Tophs hair was really funny i never realised she had so much, and poor Momo, Sokka really IS a ladies man, and ZUKO LIKES A GIRL I suspect the thought may have crossed her mind that he might be a firebender but if she didn't its possible she would be crushed if she found out

But if the war is never mentioned in ba Sing Sei, maybe the townspeople's hate for Firebenders isn't quite as strong?
I also loved the scene with Toph's "uber-fro," as I so aptly called it. The scene with the ladies scrubbing her feet also reminded me of Dumb and Dumber. ;D
The whole episode showed some great character interaction. Iroh's was very nicely done, and showed a cool game of what I'd call "Earthbending Ball." Though I could have sworn the voice actor changed when he was telling the kids it would be best to apologize. I also liked the tribute to Mako at the end.
Aang's was mildly amuzing and fun to see all the interesting animals, while Sokka's wasjust hilarious. "That's one too many syllables, pal..." *tossed out the building*
Zuko's was probably the most interesting out of the all. It was a chance to see such a formiddable character in a position where he had absolutely no experience. Hehe, his awkwardness was hilarious, and I loved that he confused Jen's initial attention for her discovering their secret.
All in all, a good episode. The plot didn't really move along, but I suppose they need a way to show what everyone was doing in the month between their audience with the King. I'd rather have seen this than just a simple time skip. Though I was kinda hoping for a little update on Jet and the Feredom Fighters too.

My feel:
Toph and Katara's: Cute yet a cop out. It's like they took the "since they're girls let's have them get pretty" route. They could've done better. Toph's hair... is oddly reminiscent of mine after a shower and a night's rest. Except she doesn't seem to have all the kinkiness in hers. Yet she only has a lil' bit more hair than me.
Iroh's: Excellent. A tad close to home. And for some reason he reminds me of my gramps.
Aang's: Cute and character building with that whole becoming Avatar thing.
Sokka's: To close to home! Yet still hilarious. XD Yes I've jumped officially and unofficially into poetry sessions and classes because of the women. XD What made the whole Sokka being thrown out even funnier (to me) is that big dude had a pink trim in his outfit! XD
Zuko's: Pretty much hit home! with a few reversals in my experiences. The kid's actually lightening up a bit. o.O *shudders about the thought of Zuko fangirls after watching that*
Momo's: Aaawwwwwwwwww *sniffle* On the other hand... I still wonder how lemur tastes! >>

Katara and Toph: Katara looks REALLLY pretty with make-up, but I would prefer Toph without make-up. In the first eps with Toph, Katara and her didn't really get a long, but now they are having a girl's day out ^^
Iroh: T.T Mako was such a good actor. Why did he have to die?!?! This will change ATLA forever. I liked how the creators weaved in "In Honor of Mako" of Iroh's Tale. It was fitting and make me feel sad. The singing voice of Mako is not half bad, either. Will Mako's voice be heard in the next episode? If not, who's voice will be?
Aang: It was a bit boring to me... I don't like Aang that much. Wow, he made all the animals in a zoo happy by setting them out and causing injuries to dozens of citizens.
Sokka: haha, that was awesome. Who knew Sokka could make up Hiaku's on the spot? They were kind of lame, but whever. The girl who didn't like Sokka was vereh cool =]
Zuko: Awesome =) I'm glad Zuko found a girl, but he SHOULD have left his angsty side at home and just went out for some fun =) Jen seems nice and hopefully this take will continue. (No, I'm not doing Zuko x Jen YET.)
Momo: T.T Again, sad. Momo and Appa seemed close. Those cat panther things were MEAN. BACK OFF. Oh, and momo is an awesome dancer xD

Katara and Toph; Hehe, never mess with a couple of bender's like those two. I was suprised on how much hair Toph had. O.o
Iroh; "Dang, he's so wise!" *coughmydadcough* Well, he's reaeaaallly wise if you ask me too. He's awesome. ^^ But the Mako part made me sad. T_T Waah...
Aang; No comment here. -.-
Sokka; You shoulda seen me when I was watching. I was counting every single syllable in their haikus. XD Hilarious how he was ONE syllable too long and they kicked him out for that.
Zuko; Dude, I was having a tingling feeling that the fangirls would flip or something when they see the eppy. O.O *Hides under the table*
Momo; Aww... so sad... T_T But the mom dancing part made me crack up.

