Akemi wandered off aimlessly, letting the wind guide her. She tripped over a few rocks, but didn't care.
"...Grandma Amaya saw the airbender take off from the cliff, watching from behind him... Another story climbed into Akemi's head as she continued walking aimlessly with her eyes closed.
"...Wasn't that a great story, Akemi? I wonder whatever happened after the airbender disappeared from sight..." Akemi snapped out of her little moment when Akio's voice, the boy who was her childhood friend and her escort, came into her head. Akemi was worried about him again.
What if he was captured? What if he was killed? What if- She fell over a big rock that was in her way, she didn't notice she was still walking. Why was she worrying about him so much? Did Akemi actually have a certain feeling for Akio? Akemi felt herself smack herself in the face.
Don't be asking those questions, or thinking about that, you crazy girl! She thought to herself. She stood up and looked around, waiting for the wind to blow into her face to calm her down...

The faint golden flashes of fire-flies lit the forest of the Earth Kingdom. The full moon hung over the canopy of leaves with it's beige glow. It was such a wonderful summer night, and a large festival had just ended for the capital of the Earth Kingdom, Bai Seng Sei. "Hm, finally.. A night to myself.." She whispered to herself, as she wandered the slightly-visible pathway, listening to the quiet chirping of the crickets that were hidden in the thick green grass.
It wasn't often that she left the safety of Bai Seng Sei's walls, yet it was worth it. It was a beautiful night, and the Fire Nation hadn't showed up on their door-step, yet. Ting Ting let out a long yawn, spinning her green paper-umbrella over her head as she stopped walking along the pathway, and gazed up at the sky with an arched brow as the clouds had past over the moon, making it darker within the forest.
"Darn it.." She whispered, as she shook her head and continued along. Maybe she should head back, but a few more minutes wouldn't hurt, right? Nah, now that she thought about it.. she had been coped up in the city with her sisters a little too long.

But Akemi couldn't stop worrying about Akio. It was starting to drive her crazy, for the wind wasn't being generous as to at least blow a little gust into her face.
What if he's dead?! What will I tell Master Daiki!? How will I explain that I traveled all this way with an escort?! What if-GAH! She was so deep into her thoughts that she tripped over another rock.
"I hate these stupid rocks..." She murmered to herself. She stood back up again, then continued walking and worrying at the same time.
How will I make it back home without Akio?! Would I even be able to get that cure or herb for mother? What if those firebenders find my village and I'm too late?! What if- AGH! Yet again, another rock. Akemi was so mad she bended the rock into the air then threw it at a tree, nearly knocking it down.
"Where do these things keep coming from?!" She said angrily. She stomped her foot on the ground, making the earth shake a little and make a small crack in the ground. The wind finally blew into her face, and she calmed down.
Calm down Akemi, you're losing yourself... She thought. She continued walking on, trying not to think of Akio or her family.

Ting Ting flinched, over hearing the loud thunk! that echoed through the forest, as a rock had nearly had caught her in the face, being followed after the ground that shook uncontrollably. "What was that.." She stated as she glanced around. That defiantly wasn't an every day thing, that had to be an earth-bender and one that didn't know how to control their bending or they were mad.
"Um, hello?" She called out, before slapping a palm to her forehead. What was she thinking!? This forest probably had some Fire Nation soldiers lurking around.. she forgot again. Ting Ting muttered under her breath as her green eyes scoped her surroundings out, looking for anything out of the ordinary.. hopefully, she didn't and she was just seeing things as usual. After all, she did drink a bit at that festival.

Akemi looked up when she heard a voice. She must have alerted someone when she lost her anger and shook the earth a little.
"H-hello? Who's out there? Did I disturb or hurt you, or anything?" Akemi said, slightly embarrassed that her tempered earthbending actually got someone's attention.
Maybe this is why Master Daiki told me to keep control of my temper... She thought. She began walking toward where she heard the voice call out. But for sure Akemi was hoping it wasn't someone of the fire nation. As she walked, she still had worries of Akio and her family.
Will mother make it? What if I don't make it in time? Will I even make it in time? Heck, will I even make it back home?! Billions of worrying thoughts started clouding up Akemi's thoughts again. Akio, her mother, and her brother's voices were starting to come up here and there. Until the wind blew in her face again, calming her down. She didn't realize that she was only a few yards away from the voice that called out to the anonymous person who made the noises;mainly, Akemi.

Ting Ting blinked, staring through the darkness at a shadowed figure. "Um, it's okay!" She stated, soon slapping another palm over her mouth. She did it again! Her and her big mouth never seized to get her in trouble as usual.. maybe she should actually listen when someone says; 'shut your big mouth, idiot'. It would probably keep her out of trouble more, who knows.. Ting Ting dropped her umbrella at her side, taking a defensive stance, readying herself for an attack if it was needed. 'I swear if it is one of those soldiers..'[/b] She thought, as she shook that thought from her head and calmed down. It was probably a citizen and nothing more.[/size]

Akemi stepped out form the shadows of the trees and showed her face.
"...Sorry, I got lost and my escort did too." She looked around after she said this.
"By the way, have you seen a boy with very dark brown and messy hair and with a small dagger on his belt?" She asked, "Because we got separated from Fire Nation soldiers attacking us." Great... here comes that worrying feeling again... Her 'worrying' feeling started rising, but so did the wind, so Akemi calmed herself down. She sighed, and looked up to the stranger. The stranger had stood in a position as if she were ready to attack.
"I hope your attack isn't ment for me..." She said as her eyes widened a bit. She took a small grip on the tsuka-ito of her yato. I hope I don't have to use this... not now...not here... She thought.

Ting Ting blinked, dumbfounded as the boulder had dropped to the ground with a loud 'boom!'. "Sorry, sorry!" She said, smiling slightly. She was such an idiot.. "Um, nice to meet you.. it's getting late.." She muttered, as she scratched the back of her head and turned on her heel and started off in the other direction. She was tired, and clearly not well to be walking around after she had been drinking the night away. She knew her father was going to be very angry with her with running off in the middle of the night.. oh well, at least she had some fun with being on her own.

Akemi sighed and made a small waist leveled bow and started walking back into a random direction, back into the forest.
Well, might as well keep searching for Akio... She thought while walking. ...I hope I can find him soon and save my mother while I still can... She began softly humming a tune she had heard the story-tellers of her small village sing. She still had her hand on the tsuka-ito, and she looked down at the yato with more worries coming to her.
Please, Father... come home soon... she thought. ...I hope someone, and I mean someone can finally end this war so we can be a whole family once again... Akemi continued to softly hum the gentle tune, as she let the moon's light guide out her path through the woods. As the moon was being covered by dark clouds looming over the forest, Akemi began to slowly disappear into the wilderness...
