I just watched Lake Laogai on Turbonick ^^ For those who also want to watch it, go to turbonick and on the main page (not the Avatar section) click on "top rated." There you'll find a picture of little Aang (from Appa's Lost Days) as the picture you click on for the episode. There are parts (for me, at least) where it gets dark for a few seconds, but it doesn't last long.
*Spoilers start here*
I thought this was a good episode ^^ I loved the part where Iroh confronts Zuko; hopefully he'll start to reconsider what is important to him.
And Jet! I've really started to like him, so I hope he doesn't die ;_; The part where Toph tells Sokka they were lying... Also, is that guy who burned Jet's village the leader of the Rough Rhinos? Obviously, that must have some importance... will Jet meet up with him again?

>> Um. Kura. The impression I got was that Longshot and Smellerbee didn't want Jet to suffer... and it kind of looked like Lonshot was going to shoot him ;;>>
But, yes, I do believe that guy was the leader of the Rough Rhinos. And what about widdle Jet? o.o OMGosh! Dah Cuteness!! And Longshot talked! ^.^
Oh! And Zuko-kun! This is really going to be interesting now.... Seeing what Zuko's going to do with his destiny. Wow...
Iroh has his own tea shop! xD

Omigosh, that was so awesome. I loved how when Sokka suggested Katara kiss Jet (which was completely weird, by the way), Aang was like, "Yeah, bad idea." And he had this pouty look on his lips. Hehe, Aang's jealous.
And did you see all of those JU DI (sp?) ?!!? There was an army!! And I agree, Midori. It looked like Longshot was going to shoot Jet to put him out of his misery. And poor Katara! Oh, and Katara was awesome! The minute she heard Jet's voice! BOOM, VROOM, CHOING (supposed to be sounds of water and ice and metal...heh)!!! ^^; And she was like, "I'm keeping an eye on you. -point point-"
And yes, about time Zuko gave up on Aang! I was scared that Zuko would get all crazy obsessive again. -sigh- Intense. I teared up at the end with Katara. Poor Jet. He was adorable though as a kid. Poor Jet. T_T

I thought Longshot would kill Jet too.. but he never turns his arrow towards Jet. He's facing towards the door, he's guarding Jet and Smeller Bee.
I bet Jet'll return. We may not see him till the end of Season 3.. but he'll be back and he'll be okay. Maybe worse for wear.. but he'll be okay. Promise!

I can't say I've ever enjoyed an episode more. Long Feng is revealing himself to be more and more sinister as the season goes on. Something tells me the Earth King is likely uder his hypnotic suggestion as well. Zuko's finally starting to face the facts that he's not going to be embraced by his father, Avatar or no. It was also pretty coold to see him don the Blue Spirit mask once more, though it was sad that this'll be the last time. I loved how he tricked that Dai Li agent in the street ("Move over, skinny!"). Heh, and Iroh's giving Zuko quite the helping hand in realizing that his destiny is his own to decide. Toph was pretty funny this ep too. "Looks just like him to me...*snicker*" "Yeah! Let's break some rules!" *blasts out wall of the house* "Was he your boyfriend? .......I can tell you're lying!" "We're finally leaving Ba Sing Sei! Worst. City. Ever!" Not to mention that her earthbending was amazing in the final battle. It was pretty cool to get confirmation that Jet really was sincere in turning over a new leaf. It was also nice to see Longshot and Smellerbee again, as well as what may be the last hook sword action the series will know .... I don't know if he's dead or not, but it's hard to think he'd be able to withstand his torso being crushed. And longshot could talk.... who saw that coming?! And last but not least, we have Appa. His reunion with the Gaang was quite cool. He completely pwned Long Feng; basically turned him into a skipping stone. Anywho, I'm glad they're all back together, but it still leaves a big question mark as to how things will play out from here. Will they just barge in on the Earth King now that they know the extent of Long Feng's trickery? Will they continue to wait out their month in the city? Or will they just simply leave and pursue another course of action? Idunno, but I can't wait to find out. ;D

You know.. I think One of the reasons why Toph keeps joking about her blindness is because the Aang Gang treats her like she isn't blind and she's enjoying it so much but also isn't used to it.

Yeah, I've thought about that too. And when the Gaang finally meets up with Appa outside Lake Laogi, I cried when Aang hugged Appa and was like, "I missed you, boy". It was soooooo sad/happy!! I'm so glad Appa is back. -hugs appa fan doll-

I thought this eo was awesome, Toph is so far still at the top of the food chain, love the blind jokes, Ive been waiting for Iroh to knock some sense into Zuko, he should keep his hair that length it looks cool. The Earthbending in this episode was incredible, Aang is almost as good as Toph all he needs to master now is fire. Long Feng went skipping across the lake ;D

You know.. I think One of the reasons why Toph keeps joking about her blindness is because the Aang Gang treats her like she isn't blind and she's enjoying it so much but also isn't used to it. Or it could be her way of letting the Gaang know that she's fine with it, and that, to her, it's not really a handicap. I think she's somewhat sensitive about it (such as when she protested that she was able to put up the posters), but tries to cover that up by turning the situation into a joke. And about Longshot shooting Jet to put him out of his misery... I thought that at first, but it looked like he was preparing himself in case someone were to come attack them. I don't think Jet's going to die just yet... my reasoning is that they wouldn't have shown us who attacked his village for nothing. There has to be some closure for Jet. I'm wondering why all the women being hypnotized or whatever are named Joo Dee. Does the name have any significance, or all they all given the same name to take away their identity or something?

I loved the eppy. DEFINATELY my favorite so far. But...
The Dai Lee leader dude is probably dead, so will Ba Seng Se be un-untopian? If so, then maybe Iroh and Zuko won't get their tea shop T-T I dunno, but I REALLY want to see the next one now x.x

Long Feng is alive they fight him in the nexy ep. I feel sorry for all the Joo Dee ladies, I get the feeling they aren't there voluntarily, LongShot wasn't aiming at Jet, he was aiming at the door they originally came through, I LOVED the bending in this episode, the DAi Lee rock I hope they arent evil by the end, It was awesome when they ran up the wall and launched the earth, once again the main characters were overly powerful, I thought for sure that the Dai Lee and Long Feng would stand a much better chance then that.

*Spoilers away*
Me I was hopin' Jet would bite the bullet when he took that hit. >=)
*is suddenly bludgeoned*
And I agree with Naru, it's like the Dai Li and Long Fei suffered from the Inverse Ninja Effectiveness. oO
And now we got what? Three eps of the season left so most definetly they'll be seeing the king eventually while Long Fei plays catch-up.
Then again I could be wrong.

Well, according to spoilers, the episode after Lake Laogai is titled the Earth King... if this is true, then we'll most likely see him then.

Well, according to spoilers, the episode after Lake Laogai is titled the Earth King... if this is true, then we'll most likely see him then. Makes sense. Like I said before, after the fight with Long Feng, the Gaang is pretty much the enemy of the city. So the smartest thing to do would be to find the Earth King before Long Feng can notify the city's guards and armed forces to attack them. I can imagine Aang or Toph blasting a hole through the wall of the Earth King's private chambers and having the hole group "just pop in" on him. ;D
