I sugggest that the forum for the city of Ba Seng Sei be broken down into seperate forums itself, due to the nature of the city itself in the show.

Outer Wall
Inner Wall
Train Station (can also be used for 'on the train' threads)
Lower District (poor people)
Middle District (comercial district)
Higher District (rulers and important people)

And I also suggest that the type of guards used in the show be encouraged as new characters, as I'm sure they will become popular. What were they called, 'Li Dai' or something? We need some of those.

I know this is an extreme breakdown, but in general, Ba Seng Sei, IMHO is a big enough city to warrant it. It also allows us to be realistic as is consistent with the policy in these forums. I hope this is taken in a good way and not a bad one.

Keep in mind Gandy we've only had two episodes about Ba Sing Sei so we're still lacking a lot more information we could use about the city's dynamics, structure, locations and governing personnel, etc.

And I don't think we have that many people in, and going to be in, Ba Sing Sei to warrant such a spilt. Besides we can always state our location in the city at the top of the post. Maybe your outline of the city can be used as a sticky for a reminder of the city's setup.

As for the Dai Li, they're all earthbenders so that can't be encouraged at the moment. Though I'm sure it's possible to make characters working under the authority of them.

In fact is it me or does it seem that anyone with a position and is an earthbender wears dark green while those who don't seem to wear a faded, yellowish green clothing?

Since this place is somewhat of an AU (alternate universe) now, as the show moves at a faster clip than we do, adjustments probably should be made to properly fit, partially fit, and slightly not fit, with the show's context.

Gandy - When we get people actually playing in Ba Seng Si.. we'll see about details like this I'm sure. We don't have enough activity in Ba Seng Sei to even warrant rings, let alone Dai Li.
