Desna has two meanings which I find entertaining
it's an Inuit name meaning "boss" In Arabic Desna means "offering" Apperantly it's also a tributary river in Russia for a fun factoid
Addition: Desna is also slavic for gums...... mn.....
Makoktok means "Young" in Inuit
so put together it could mean "A young boss" because she takes charge of her life or "a young offering" or it could be just two names I threw together from a list of Alaskan dog names! who knows (it's the dog names)

Xia Feng Supposedly means Summer Wind. I've also heard that Xia could mean Golden and that Feng could mean Phoenix, which is what I originally meant it to mean, but Summer Wind fits her nicely.
Agni Hindu god of fire. I think this should be obvious. I chose it because the word Agni has already been used in the show -- thought it would be a good name for the patron spirit of the Fire Nation.
Zahira Feminine form of Zahir, which means "helper/supporter." I swear it meant something different when I found it, but I forget what. I think I just wanted a "z" name... and one that sounded like "Sita."
