. He visibly slumped a little bit and let his head roll warily to the side. A weak moan escape him and he looked as if he was about to collapse. The girl rushed forward suddenly, apparently trying to catch him before he hit the ground and further twisted the arrow in his back. She reached out and tried to grab him around the shoulders... just as he had hoped.
Iikagen's eyes snapped open and his hands quickly latched onto the girl's wrists. She gave a yelp of surprise and tried to recoil her arms, but the Igni held fast. He caught himself before he actually fell and stood up straight. He pulled the woman in close to him, spinning her as he did so in order to cross her arms over her chest. With her hands overlapping, Iikagen kept them both pinned with one of his own and used his free hand to scoop up his chain that was lying along the floor. THhough the girl's scream he managed to isolate the barbed end of his weapon and wave it before her face. The girl quieted immediately, though she was suddenly shaking.
"Easy now," he said, his voice calm, but holding an edge to it, "I'm not gonna hurt'choo if you just play along..." He put the edge of the barb near her throat and stared at the man across the room. "Now... dose archers are probably gonna be lookin' for me soon enough. When dey come into dis buildin', you're to tell dem I went out de back way."
He paused for a moment as a thought came to him. "In fact, why don'choo start headin' out de door to tell dem right now? If you send them off, your girl lives, and I may even t'row in a reward for your assistance..."

"You sonofabi*tch" Cursed Sekar as Tomo was held captive, She looked incredibly terrified, eyes wide and shaking. His little Mouse was caught by a big bad cat.
"Tomo don't move and keep calm, I'll get you out of this." Sekar's eyes burned with anger, but the Raven Healer kept calm. "They say it's bad luck to anger any man that touches the dead and dying, because you might join the numbers." Sekar spun around, not wanting to loose his best nurse to wild savage he turned to Motoko and Yuka, and whispered in Yuka's ear "You Ox keep an eye on him. If he tries any funny Sh*it, don't be afriad to throw your needles." Yuka nodded as Sekar walked away to the door.

"You sonofabi*tch!" the doctor-looking man cursed, looking at Iikagen with no small amount of contempt. The Igni nodded his head to the side and waved the hand holding his barbed chain in a gesture that signified him conceding the point. Iikagen grinned, though, when he heard the man consent to cooperating. Apparently he'd picked the right nurse to hold hostage. The doctor went on to quote some old healer's saying that he'd never heard before. It was meant as a threat, the Igni realized, but he hardly cared. He was just pleased that the guy was starting for the door in order to redirect the Yuu-yans.
"Make sure to hit your head on de door!" Iikagen called after him, "It'll be more convincing if joo got a little blood on ja." He smirked and whispered in the ear of the girl, Tomo as the docotr called her, that he was holding hostage, "Dey'll probably believe 'im anyway, but I just wanna see if he'll do it." He gave a quiet chuckle and let out a sigh.
Now that things had started to settle just slightly, his mind was brought back to the issue of the arrow in his back. Considering all the years of training he'd gone through in a warrior tradition as rigorous as anywhere else in the world, iikagen had a relatively high threshold for pain. However, now that the initial shock and adrenaline rush had started to fade, his body was starting to ache. Not only were his leg and back sore from the crash and the arrow, his muscles in general felt strained and fatigued. All this running and jumping was starting to get to him.
But still, he had to admit... This was the most fun he'd had in a long time!

Tomo was scared, well that was obvious as she shaked in the stranger's arms. He was very strong he could probably take down Sekar in no effort. Motoko and Yuka fingered their needles it was only a matter of time before the savage does something stupid. Tomo sobbed dripping her tears on the Igni as she stuttered. "P-p-please d-d-don't kill me. I'm nothing to y-y-ou j-j-just a nurse. S-s-sekar needs me.." Yuka frowned and shouted.
"Just hold on Tomo sweetie, He'll won't hurt ya and if he does I'll kick 'im so hard that his decendents will feel it." Motoko tapped her foot. The chubby nurse looked around. "I hope Doc is alright Sekar, doesn't like to lie." Yuka spat on the ground. "If I know Raven Man it's that he's too damn reliable, he'll pull through." Motoko looked at the Igni and frowned.
"I can't believe I was pulled out of Burn Ward for this s*hit. I have real paients to attend to not some bald tattoo freak." Yuka sighed, "I hear ya Mo, I was working on treating someone with head trama and this guy shows up! Good thing I got Swan to take over." Motoko nodded, "Sarumi is good like that. Well at least this beats lab work."
Sekar walked over to the door and opened it. To face a Yuu Yan archer looking very frustrated. "No the man you look for just left he when now near the Red Light district catch him theire." Sekar instructed with a tone of boredem

