We all knew Korra would get her bending back. She's the avatar, and one way or the other, it would've happened. My issue is more in how it came about than anything else. The way she came into the avatar state, after EVERYTHING ELSE that happened in the show, just made it seem...meh. There's a podcast I listen to that equates your story to a budget, and the plot items in it as your expenses. While I do understand that this season was written under the pretenses that there wouldn't be a next season...in my opinion, they overshot the budget in the finale, tried to shove too much into a pair of episodes. We could have had less shipping tiemz, and a bit more adding in these little bits and pieces that came out all the sudden in the last two episodes. It would've given better pacing to things overall. This is why I'm a fan of playing through Air. We have the luxury of pacing the story out a bit better, so that when it DOES come time to RP these events of the finale, we will have had some great lead-in for it. We could leave our benders hanging as to whether or not they'll get their bending back. Our Korra, who seemed to come by water, earth and fire bending sooo naturally, would actually have to work to figure out how to get those abilities back. I don't think she'd have to relearn them so much as...figure out how to access them again. Make it a spiritual journey, etc etc. /posts picture, gets off soapbox for now

Honestly, one thing that pissed me off a little was that with the changing scope of the show, the lack of a straight black/white difference between good and evil, that there were no benders who saw little value in their abilities, or even benders who AGREED with Amon- like Rogue from X-Men who wanted to be "cured". Amon called it a cure- no bender agreed with him. But I think, had they had more episodes to work with, we might have seen something like it.
/weird idea rant

So for the most part, we're all in agreement that the season's brevity didn't give us much of an inside view to particular characters and the world as we hoped for, right?
Meanwhile, writing up a description for the Equalist uniform: turned out to be more difficult than expected but at least it's been taken care of for now. \(^.^)/ Wow, I felt rusty.
