I have been curious about this RP for a while, but have never had the desire to join an Avatar RP until recently. This appears to be the most active site on the map. However, in the Northern Water Tribe it looks as though the last post was made five months ago in March. Are their any active Northern tribesmen?
Also, I need to know if any of the three cities Kei Lan, Zhy, or Tachi Dai is located on the upper northeastern coastline of the Earth Kingdom.
My last question pertains to sample posts. Most RPs I've played at have no issues with allowing a sample post to be reused from a past RP, with a completely different character in another world. As Feng Shui seems a little deviant from mainstream RPs (understandable, as the subject material draws a younger and less experienced crowd), I thought I'd be polite and ask about your policies on this subject.

Activity is kinda sparse. We tend to have people join.. and then post once.. and then vanish. Thats why we have our bi-monthy (Or whenever Rairii and I get the itch and start to complain) genocide of deleting of the inactive members. So, it's totally possible that the North Pole isn't too active right now.
That's why we need people like you to make it active! We do however, a good strong core of players who are on almost every day.
I've got no clue where those cities are located. It would be a good idea to pinpoint these cities on a map. I'll talk to Xia about it and maybe we make up a map.
As for the Sample RPs, you do need to give us a brand new Avatar RP wih your character. We do this so that people simply don't copy and paste other people's RPs, or use a really old.. really outdated one that may not show their true skills. It's only 150 words, not bad at all. I could whip it out in five minutes easily.. course I've been doing this for 9 years

Quit bragging, Jia, we can't all do 150 words in 5 minutes  (Of course, my obsessive compulsive search for spelling and grammar errors may be part of the reason it takes me so long >.> Hm... ) Anyway, I think a map would be a good idea. It would provide a good visual for all those RPing. |

Yes Yes. A Map is an excellent Idea. We know where a few cities are located (Fire Nation Capitial.. Omashu, Ba Sing Se)..but we need to decide where the others are.

Yes, I know those disappearing-act woes well! It's an issue for all RPs. Hm... the activity within the Northern Water Tribe shouldn't bring trouble for my character if he is accepted as I present him. Is this site generally more active in the summer or from September to June?
Good to know a map is in the works. I'll join after that has been finished, so that I can place my character. If nothing ends up being in the mountainous/coastal region of the northeastern Earth Kingdom, does current policy allow the "creation" of misc. towns and such in the Wilderness portion of the site?
Okay, creating a new sample won't be a problem. Question: Is 150 words a limit to test the prowess of the RPer, to see if they can keep themselves to a mark, or are samples allowed to be longer?

Activity during summer vs. school months? I dunno myself, and I doubt we'd have an accurate guess considering Feng Shi is only beginning to near it's 1st birthday (I think?).
Yeah.. a map might be done in the future.
150 is the minium. You are welcomed, and encouraged to push that! We seek Quality, Not Quantity.

Thank you for this information.
I like the new skin, by the way, and it piqued my curiosity once more. Have you placed any of the cities since the change? I am eager to join my character and think that the effort going into this site is fantastic! I really hope this RP stays alive - at least until the end of the series, if not beyond.
