Fukurou came out last, grumbling about idiots driving too fast, and lots of other things as well. "Yeah Zahira, I'm here, no thanks to Bai." He glared at the twin. Probably showing off for Mrs. Feng again. Idiot. When would he grow up? It was so frustrating. He adjusted his messenger bag, and then walked over towards Zahira, a girl who, if not a 'friend', wasn't an idiot by any means.
He sighed, waiting for the other girls to get done oogling the two, or whatever it was they were going to do. Bai and Li got too much attention in the first place... why the girls here gave them any attention (because Bai or Li or both had slept with them, and weren't going to do so again) was beyond Fukurou. He sighed, and waited for them all to get done. It was just stupid things like this that wasted time and make Fukurou angry...

This was certainly nice. Sahara nodded to Aunia, thinking that the earth bender had meant money. “If it’s out of our budget, I guess we can’t do anything,” she said sadly. Sahara just didn’t have to be the one to tell Juning that. Sahara had nightmares about Juning beating her with that pan…She looked back at Aunia, and saw the Earth bending acrobat glance over at Li-wu. Sahara, for one, hadn’t had a romantic interest in either of the twins. Not that she could remember anyways…it was hard to remember if she had gotten drunk. Sighing, she saw Zahira exit as well, and greet the twins the same way.
Sahara smiled at the newcomers, and at little baby Tarak. She had only met his mother, Miss Feng, by face and name, but never got to formally talk to her or meet her. Well, now was as good a chance as ever, right? Briskly walking to Xia, Sahara gave a friendly smile, and patted Tarak on his little head. Then, looking at Xia, the belly dancer extended a friendly hand of companionship. If Xia shook it, to Sahara at least, she’d be a friend. “I’m Sahara.” She spoke gently, not too loudly, and with a grin on her face.

"Hey Girls" Li-Wu called out nonchalantly as he rose up from where had originally been sitting beside Bai, who still stood all too triumphantly at his awesome driving skills. Li scowled at his twin and lifted a hand, shoving the other off the wagon's little driving seat down the two feet or so to the ground. Bai-tumbled forward, sticking his hands out as he fell. Normally, catching one's self with your wrists straight out would be just asking for a broken one. However, Bai tucked his arms in at the last moment, and bent his body so that his shoulders and back would contact the ground, allowing him to literally roll onto the ground and into a standing position.
Li-wu followed suit, only he didn't roll.. but instead simply left off the wagon's seat, swaggering over towards the ladies as Miss Feng and Fukurou-kun unloaded from the rear. "You can thank Bai's driving for getting us here. You know one wagon moves faster than the whole carvan.." "Yeah, it was all me." Bai beamed, having gotten to Zhy from Tachi Dai in just a few days. That was something no one could claim. Of course, no one was near as reckless as the two twins.
The two brothers glanced towards eachother, before looking at the girls with their usual mischeivous grins. Auina, Sahara, Zahira, Ritika and Pamuy. Five of the prettiest girls in the Caravan. The two young men began to circle the four of them(Sahara having stepped out of the main cluster to greet Xia), like vultures almost, in opposite directions. They were casual, their shoulders loose and their hair fluttering around their faces. "So what are you all doing here..?"
"The Caravan couldn't have gotten here so quickly.."
"And you'd all be outside the city anyway.."
"Not in it.."
The two young men met again, infront of the girls, each flashing their charismatic grin. It was enough to probably make Fukurou-kun roll his eyes and slap his forehead.

She tried her best to shake the image from her mind, but wandering hands were not her favorite thing in the world. Still, found no sense in crying over it, and she wrote off the whole experience. Things like that had happened plenty of times before, even in the caravan, and she learned to get over it quickly. As the empty water jug hung at her side, she was glad she knew how to defend herself, or things would have gotten much worse.
Her eyes were still puffy and sensitive as she walked with the other women toward the twins' wagon, long skirt flowing and sandals clacking. Pamuy turned her head as she heard a quiet voice, spotting Xia Feng, a woman who spent a good amount of time with the caravan, holding her baby. Sahara was first to extend her hand to greet the woman, but Pamuy followed without any immediate friendly gestures. Simply raising one hand to her chest, she said with a polite grin as she stepped forward and placed her other hand on Sahara's mid-back, "And my name is Pamuy."

