A sense of peace was upon the young man as he walked down the streets of Hokage. He had been vising the city frequently as of late to see Tsu Kuni his new 'significant other' Azar and he broke up after coming back from Hokage it was bound to happen. Azar left and Ravi felt a sense of loneliness and stupidity wash over him, he saw it coming but did nothing to stop it. Still, his friendship with Tsu was there. He was a good support after the break up.
Now as the evening began to wash over the port, Ravi reflected on their budding relationship. Neither confessed 'I love yous' or anything, still there was sense of mutual trust and affirmation that Ravi never had with Azar. Ravi's hair floated on the ocean breeze. His sun-bright eyes glanced at the incense for sale and bought some nag-champa and jasmine scented to have in the house. His geta clacked on the stone heading to Tsu's estate. There was a certain privlage have having a 'rich boyfriend', there was always security and Ravi didn't always have to struggle to buy things. Tsu had the money. Ravi made sure of course never to take advantage of that. He tried to pay for his own way unless Tsu wanted to dote on him. Though that wasn't often...
Ravi entered the estated and took of his geta and talked down the hall with basket of fresh flowers and some plum-apples. He annouced himself to Tsu as he placed the basket on a small table and brushed off the dust from his carmine red jacket. “I bought some incense I figured you would appreciate it and some fruit for later after supper.” Ravi said softly looking for vase for the fire-lilies and dragon orchids.

All was quiet and the door was closed. Beyond this door was a room lit with candles. The light was dim, but was at least strong enough for Kuni Tsu, who is positioned at his table to see what he was reading. He only had his kimono and socks to keep him warm in the dimly lit room. Many scrolls fill the top of the table, each with lines, scribbles, and drawings. Black ink smeared all over his fingertips.
His career moving decion must be made. He knew the Fire Nation was on the verge of victory in the Earth Kingdom. He must take advantage of the situation in order to keep climbing the ladder before soldiers like Jingko, Zilong, and Vu Ganesu could advance. Even with his behavior as something a little "different" in the military, his battle tactics more than makes up for his personality.
The door opens from downstairs, which meant Ravi came home. A small smile cracked his lips. Listening to his voice made his hard thinking of the day relax just a little. He got up slowly and listened to all of the muscles in his back pop as he walked over to the door. He descended down the stairs and met Ravi in the kitchen looking for a vase. Small smears of ink smudge on the stained oaken door.

"Afternoon dear," Said Ravi gently putting the flowers in a back and pouring a cup of water the porcline vase. He place the flowers in the sun and handed Tsu an appleplum. He put the rest in it's place and Ravi sat down and seemed to be in thought. Ravi sighed and looked up at Tsu his soft eyes seemed to be admiring him.
"Work has been getting crazy?" Suggested Ravi finishing up his snack. To be frank, Ravi never liked war or the milartary it wasn't his style. But he admired Tsu because of it. To be a strong and hard working man and to keep his cool in battle was a virtue to be treasured. Deep down, Ravi still wanted to please Chetan his father, but he wasn't sure that he was brave enough.
"I was thnking about making dinner tonight, instead of your own chefs and then we could just have some time by ourselves?"

One bite into the appleplum was enough to crack a smile on Tsu's face. The sweet nectar glistening the inside of his mouth. He could smell the aroma after that first bite. Before he could finish his first bite, he took another bite, then started chewing.
As for the chefs, I think they could have a night off for once.
"What did you plan on making dear?" Tsu asked. He noticed that Ravi was staring at him in almost a dream-like state. He giggled at how Ravi was presenting himself.
"And if you keep staring like that, I might have to tease you later when we have a moment," Tsu said as he giggled. He took one last bite of the appleplum and threw away the core. He then sat down at the table, looking at what Ravi bought from the market. "So, how was your visit to the market, and please tell me you didn't use your charm to gain discounts?" Tsu continued to tease.

Ravi had a soft grin at Tsu, he was such a noble flirt,
"Probably curry, it's a favorite of mine." Ravi said going into the kitchen not before heard Tsu's voice as he looked though his basket.
"You stop being such a snoop." Ravi said laughing before entering the neighboring kitchen to get the fire started. "And if you must know, I haggled, though a smile or two helped in the bartering." Ravi gave Tsu a flashy grin while sticking his head out for a moment. He went back to work getting the pots and pans ready to make vegetable curry, cutting up the herbs and potatos.
"And Tsu when are you not a tease. I can't take you any where without you undressing me with your eyes." Said Ravi in a playful manner while using the hot wok to make the curry for supper.
"So how goes things on the war front, heard anything about your brother, I remember you vaugely mentioning him." Ravi said going back into other room a getting a bottle of wine. He uncorked it and took a sip before dumping a little in the dish.