It was a great episode. I really loved it. ^_^ Toph and Katara- Nice to see the both of them getting along better. Poor Toph didn't want her feet scrubbed, I do like the way her hair was done. Heh, served those girls right in the end. Iroh- Probably the best tale out of the bunch. Iroh was just plain awesome when he helped out some of the people in Ba Seng Sei. I literally said "Iroh, you're a fountain of knowledge." The ending of the scene was beautifully done. It really made me said and the fact that it had "In honor of Mako" at the end was really touching. Aang- Wasn't quite expecting Aang to herd around zoo. It was fun to see though Interesting animals, I liked the Rabbiroo (or whatever it was called). The cabbage man returned. XD Sokka- Man that was cool. A haiku off, that's just awesome. I've been trying to think up haikus today because of that. ^_^; It was funny when he got kicked out for going over a syllable. Zuko- Ah yes, the tale I've been waiting for. Jin (not sure of spelling) was a sweet girl. I was impressed with Zuko's performance, he didn't better than I thought he would but was still goofy in the process. Also he is a terrible liar (part of a traveling circus? XD) It was sweet how he lit the torches at the fountain and actually kissed Jin. He actually said he had a nice time when he came back to Iroh. ^^ There are massive ship problems going a t DH now because of it. Momo- Aww, that was sad. Momo tried so hard to find Appa. It was amusing to see him dance though. I wonder when they will find Appa... Overall a great episode, I really enjoyed seeing it. ^_^

Yay for Zuko... how come my Uncle's not like Iroh? I could use an Iroh around the house... ;D
Momo was my favorite, then Zuko, then Iroh, then Katoph (NOT A PAIRING), then Sokka, and last, Aang. It was a funny episode. ;D

Yes, Iroh's voice changed from actor to actor.
I'd vote his as my favorite. I cried. My best friend saw it twice and cried both times.
I accutally liked Katara and Toph's. A bit cliche, maybe, but so was Zuko's, which was okay. But it really showed their relationship and how sensitive Toph can be. It was really sweet.
Aang and Sokka's were nice, but not that special. Zuko was funny in the fact that he was very awkward, and Jen wasn't really MS, but she felt really flat so she didn't strike me as awesome. I don't think they'll do much with her again, but it was kinda nice for Zuko to get a little love. I guess.

Liked this episode. As much as I love plot, it's nice to see something character-centric, ya know?
Katara and Toph: It's nice to see them bonding. I love Toph's huge hair.
Iroh: I nearly cried at the end. Seriously (the whole Iroh helping people, and Lu Ten's b-day, and the song...). The tribute to Mako...wow... On a lighter note, is it just me, or was Lu Ten rather good-looking? >.>
Aang: His was cute, but probably my least favorite. Don't know why; I guess it just didn't "grab" me...
Sokka: His made me laugh. Gotta love Sokka in a "poetry battle."
Zuko: I think I liked Zuko's best. His was a good amount of character development, while still being extremely entertaining. I like Jin; she's pretty bold (I could've never just walked up to him and ask him out, girl's got guts). I like how Zuko was put in an entirely different situation: being a normal teenager. Yet he was still in-character.
Momo: Aww, Momo misses his buddy. Very sweet. But I'm wondering; would a guy really sell a rare lemur to a butcher? Couldn't you make more money off of a nearly extinct species somewhere else?
All in all, good episode.

When I first watched this episode, I didn't like it. I thought a few parts were good and that was it. However, I just watched it again on youtube and I liked it better this time.
Katara and Toph - Great to see them bonding, but I'm not a fan of their makeup >.> They look better without it, in my opinion.
Iroh - I cried, and I don't do that often. As soon as I saw "In honor of Mako" I couldn't help it. And then I cried again when I watched it on youtube, only this time when he started singing Soldier Boy. And when Iroh began to lose it... *sob* ;_;
Anyway, we got to see Lu Ten! And I'm almost positive that was Iroh's new VA during the window scene. It wasn't that bad, but... it's not Mako ;_;
*moving on before she starts crying again* >.>
Aang - It's kind of nice to see that he's still a playful kid, even after things have been getting really serious lately. I don't think I've seen this side of him in a while. Also, that was some nice earthbending he did ^^
Sokka - I honestly hated this one the first time I watched it (except for the Haiku lady, because she rocks! *is now officially in love with a minor character*). The second time was better, and Sokka's haikus were kind of funny *cough*buthaikuladywasbetter*cough*
Zuko - I love how he thought Jin suspected them in the beginning XD And the awkwardness of the date was great; Zuko saying she eats a lot for a girl cracked me up, and I loved her reaction, mostly because it's what anyone would say *can relate*
As for the scene where Zuko lit the torches, I know a lot of people on DH are saying it's really OOC for Zuko, not to mention stupid for firebending in public. I think he was just caught up in the moment, and didn't want to see someone so upbeat be sad. Also, I don't think she really suspects anything... she probably just thinks it's something he learned while in the circus XD
When Zuko told Iroh it was nice, I inwardly squealed ^^
Momo - It's great how Momo wasn't left out, and the bond he had with Appa is sweet. It also seemed very appropriate for the episode to end with Momo curled up in Appa's footprint - it actually tied in with the plot.
I think my favorite tale would have to be Zuko's, simply for the awkwardness of the date. Plus I thought Jin was cute. However, Iroh is a really close second.
*watches Iroh sing about Lu Ten again*

