New Year's Fight! Hmmm...

Soooo… this thing called New Year’s is coming up…

What say we try and start it off with a fight?

Not anything big, mind you, just a skirmish. Something that’ll hopefully take about one to three weeks to complete at most provided the participating posters could dole out at least one post every two to three days if all goes well on their end.

No since in having a fifteen-minute to an hour-long fight last an entire RL year now, right?

And since this will be a skirmish and not a large battle, players will have the chance of directly fighting one another. Interesting, huh huh? ^^ Heck, we can even allow some reasonable and fair player killings too while we’re at it. >=)

So who’s in on this? At least three people who are definitely interested in this endeavor. It’ll give us a two-on-two base before we add on other players.

And then we can work out some concrete details like location, land or sea combat, same or different units on either side, any or all benders, etc.

Oh! and for those not in know: you can create a temporary use RP character for these sort of events.

Definitely something I'd wanna be in on. Senseless violence was the whole reason I created Iikagen in the first place, and I've really had the chance to him a little.

Do you think I could pull Tomo out of a plot hole for this fight? I would love to be involved, and I think he could be a decent fighter. If not I could always make a new temp char. Would we have to go through the whole approval process again?

Mmm... hard to say. It depends on the setting's secnario and parameters. But chances are it'll be unlikely, unfortunately.

I'm not entirely certain *tries to find a RP battle in the archives* but we'll be posting and edittting temporary character profiles in a sign-up thread.

Though they may not have to be thoroughly detailed as your permanent character profile, they will be subjected to Feng Shui's standard leash laws, guidelines and regulations.

See, I've been having a very horrid writer's/poster block with Xun's RP. So over Christmas I figured I'll just time skip to the fighting portion of his mission, which involves two seperate battles.

In fact I've got a scenario and sign-up already prepared and approved by Xia sometime ago before my mental block.

*rubs hands* So if you're up for it and its okay I'll start a sign-up thread sometime soon.

Well, as soon as it is officially official that this thing is realyl happening, I will begin work on a character for it. It may sound lazy, but I don't want to go through the whole writing process and then not use the character.