Through the nurses' entire exhange, Iikagen followed the speakers with his eyes, shifting them back and forth across the room. It seemed strange. The girl in his grip was still shaking in fear, while the others seemed to have let their little tokens of encouragement slip into a full-blown conversation. The Igni was actually amused by the fact that they seemed to have forgotten all about their hostage by the end.
He even whispered quietly to Tomo, "Quite de workmates you have..." He chuckled slightly and covered the edge of the blade near the nurse's neck with his finger in order to ease her tension a bit. "A blade to your t'roat and dey still be talkin' 'bout lab work."
***********************************************************************
Outside the door, the Yuu Yan archer who had entered the building in search of Iikagen stopped at the sight of Sekar. The doctor entered the hall a short distance down, and upon sighting the archer, quickly dispensed the information he was looking for. "The Red Light distrcit," the Yuu Yan repeated, offering the doctor a slow nod. It was very convenient, actually...
For a moment he didn't move to turn back. His stare lingered on the man for a moment longer. Something struck him as odd. The doctor came out of a room that he assumed to have been the one the fugitive Igni had crashed through. If anyone knew where he had gone off to, it woul be him, and yet his tone and expression seemed hardly befitting of someone who just had a man burst through his window.
However, the Yuu Yan managed to shirk the feeling and turned around to rejoin the others. This man was a Fire Nation doctor. Why would he be lying? He must simply be tired. Or maybe he was just so jaded to a shocking experience like this after dealing with sickness and medicine for so long. Whatever the case, he didn't give it any more thought as he sprinted back down the stairs.

Tomo shivered in his touch she wanted Sekar now. She want go to bed and forget this night. "Please let me go.." She whisper weakly shaking in his arms. Yuka heard foot steps and nudged Motoko. "Look alive Ox, he's back." Sekar burst through the room and told his other attendeds to go back to work.
"Motoko got the childrens ward and finsh your lab work. Yuka head to truama and take over Bulan. Understand. I'll treat the Igni." There was pause. "That wasn't a suggestion ladies move it!" The girls hussled out of the room leaving Sekar with savage and his nurse.
"They have left they think that you are in the Southern District. I suggest you head north to the Red Light if you want to advoid them. Anyway I would like if you would let go Tomo she useless to you now. And if you want I can treat that wound of yours." Sekar pulled out his accuputure needle and laid a hand on the Igni. This won't hurt if you won't struggle.

"Please let me go.." Tomo whimpered, still shivering. Iikagen gently blew out a hushing sound to try and calm her slightly, and whispered back to her, "Soon."
Moments later, the doctor returned to the room, bringing news that he'd sent the Yuu Yans off. "They have left they think that you are in the Southern District. I suggest you head north to the Red Light if you want to advoid them." Ha! Iikagen almost burst out a slight bit of laughter at that. The man's expression and tone made it abundantly clear he was not telling the truth. Very likely the man had told his pursuers the exact opposite. Then again, the Igni couldn't blame him. He was holding a blade to his nurse's throat, so an attempt at vengeance was only to be expected. "Anyway I would like if you would let go Tomo she useless to you now. And if you want I can treat that wound of yours."
The doctor took a step closer, extending a had toward Iikagen while the other pulled out what appeared to be a handful of needles. Even if the man hadn't drawn out those potential weapons, Iikagen would have been a fool to even begin to let him come that near.
"Hold up dere, Doc," he said quickly, tightening his grip on Tomo and pulling away from Sekar's reach. The nurse gave a strange squeaking sound in fright, even though Iikagen still had the sharp edge of his chain's barb completely covered. The Igni kept his eys staring hard at the doctor, ingnoring the jabs of pain that went up his leg and across his back with each movement. He kept up that eye contact for a moment, and he then glanced over at the door. It was still slightly ajar and he could see a few shadows along its base from eavesdroppers; most likely the other nurses.
"You're not touchin' me yet," he told Sekar, then with a jerk of his head toward the door, he ordered, "Lock de door... And when you're done, I want'choo to roll up your sleeves and take out all your needles and put dem on de table 'cross de room." He gave Sekar a few moments to begin complying before he added, "You're not touchin' me till I say ot'erwise."