"Gengoro," he whispered. Kuni Tsu fell silent after hearing of him once again. His heart skipped a beat, and the entire world stopped spinning. An expression of sadness fell upon his face. His right hand clutched his heart, and it ached.
"I..." Tsu stuttered. He couldn't just talk about him. His brother Gengoro was in fact a wanted man in the Fire Nation for treason. Any mention of him would mean sentencing for punishment unless it's about his whereabouts. In fact, this would've been his home if not for the shame.
"I... ugh. I haven't heard from him," he finished. He looked over to Ravi with the sadness in his eyes, "I haven't heard from him since that letter. I knew he was cunning, sending messages under aliases and different locations. Anyways..."
He walked over to the table and held Ravi's hand, "Perhaps we'll talk about it someday. Until then, I just..."
He was almost on the verge of drying, but held it back for the sake of looking stronger.
"Anyways, the war front is going well. Princess Azula penetrated one of the Great Walls. Ba Seng Sei will be our next target. Once we've gained the capital, a supreme victory will come upon the glory of the Fire Nation."

It was obvious Ravi has touched something. The way that Tsu stuttered and the fact that he looked downtrodden was evidence of that. Ravi put his curry off to the side and came back into the dining room. Tsu held his hand and tried to put off the tears. Ravi felt guilty for mentioning it.
"Anyways, the war front is going well. Princess Azula penetrated one of the Great Walls. Ba Seng Sei will be our next target. Once we've gained the capital, a supreme victory will come upon the glory of the Fire Nation."
The glory of the Fire Nation. Now, Ravi wasn't patriotic. He loved his country and it's people, but as of late he was rather cynical with the war effort. A lot of men were dying, and what was the point of it. Ravi flashed back to his first love. Phirun, who was fellow dancer and his best friend. Last he heard he was still in the Navy. Ravi bit his lip, he is probably dead or worst.
Ravi served the curry over rice and handed a bowl to Tsu and sat down with his. He ate it with delicate grace and got up only to bring out the wine. Ravi knew better to critique the Fire Nation around the Lieutenant. Still Ravi couldn't help but have bored expression when he asked. “What do you want after the war? Settle down? Adopt a child?” Ravi was curious, deep down he didn't like small children. Babies are fine they don't do much but cry, but toddlers were gross.

The question that Ravi asked left Tsu clueless. He never really thought about settling down since he kinda figured that the war wouldn't end for a very long time. Besides, the war could go for generations. If Ozai were to die, Princess Azula would take up the mantle of Fire Lady, and she's more psychotic than her father.
"You know Ravi," he started speaking, "I never really thought about it. I always get the feeling the war will never end." He scratched his head, "Children wouldn't be a bad idea."
He goes over to Ravi and wraps his arms around his neck, "Besides, I'll figure that out once I crossed that road." He looked over to the bowl of curry on his side of the table. He could see the steam escaping the contents. He narrowed his eyes slightly.
"I figured you made the best curry. I never had curry before I've met you," he whispered slyfully, "I wonder where you got the recipe. I know you did a lot of traveling in the past. Where did you get the recipe from?"
He playfully slides his hand onto Ravi's leg, hoping to get some sort of reaction.

The dying sun's red light permeated through the rice paper screens as dusk arrived. The air was warm and scented with lemongrass and the sea. Everything seemed calmier and quite.
"In honesty. I don't quite like children, but I am sure there are so many orphans about we could adopt one or two...no one should grow up with out parents." Ravi said stirring the curry. "The war will end. I just know it, eventually Avatar will have the balls to do so." Ravi added on simply as he took another bite of his curry.
He didn't have much faith in the milartary or in the Avatar for that matter. He cared little for the war or the men the died bravely. It was't like he was calloused about it. It just never hit home. Except for Phirun...whom probably be dead now."
At Tsu's teasing touch Ravi gave a sultry grin and lick his lips. "Im not teeeelllling you," He sang getting up to seal a kiss. "It's a sword dancer's secret."