Auina suppressed a chuckle as the twins dismounted the wagon...Bai in grand fashion, rolling to the ground after being pushed off by Li...and Li simply by jumping off. She'd been around the two since she was very young, so when they came around to start circling the girls, michief painted all over their faces, she wasn't disconcerted. When they inquired about why the were all in the city, the acrobat's face grew serious.
"One of the wagons had a problem, a busted wheel. It happened a few miles out. Juning sent us to try and get a spare but the carpenter here...well..."
She cast a glance back to the tavern...then back to the twins.
"He was simply asking for too much."
The earthbender didn't elaborate as to the price he quoted...nor the outrageousness of his comment to both herself and Pamuy. A sigh escaped her lips though, as a rather unpleasant thought crossed her mind.
"Juning is going to pan us for sure. It took us awhile to even find the carpenter in the first place. Now we'll need to see if there's another here in Zhy who can help us."

"Well why didn't you say anything?" Li would say, grinning in his nonchalant manner. Ah.. the girls.. so oblvious. He put his hands on his hips, fingersnails could use a good wash, and looked over at Bai. Mirror Images, save for those expressive expressions. "Well Bai..?" LI question, cocking an eyebrow at his brother.
"Well What?" The dumbfounded Bai responded, looking positively confused with his lower lip dangling just a little bit. His shoulders were slumped, and he was leaning against the wagon now, one leg crossed over the other. He ha shoved his hands into his pockets.. and then he lifted his head with an "Ooooh! That!" The young man rocketed to his feet, whipping around quickly and kneeling. All the wagons had storage racks under them, many used to hold the flags and other things for preformances, and sometimes spare wheels. His hair settled over his back like a river, shining in the sunlight as he pulled and wiggled the wheel out of the the narrow space. He teetered on his heels, fighting gravity but also using it to help with the wheel. Something slipped, and it gave, throwing him back onto his bum in the middle of the street, but the wheel was there, in his hands. Perfect and ready to be installed on a wagon's axel. He turned his head, grinning sheepishly up to his brother.
"That'll do, Bai. That'll do." LI murmured, before turning back to the girls, and specifically, meeting eye to eye with Auina, the Earth Bender. "This enough wheel for you, dearies?"

Auina's eyebrow rose slightly, as Li-Wu responded, "Well why didn't you say anything?"
Now just what, if anything, did the twins have that could help them at this point? She crossed her arms over her chest, watching the exchange between the "princes" of the Flame Dancers. She tried to suppress a laugh as Bai wrestled with something stored beneath the wagon, bringing one of her slender hands up to cover the smile on her face. After quite a bit of wiggling and effort on Bai-Wu's part, he finally managed to extract something. Auina's face lit up as the twin fell back in the street, a wagon wheel, in perfect working order, in his hand.
The twins had come to their rescue. Perhaps they wouldn't get a panning after all!
"This enough wheel for you, dearies?"
Cappucino brown eyes met Li's for a moment. At first she couldn't seem to say anything...but finally, she found her voice. Nodding her head in a subtle, polite bow, she responded.
"Yes, I think that will do just fine."

Unwittingly, her sky blue eyes drifted in Auina's direction, perhaps because of hearing their voices or for other reasons. She leaned back, and, upon seeing a perfectly-conditioned wagon wheel nearby the tall, lanky Li-Wu, a smile came to the mulberry-toned lips of her small mouth. She turned to the baby-toting Xia Feng and Sahara, and, lowering her hand from Sahara's back, she raised her other hand with her index finger pointed upward. "Excuse me."
The petite woman walked around to meet her friend Auina, Li standing before her with the wagon wheel. Pamuy smiled at the man who'd she always thought to be one half of a pair of knuckleheads, and nodded her head. Small hands folded and resting low on the front of her flowing, Persian green skirt, she amicably said, "Thank you, Li. We appreciate this very much."
Immediately after her proclamation, she turned to Auina. "Do you think we should go find the girls and return to the caravan now?"