"Lock de door... And when you're done, I want'choo to roll up your sleeves and take out all your needles and put dem on de table 'cross de room."
Sekar face contortored into a frowned and spat on the ground. "Fine, But I got news for you, without these needles it's going to hurt like a bitch when I pull that arrow out of your backside." Sekar how ever had his trump card. He was firebender. And a damn good one. If that Igni was going to do anything stupid he's going to get third degree burns all over his body.
"Sounds fair you don't like me and I don't you. And if things go the wrong way we can probably kill each other. Just don't hurt Tomo...she's like a niece to me." Sekar pulled a sign from a drawer and walked over to the door and hung on a hook above the door that said 'DO NOT DISTURB, EXAMINATION IN PLACE!' Sekar locked the doors and walked over another examination table took out his plain needles, his sedtive needles and his opiated needles and laided them on the table. He rolled up his sleeves and show him that had nothing else to him.
"Ok Are you happy. Now please in the name of Agni let her go ok. I can treat you and get that arrow out of your ass alright." Sekar was fighting ever urge to burn him alive and begging on the floor. His golden eyes burned with wild frustration.

"Ok Are you happy. Now please in the name of Agni let her go ok. I can treat you and get that arrow out of your ass alright." Iikagen gave a slight laugh at that, and with a little rotation of his arms, he spun Tomo free of his grip and gave her a gentle push toward Sekar. As the nurses staggered into the arms of the doctor, Iikagen quickly coiled up his chain around the length of his forearm and slipped it onto the hook under the edge of his sarong.
He then looked at Sekar and cleared his throat slightly while removing the helmet of the prison guard that he'd been wearing since his escape. He held the helm to his chest and said, with his voice suddenly sound much clearer and devoid of an accent, "Well! Sorry for all that trouble, Miss-" He gave a curt bow to Tomo, hiding the grimace from the pain that shot up his back, "but it seemed a necessary evil at the time..." Iikagen did well to hide his accent almost flawlessly, and his mannerisms seemed to shift entirely in that instant. It was something he'd learned from several of the cunning merchants of his tribe back home. On the Igni Islands they spoke plainly and simply, but when conducting business with the mainlanders of the Fire Nation, they adopted what the Ignis referred to as a 'Fancy' accent. Being able to sound like a primitive islander and a sophisticated nobleman came in handy more often than not. It just took good judgement in knowing when to use which.
Iikagen positively beamed at the docotr and his nurse and added, "I've never meant anyone harm since I arrived unless it was in direct self-defense. I presumed that if I did not find a way to send those Yuu Yans elsewhere, yourself and your lovely nurses would have been caught in the crossfire." He winked at Tomo, "And I do so hate to see items of beauty go to waste..."
The Igni placed his helmet on the table nearest to him and then leaned on it slightly to alleviate the weight on his banged up leg. "So if you would be so kind, I would appreciate your help in removing this arrow, and I will be out of your lovely abode within a candlemark."