The second time was better, and Sokka's haikus were kind of funny *cough*buthaikuladywasbetter*cough* Yeah the haiku lady/teacher sounded much better mainly due well, more than likely, long time experience with it. That and she used themes normally used in haikus-- nature and seasons. A thing people often forget or ignore we they decide to do haikus for some reason or another. And she executed them amazing each time. Though I do admire Sokka's street-level and freestyle use of it. ^^: Even though I'm not a Zuko lover what he did didn't seem OOC. Not only was he just caught up in the moment but he's a man *cough cough* more or less. FEW men *cough*nomatterhowmuchweadmitit*cough* can resist greatly resist the face of a genuinely upset/sadden woman. Even one we've just met and will sometimes do what we can to change that. And if anyone asks... << You NEVER heard it from me!*hides in the shadows*

I suppose i should organize my thoughts a little better so here goes.
Katara & Toph: Nice to see them getting along, HOW DOES TOPH FIT ALL THAT HAIR IN A BUN?! And I knew she couldn't be THAT tough shes just like everyone else on the inside
Iroh: Earthbending Soccer looks cool (reminds me of Shaolin Soccer XD) Iroh realliy is the nicest Fire nAtion guy youd ever wanna meet, It was hilarious how he was giving that guy tips on how to mug him, Lu Ten seems really cool poor Iroh and I did notice that different voice during the Soccer game but they DID finish recording for season 2 before he died so if we have anyone knew we wont hear him much till season 3
Aang: Dont get me wrong Aang is an awesome character but his just seemed to illustrate his new Earthbending skills and love for animals, entertaining though
Sokka: his take on Haikus seems like the beginning of rap in the avatar world, it was funny to watch but seemed like it was just trying to take up some time not really a significant tale
Zuko: I was thinking the same thing after my post Aden, she ,might not mind so much if hes fire nation but this was a very nice short story it showed a little more of Zuko's new skill of firebending I keep talking about, and he is indeed a guy with a heart Jin seemed very nice for him and he likes her. If it were me I would have done anything for her
Momo: You never really realize how close Momo and Appa are as some of the last of there kind till now they really are good friends and Momo cares deeply for Appa it was very sad but the Pygmy Pumas were cool, poor Momo he feels just as bad as Aang
I liked this epi very much, I KNEW AANG SHAVED (what would he look like with hair 0.o , propably not that bad) Ive enjoyed many episodes this season because we see Aang in different clothes he really should change them more often, I wanna see him with a full head of hair and civillian clothes, anyways Im glad the gang is enjoying their time in Ba Seng Se

I also though Jen was Jin;;>> It probably was >.> If I remember, I had trouble distinguishing that word ^^; And I'm pretty sure it's Jin. But then again, I'm one of those who think Mai should be spelled Mei *shrug* Sokka - I honestly hated this one the first time I watched it (except for the Haiku lady, because she rocks! *is now officially in love with a minor character*). The second time was better, and Sokka's haikus were kind of funny *cough*buthaikuladywasbetter*cough* Yeah the haiku lady/teacher sounded much better mainly due well, more than likely, long time experience with it. And she executed them amazing each time. Though I do admire Sokka's street-level and freestyle use of it. ^^: Yes, I realize she would have had much more experience than Sokka, who has, well, no prior experience ^^; I got the impression that she was an instructor there. Sokka's rap-haikus were interesting, but the fact that the woman used the proper form for haikus was amazing (to me). Not only did she have the kigo, but also the break ^^ *is totally inspired to write haikus now*.....*even though they will most likely suck*
