Name: Suk
Age: 14
Gender: Male
Group: Citizen
Nation: Earth Kingdom
Bender?: Earth Bender
Physical Appearance: Suk is a healthy Young slim guy with a good smile. Working out every day, he has a good build. He has long Auburn hair (goes 4 inches past his shoulders), copper eyes, and is about 5.5 feet tall. Suk washes his hair every 3 days and when he wakes up, he wets it and straightens it. As you examine Suk from head to toe, you would notice some bruises. These bruises has gotten there from practicing his earth-bending over the years. Suk just likes to think that because when he does something stupid (like say something really dumb at one of the war meetings), he gets a earth-bending beating when he gets home. That was only in his earlier years though, before 10 years old. The bruises that he gets as a consequence are on his behind and no-one knows what they look like there. I'm sure they just fade out in a couple of weeks. Just looking at him, you wouldn't see any bruises though because they are hardly noticeable, the bruises he gets from his earth-bending incidents would just look like a little more faded part of the skin. He hasn't made any mistakes earth-bending in a couple of years because he is well aware of how to earth-bend now.
His father says he looks like his mother but Suk couldn't agree because he never before looked into water to compare him and anyone else. His skin is lighter than Deep Saffron and darker than Saffron. Suk's hair
Suk's legs are longer than the rest of his body but you wouldn't say that they are thick. The legs would aid other people's ideas about him looking slim because even though they are pretty stiff when he wants them too, they don't flex that much.
Suk's arms are a kind of different story. People look at Suk and think he works out often because he can flex his arms into a bulge but they are not big enough for people to want to run away from him. His arms look normal unless he is earth-bending. Earth-bending requires him to concentrate on his muscles when moving big masses of earth.
Suk's chest is pretty slim by themselves but when he is earth-bending, you can see a 6-pack appearing but he hasn't got a 6-pack abs yet.
His feet are normally dirty since he doesn't wear shoes so each day, he picks his toe-nails with earth-bending. Just bend all the soil out of his toes.
Suk's fingers are pretty normal. They aid his perspective on looking slim. They are the same length of the palm of his hand. Suk's thumb is a hitchhikers thumb and he found that while earth-bending, he can bend his thumb back to add powerful vibrations to rock that can be powerful enough to make the rock shatter. He found this move one day when he was practicing in his backyard.
Clothing/Armor: Suk has a amber cloth short martial robe with green lining. This does not have a collar. As you might think that robes go past your knees, this robe only goes to Suki's hips. The pocket is on the right side of the robe located between the middle lining and the right side of his body about 4 inches from the bottom lining. The bottom two sides part just where the legs part and then overlap with a copper colored cloth belt tightened at his waist keeping both sides of the robe together.
The belt is cloth just like the robe is with no lining. It stretches around his waist and in the back clips together really tight.
Suk has russet colored cloth leggings. The robe hangs over the leggings where it is not tucked in. These leggings have no pockets and it is basically the same color all the way down. As you know that Suk is still growing, he wants to last those pants the rest of his life so they are a little baggy at the end. Suk wants to last those pants the rest of his life because they are the best pants that he found for combat in town, they are very flexible with his surroundings as they can be stretched a couple of inches before being ripped. These leggings have been ripped two times though, both roaming the streets of Ba Sen Se, people just want to take your money. One of the rips is on the right shin and the other one is on his left calf, they were sewed up though.
His seal brown gloves that go to the knuckles are just to keep him warm. He doesn't wear any boots and goes bear-foot since earth-benders going bear-foot aid their earth-bending.
Suk also has two lightweight rock bracers(bracelets)and a hair band to keep the hair out of his face. This hair-band is a simple piece of cloth about three feet long that goes along his forehead and ties in the back and hangs behind his head.
Weapons: Suk's favorite weapon though is his rock bracers, he can use his earth-bending on his rock bracers even when there is no earth around. If Suk is ever stuck in a fire nation jail, he can just make himself dirty with his rock bracers by bending them to dust so the guards won't know he's there. Then he would bend them into a boulder and smash away at the bars. These also would be great for quick strikes or quick handcuffs. These bracers are very lightweight and it's only called rock bracers because it is condensed soil. Suk hardly notices that he has those bracers on at times because they are so light, it is only about a centimeter thick and two inches long too.
Personality: Although no one gets Suki's sense of humor, he laughs at it all the time. People think he's weird because he is laughing all the time but he just can't help but entertaining himself. This is the reason why he didn't want to join the military, they want you to be the serious type of person. Suk just wants to play his life out the best he can. He is smart but not smart enough to avoid making his dumb comments, likes a good fight, and more independent than dependent because he is left home all the time. If he ever had to separate from his dad, Suk wouldn't care that much, he loves his father but his mother was always the one taking care of him. Suk gotten so used to being so independent that he could probably find some other way to survive not being at home.
With this ability to bend earth, this just sparks Suk's creativity. Suk likes building his own objects like buildings, weapons, and tanks in his backyard. There is plenty of fun places to practice earth-bending. Once Suk made a big tunnel underground and decorated it but when Pachuki came back, he wasn't very happy. Pachuki didn't want a sinkhole so Suk had to spend a couple of hours filling the cave again.
Suk is exited for his freelance life and can't wait to go on with training. He also gets exited when it is time for Pachuki to come home so he can show his father his skills.