"Oh gods Tomo" Sekar embraced his attendant and held her. "Did he do anything to you, Did he hurt, you grope you?" Tomo shook her head. "It's ok Sekar, he didn't do anything..he was accually....polite. Please don't be angry. Remember your promise? Your promise to Fushigo."
Sekar frowned and nodded. "Yes, Yes I know that damn promise. I made a vow I will knot break it. Ok mister Igni, now....ermm well first just speak in your normal accent it sounds odd when you loose it. And second you need to trust me ok. I am professional. Tomo I will need gause, salve and antiseptic. "
Tomo gather the items and rushed back to his side. Sekar took a deep breath and calmly spoke to the Igni, I'm going to pull this out. One two three!" Sekar manuipulated the arrow so it came out fast. He pressed a point slowing blood flow. The Raven Healer massaged the salve into the back making sure to realive stress and pain that was built in. He wrapped up the wounded before he mentioned something, "You shouldn't have don't that...scaring Tomo like that you might not care but she was abused by men, she's shy around other males except for me." Sekar didn't know why he even bothered.
"Ok your done now get out of here before I burn you alive Sekar growled his fists smoking

"Yes, Yes I know that damn promise. I made a vow I will knot break it. Ok mister Igni, now....ermm well first just speak in your normal accent it sounds odd when you loose it. And second you need to trust me ok. I am professional. Tomo I will need gause, salve and antiseptic." Iikagen raised an eyebrow slightly at this insistance that he shouldn't speak properly. Granted, he liked his natural speech better too, but it almost seemed like an insult that Sekar didn't think him suited to 'civilized' speech. Iikagen smirked a little bit. Whatever helps keep him on his pedastal, he thought to himself, figuring that Sekar felt uncomfortable thinking of him as a man of equal intelligence.
"Work your magic, Doctor," he said with a grin. With no small amount of trusting in his instincts, Iikagen resigned himself to allowing Sekar to tend his wounds. The man was a doctor, and very likely had taken some form of oath during his training that compelled him to treat any patient no matter what the circumstances. Or at least, that's what the Igni was banking on.
Sekar gently placed his hands on the arrow, drawing an agitated hiss from his patient. Then, moving his fingers on the flesh around the area presumably alligning the barbed arrowhead for a swift withdrawal, and then yanked the missile out. "PISS N'BLOOD!" Iikagen shouted, almost involuntarily. His fists clenched and he pounded one of them on the table as Sekar began applying some pressure to what Iikagen felt must have been a nasty exit wound. "I could have just pulled it if you were going to be that tactful about it..." he grumbled, partially under his breath. He patiently waited while the doctor dressed the wound and covered it with a few bandages.
"You shouldn't have done that...scaring Tomo like that," Sekar suddenly informed him, a bit unexpectedly as he finished the wrap. Iikagen glanced between him and the nurse, raising an eyebrow slightly and letting the tattoos on his face exaggerate the expression. "You might not care but she was abused by men, she's shy around other males except for me."
"I suppose that makes you quite the lucky fellow, then," the islander said slyly. He gave an experimental twist of his torso to test the maneuverability that the bandages would alow him. The wound still hurt, but without the arrow tearing up his muscles with each movement, it was reduced from a crippling pain to a minor inconvenience. His leg was still sore, though. Perhaps Sekar had not noticed the fact that he was favoring it heavily, but he supposed he could at least get a bandage wrap or a pain-killer for it before hitting the road.
"Ok you're done. Now get out of here before I burn you alive..." Sekar said threateningly. Iikagen was a little surprised by that claim until he noticed the wisps of smoke rised from the doctor's fists. His eyes widened momentarily at the realization. He had really dodged the arrow, metaphorically of course, in his gamble to let Sekar near him. He figured that without any weapons, the healer would find it much more difficult to cause any harm, but the fact that he was a bender changed everything. He could have set him ablaze at any time!
And yet, wasn't such a challenge the very reason he left the Ignis in the first place? Perhaps... But as much as a fight with a bender tempted Iikagen, he wasn't so foolish as to think he could walk away from such a fight unscathed while in his current condition. He smiled at Sekar, showing an array of dazzling white teeth, and said tactfully, "But my leg, good doctor, is still in quite a bit of pain... Perhaps Tomo could help to wrap it?" Iikagen rolled up his pant leg then, stopping just a little past his knee and revealing a nasty scrape along his upper shin that was already turning black and blue. Then offering a slight smirk, he added, "She could even check for a hernia while she's in the area..."