"Alright... Well then Ladies, I'll go back with you to the caravan and wheel.. and Bai can just stay here with our wagon." Li would command, stepping to his brother and yoinking the wheel out of Bai's hands and wheeling it away from his brother. He cocked an eyebrow at the ladies, his lips curling into a grin as he approched them. "Shall we head off now?"
Bai frowned, literally whimpering that he'd have to stay here without his brother. It was rare the two were ever far apart. Still sitting cross legged on the ground, he crossed his arms across his chest and stuck his nose in the air. "Fine then, I'll stay here and move our wagon out of the city. Humph!" Yes.. do exactly what Li-Wu said.. of course. He stood up and kicked some of the flagpoles and rolled drapes of fabric back under the wagon, they had gotten jostled as he pulled the wheel out. Bai climbed back aboard the wagon, the doozing ostrich horses suddenly awake and crying with Bai's hands at the reins.
Li nodded, stepping to the earth bender Auina and leaning his elbow on her shoulder with that knowing grin. They had been a couple previously when they were younger, but Li had moved on to bigger and better conquests. Auina had been nothing really more than a fling. He patted the wheel before looking back at her with those narrow eyes, as he began directing Auina towards the road leading out of the city. "So how's mum?"
Time Skip? Onward to the preformance!

The acrobat nodded to Pamuy.
"Yes, let's get everyone back to Ritika's wagon so we can get back to the caravan."
Almost on cue, Li was directing Bai to stay with the twins' wagon, while he would accompany the ladies back. Oh how convenient, hmm....Li...surrounded by a plethora of gorgeous women...somehow it seemed that Li was getting the better end of the bargain than Bai was.
Auina smiled over to Li as he leaned on her shoulder. There was that grin of his. It was a bit sad, really, that she still had feelings for Li, when it was obvious he'd moved on long ago. Still...no one else she'd met in her travels nor any of the other men of the Flame Dancers had really caught her eye. Until someone else came along, her heart would still long for Li.
"So how's mum?" he asked.
As the two made their way down the road, the earthbender put her arms behind her back, her hands coming together at the small of her back.
"The same as ever. I imagine she'll give you and Bai an earful when you get back. There's no way you two should've gotten to Zhy this quickly with Miss Feng, little Tarak and Fukurou. You really shouldn't let Bai drive like that! It's dangerous! Someone could've gotten hurt..."
And there was the nagging...
It was all said gently though, out of genuine concern. Not a hint of harshness would be apparent in her tone.
Once the pair made it to Ritika's wagon, she used a bit of earth bending to help Li load the wagon, by making a platform that ran even with the rack beneath it. All Li woudl have to do is push the thing into position, instead of having to wrestle it in there. Once the wheel was loaded, she climbed inside, and waited patiently for the others.
[Auina has LEFT the thread.]

Ritika sat through the exchange nonchalantly, occasionally bobbing her head in agreement and encouragement. Occasionally, she glanced at Miss Feng and the baby Tarak, was it? and gave pointed glances at her they're idiots, I know. There simply wasn't much to say. She was nervous though.. what would they do without the wheel? As if he was answering her worries, Bai Li slid a hand beneath the wagon and rummaged around before pulling out a perfectly rounded wagon wheel. If only they'd met up earlier... "Thanks boys," Ritika chirruped. Choruses of 'thank you!'s immediately followed and there was a sudden rush towards her wagon. She clambered gracefully onto the foot stand and slid the door open for the others. She smiled defeatedly at Li Wu's exchange with Auina as the last of them went in and swung the door shut. Of course, there'd be no hard feelings between the girls.. she just couldn't shake off that feeling. At last, Ritika perched herself nimbly on the peak of her wagon and snapped the reins of her steed. The ostitch horse took off at once, kicking up sand and leading the wagon back to the caravan. Ritika left too.