The world makes Suk angry but what can he do about it? Earth kingdom turns against itself, air nomads are gone, and the water tribes can't help each-other. Everything seems to be the fire nation's fault.
Suk likes a lot of things. He likes earth-bending, creativity, food, his family, his friends, girls, and entertainment. Suk doesn't like the fire nation, spiders, anything grosser than dissecting animals, people not agreeing with him, really spicy foods, and pickles.
Nothing makes Suk sad unless he disappointed his father and nothing makes him more happy than knowing he achieved something great.
Other than his life in the city, Suk wants to be known to the world as a victor over the fire nation. Suk wants the fire nation to fear him enough to have to send their strongest assassins against him. Of course he will never achieve this without any help...
Background: Suk is an only child of Pachuki and Chorcu. Pachuki is his father and Chorcu is his mother. As a matter of wealthiness, Suki's family is a bit average on the wealthy chart with most average people better off then they are.
They peacefully live in Kei Lan.
His mom practiced earth-bending with the best teacher in town because she had the better job than Pachuki. She was a very successful trades-person. She buys all the goods that their little village produces and ships them off to Ba Sen Se and other earth kingdom cities. There is lads in her city that volunteer to take the trip to transport the goods to these cities. Overall, each trip, they make 50% of Chorcu's profit. His dad, Pachuki, stood guard as a Earth Kingdom soldier for the village. Pachuki was sent on weekly missions to take out fire nation camps with a band of 4 other earth-benders. He also serves as a escort for Chorku's deliveries, she uses wagons to deliver the supplies. Dad isn't home often and when he is, Suk is very glad to have his dad back home. Suk has fun with his weekly practices with his dad.
Suk was 12 when Pachuki brought him on his first mission. This mission involved taking out a fire nation camp that was in the way of one of Churku's deliveries. Suk likes to fight because life is fighting to survive and why not have fun doing it? Wouldn't it be fun if no-one would want to mess with you?
This city has a good education system but his parents would rather just teach him everything they know about life. They taught him how to earn a living around the village working for people and how to count and many more things. Growing up, Suk didn't really have much friends but the friends he had were really good friends. Most of them are neighbors and from Suki's part of the village. Since age 9, Suk and his friends really enjoy fighting tournaments. Pachuki takes the kids out into the woods, make a big circle shaped stadium in a clearing, and judges for a tournament that the kids enjoy. The tournaments involve a ring. The only rules to these tournaments is whatever Pachuki says, goes, and no-body does anything cruel, and if you get knocked out of the ring, you lose. This is only on weekends though, Pachuki is always on guard duty during the week. Pachuki is a powerful earth-bender but Suk believes he will become even a greater master. Suk's mother, Churku, has always taken care of him. Kissing him goodnight and tidying up the house even when Suk makes a total disaster. If Pachuki gets super fired up about something, Churku is always there to cool him down. She is the most loving mother in the world in Suk's mind.
At the moment, Churku is in Ba Seng Se meeting her parents. She is coming back in a couple months. She left 2 years ago. If she went to see us right now, that trip would be her going by herself so she has decided to wait for the next caravan that works for her to deliver something to Ba Seng Se then she will be heading back.
The only relatives Suk knows is his Grandmas and Grandpas, Niran and Ratana are on Dad's side, Pravat and Solada are on Mom's side. There wasn't really any important events in his life and that's why he wants to one day leave that place and seek some events.
Since Chorku has been gone, Suk has been recieving gifts from Pachuki. He has been growing really close to his father and especially now when his mother was gone, his father has lots of responsibilities. When his dad gets home, there is a list of chores that Suk has to do in order to be able to have any fun at all. Things like painting the house and making sure the lawn doesn't get too long. After that though him and his dad have a great time together. We keep in touch with Chorku though. As mail goes, it takes a week to get it to her but how we do it is we give it to the person in the next caravan to Ba Seng Se and they hand it to the Government Officials so they would take care of it.
Across the lonesome street, there is neibors named Corstu and Tachia. They are about 65 years old. When Pachuki gets really mad, Tachia comes over and either acts sternly if someone might get hurt or calmly if he's just over-reacting. With Chorcu's business, Corstu offered to manage it for that time when she is gone so it would be in good shape when she comes back. What Corstu has been doing was sending caravans on new routes while Chorcu is still in Ba Seng Se.
Sample RP:
It was a sunny day in the forest of the Earth Kingdom. Suk, Pachuki, and 3 other guys were scouting out the pathway to make sure the caravan can have a safe trip.
"Does any of you have any idea what that plume of smoke up there could resemble?" said Tylah, one of the guys in the group.
"There is only one thing that could resemble that." Pachuki said, "and you all know what that is."
So Suk responded with, "Fire nation?"
"Yes." Pachuki explained. "I thought we already gone over this, Fire nation camps are all over this area and that is why we are scouting out, to take out any camp we come across. Now we are going to have to take these guys out by surprise. Guys, spread out, the clearing is just ahead. Attack on my signal."
Everyone except Tylah and Corman is an earth-bender. Suk, Pachuki, and Cha'toc, are all benders.
Pachuki gave his signal, his hand balled up in a fist and punched upward signaling a charge.
Suk stomped the ground with his right foot forcing a mass of rock upward and then he slammed it with his fists sending it spiraling through the bushes. On the other side, Suk heard a thump and screaming. He hit a fire nation soldier and sent him flying backward.
There is now battle cries, and combat raging all around him. This brawl to take the camp has now started.