"But my leg, good doctor, is still in quite a bit of pain... Perhaps Tomo could help to wrap it?"
The Igni complained to Sekar who was still fuming at him he walked back to a table and while the savage wasn't looking, he got back his needles. Eyeing at him Tomo, was aphrehsive and very unsure. She did not like men very much. They gave so much trouble during her whore house days. She looked shyily at Sekar.
"Ya know? I think I know someone better who can honestly treat you with the kinda of care you need. MOOOOTOOOOOKOOOOO!" Called Sekar, when a noise that sounded like a stampeding herd of komodo rhino, ran to his room. Motoko was big. Not just a little she was huge. A nice 213 lbs and six feet she was imposing and strong. Coming from a family of massive sumo wresleres. "Yeah Master?" Sekar spoke in delicate sort of voice. "Mo? I need you treat a rowdy patient the Igni if you will Mouse is bit spooked by him." Motoko smirked, and walked over. "Alright worm! Stand still and be quiet." She got out her gause and salves.
"Motoko isn't gentle as you well figured out. I'm going to get some sleep. I'm done with you. Either you leave or well...your going to end up with very angry nurses..." Yuka, Sarumi, Citra and Bulan showed up as well. Bulan was idly tossing fire ball. None of the nurses looked at all please.
"Good night ladies I'll leave him to you. Yuka make sure leaves in good contion.."
And with that Sekar slighly left the room and when to his bed room to turn in..

"Alright worm! Stand still and be quiet." Iikagen's jaw nearly dropped. He'd never seen such a large woman in his life! The Igni turned his gaze toward Sekar as the doctor went for the door and shot him an incredulous expression.
"Good night ladies I'll leave him to you. Yuka make sure leaves in good contion..." Iikagen stuck his tongue at Sekar as he disappeared through the door, but grudgingly forced himself to look at Motoko. He would pay that bastard back for this... but that would have to wait another day.
"My, what large... forearms you have, my enchanting Nurse," he said charmingly to the massive Motoko. His complements sounded hollow, even to him, for he was still partly in awe of the sheer size of this woman. "Perhaps-OW!" His further attempts to sway her were cut short by the sharp pain in his leg as she grabbed his foot and lifted it up onto her knee. With a coating of some healing salve on her other hand, she began roughly spreading the goo over the battered section of his shin. Her hard pressing hands and squeezing fingers made him hiss in pain, and several of the other nurses saw fit to restrain him. The one named Yuka was holding onto his right arm, and he said quietly to her, "I bet she has one hell of a handshake..."
After a few moments, Motoko began hastily wrapping his leg with bandages, perhaps a little too tightly for Iikagen's liking. However, when she was done, he was hoisted to his feet and then picked up by his waist by the massive nurse. Motoko stomped over to the door, pulled it open, and then tossed him out into the hallway. Iikagen managed to keep his footing and, amazingly, found that he could stand without as much discomfort on his bad leg. A smile crept across his face, and he turned to regard the nurses. He barely managed a slight wave before the door was slammed shut. The Igni dusted himself off before he noticed he was missing something. "What about my-" he called to the door, and was immediately hit by his travelling satchel that was thrown out of the door. Nodding his head slightlt to the side, he hefted the pack over one shoulder and started off down the hallway.
Iikagen made his way into the alleyway behind the Hospital, taking great care to check for any sign of lingering Yuu Yans before setting foot in the open. Apparently, they had moved on in their search. Iikagen was grateful for that good fortune, and with a bit of a limp, he set off across the city back the way he'd came. And even though he felt as though his sneaking abilities were perfect, Iikagen considered himself lucky to not have encountered any more archers on his way back toward the more crowded slums of the city. He was by the outer wall when he finally scaled the buildings to reach the rooftops and then climbed over the walls once more. With any luck, the Yuu-yans would think he was hiding out in some dark corner of the city while he began a long trek out of the region.
Iikagen made a sigh of relief when he finally made it into the darkest reaches of the surrounding woods. He was confident he could shake these mainlanders in a forest now that he had a much larger headstart. "Well..." he said lightly to himself, stretching his back and putting his hands behind his headf, "That was fun..."
