Wow... this was just an AMAZING episode... very fitting since its the last for a while. So many great characters come back and SO... MUCH....AMAZING...... BENDING!!!! Seriously... the creativity of the writers and the talent of the animators knows NO bounds. And the conclusion was QUITE satisfying. (thats a HUGE understatement) Plus I love Aangs Air Nomad Robes.
So I just want to say
Good bye Avatar... if only for a while.

Highlight the text below to read, please. I didn't edit Naru's post because it wasn't very specific.
Yes, I agree. Aang's new duds were pretty cool. But I digress.
Oh my god, that was epic. Even though I read spoilers far beforehand, to see it all animated and played out was...well, it can be summed up in one word; 'wow'. Even though the series is now at an end, I'm glad it ended well. Very well.
Who could have guessed Pakku, Jeong Jeong, and Bumi were also part of the White Lotus society? I certainly didn't. The five of them all kicked butt in reclaiming Ba Sing Sei. Piandao proved nonbenders could pwn as easily as any bender, and had no idea Jeong Jeong could fly like Ozai and Azula (what was with all the flying firebenders that episode anyway? Maybe it had to do with boosted abilities?).
*huggles his new eel hound*
One complaint I had was this; what was up with Katara during the Zuko/Azula Agni Kai? To me, it almost seemed to be like a typical Zutara fanfic (regarding how helpless Katara apparently became), minus the fact that Zuko didn't wind up saving her. Then again, there weren't any discernable bodies of water in the area, so I can understand that much. Plus, I can see how she'd be a bit overwhelmed considering Azula's powers were amplified and hers were not. Maybe I'm just crazy. =p
Spiritbending, eh? Pretty interesting. It makes me wonder if he can use the ability to give someone the capacity to bend, as well as a specific type of bending. By that, I mean he may be able give a small population of people the ability to airbend and build a new race of Air Nomads. <_< Wishful thinking on my part, but you never know. Balance is supposed to be restored to the world somehow, right? How can there be balance without airbenders?
In short, I was completely pleased with the entire finale, even though I'd still like to know where Ursa ran off to. Damnable unexplained secrets...

Highlight below if you want to read my thoughts please! ^^
Well, I have to say that I completely loved the finale. Though one thing didn't really agree with me.
Azula's becoming insane was sort of...odd. Like we knew that she was insane to an extent beforehand but I guess the fact that her entire life was pleasing her father, with him out of the picture sort of broke her? The Agni Kai was neat, but how Zuko managed to move quick enough to intercept the lightning is beyond me.
I loved the Ice Tracks on Katara's part, plus the moving through Ice thing leaves a lot of room to play with Waterbenders. Beings that they can basically move through glaciers now as long as they can hold their breath.
However, they didn't really close up on Azula's story. I bet she'll escape, and then the Guru will find her. Maybe even cure her madness? That leaves room to tinker as well. Who knows, maybe the Guru's plans could backfire and Azula gain power and be cured of her madness?
I didn't like how Mai and Zuko ended up together but I'll suffice. Plus, Suki and Sokka take their relationship three steps forward and then Suki just ups and leaves after they defeat the Fire Nation? I know that she's the Kyoshi Warrior Leader but she could have appointed someone else to do the job so she could stay with the GAang.
All in all it was an amazing way to end everything. Little depressed that it's over though.

To be honest, I was actually somewhat disappointed with the ending.

Oh, I adored the Finale.
Oh, I think the way Azula went mad was amazing, though a little scary. Before she was just a crazy mean bi-otch, but now she's a total nut case!
Though I agree Katara's piece in the Agni Kai was a little fanfic for my taste, but I still loved it.
And having Aang take away Ozai's bending was ten times better then killing him.
Tough, I must say i am sad to see it over I don't think it could have ended any better.
