Name: Princess Azula
Age: 15
Nation: Fire Nation
Bender?: Yes, Fire Bender.
Physical Appearance: With jet-black styled hair and narrow, wheat gold eyes, she could be considered a beautiful young lady. An elaborate red insignia of the Fire Nation is affixed as a hair piece atop the young women's hair which is pulled up into a fan-shaped top knot. Her forehead is high and wide, with a tidy hairline atop it. As vain as Azula is, lipstick often is applied to enhance her natural beauty. Often, the princess is seen attending to her cat-like nails.
As for overall physical appearance, she is well toned from years of practice as the prodigy she is in the bending arts. A bit shorter than her older brother, Azula is about average height for a 15 or 16-year old girl. Her facial featres include a curved nose and a pointed chin.
Clothing/Armor: Azula wears a well matched assortment of clothing. A long sleeve shirt who's main section is red with the sleeves being a redish-grey color and baggy, and loose in consistency. On both forearms tight-fitting brown sleeves are wore that end with cuffs that are a mild gold color.
Baggy, redish-grey material is tucked into tight shin covers that are of a red-brown coloration which all make up a unique pants style. Azula's shoes are pointed with a golden strap that is wrapped around the ankle portion of the shoe.
Over her upper body attire, shoulder flaps cover most of her back and chest area along with a collar that is rimmed with a gold trim that sticks up from these so-called shoulder flaps. A slightly scrunched of thin peice of clothe is tucked around her waist and lays over the upper portion of her legs and waist.
Weapons: Highly proficient in the art of fire bending and controlling a manifestation of fire, lightning, Azula doesn't see a need to learn any other weapons.
Personality: A perfectionist in every way, Azula cannot stand other people surpassing her in skill or in intelligence. She is vindictive and cruel to others not hesitating to threaten death upon others to get what she wants without negative feedback. A tad bit vain, often she is seen messing with her hair or nails. Rather sadistic and displaying lack of remorse to all, Azula could be described as a sociopath.
Rarely sympathetic, Azula once remarked her uncle was a "loser and a quitter" when he lost his son and retired from the battlefront. This same lack of compassion is pushed upon her older brother, Zuko, who has been tormented since their childhood with lies and psychological "games" which still carries on to this day. Even when their mother was reported dead, Azula showed no reaction and was never known to mourn at the lose.
This lack of compassion is pushed upon the crew men of her ship and is morphed into utter disrespect for her Uncle Iroh when confrontations may occur.
Background: The second child and only daughter of Fire Lord Ozai and Fire Princess Ursa, Azula was named after her grandfather who at the time was Fire Lord, Azulan. In her younger years, she showed no love to her brother or to either parents. Regardless, the girl was a prodigy and out-shined Zuko in many ways, besides bending. Azula is the favored heir and this has fueled her inexorable desire to be better than everyone else.
After General Iroh reported that he would return home after his son was killed at the battle front, Azula showed no sympathy and remarked harshly toward the situation. Even earlier when sent a doll while her brother received a knife, she selfishly burned the doll. When both siblings left the meeting with the Fire Lord, Azula found her brother latter and taunted him with the lie that father was going to kill him.
Stealing his knife the next morning, she told Zuko that their mother was dead while grinning and chuckling all the way.
At the prince's ill-fated Agni Kai agaisnt her brother and their father, Ozai who was now Fire Lord, Azula cheered their father on passively with a malevolent grin.
Years later now in teenage-hood, Ozai has ordered Azula to capture the now banished and labeled fugitives, Prince Zuko and General Iroh. Being the pampered, favored daughter that she is, Azula received a larger ship and crew than Zuko did when he set out to find the Avatar. Now, as her partners in the quest to capture her brother and uncle, the old allies Ty-Lee and Mai have joined her.
Recently, the Avatar has become a target since her brother has failed after three years of searching to capture him.
Sample RP:
"Ah, big brother Zuzu you would've enjoyed such a sight." Didn't every Fire Nation born love to be engulfed in the sights, smells, and sensations of watching a small Earth Kingdom village burn to the ground? Azula thought so. The helpless cries of women and children as they scrambled to escape from homes who's roofs had collapsed from the flames that cracked through the wood. An ashy smoke that arose from such a disaster let loose the familiar scent of burnt flesh, wood, and food.
An ocean breeze annoyed the princess when it washed away these pleasuring scents. Narrowing her gaze further to physically show off her frustration with the winds disturbance, her hands folded behind her back as she watched from the massive ship, the village. When the breeze subsided, a grin peeled across her face now fully rejoicing in her mind the success of the day.
Earth Kingdom was so weak. To have even a small village burned to the ground without much effort was a sign of Fire Nation's superiority. Only a small minority of the men in that particular village were Earth benders. This was little resistance compared to the skill and craftiness of Azula's crew and her own personal mastery. One village down, hundreds to go...
The thought gave the princess a chuckle. She was particularly entertained when the village's center fell and then billowed a rising ball of flame and smoke.
After a long time of watching from only about 300 feet from shore, the sun began to set upon the charred remains of the village and the proud, iron ship. Giving one final smirk at her success, the princess turned around, her back to the death and destruction.
"Fun's over, little Zuzu. Tomorrow I will find you and bring you home to father." With that said, Azula walked into her personal quarters and the ship set sail once again.
