Reed laughed since Jialing had to be on her toes to hit him...the laughing continued until he had noticed no one was around.. " What!!?? JIA!!! COME BACK HERE!!" HE yelled running after her as she ran after Jin.
He splashed through mud puddles as he ran after Jialing and Jin making friends with the branches and twigs holding onto his shirt. Reed stopped. He knew exactly where Jialing would end up. He had played tag and hide and seek many times in these woods; a smirk crossed his face. He started to sprint off and rooked a sharp left.
He looked in front of him to see Jin which must mean Jialing was close behind. He looked to the side and looked back forward but before he had time to stop his feet from moving, he collided with a familiar figure and just so happens he landed on top of her.

Jialing fell to the ground without a cry, but the snapping of twigs and the crackle of leaves provided plently of sound in the seemingly quiet woods. Bird shrieked above them, and through the underbrush came the thunderous paws of Jialing's massive dog. Jin's long and narrow face peered down at Jia, nearly butting heads with Reed's fuzzy scalp. His giant tongue rolled out of the side of his mouth, panting heavily as his eyes shifted from Jia to Reed.
Jialing lifted a hand to her forehead, groaning. She had hit her head pretty darn good on the fall, and for a moment, it seemed like she might have been hurt. Nothing ever stops the great Jialing Xiang though, and within a moment, her narrow eyes snapped open, the warm ambers in them flashing like a clay pot in the klin. "Reed..?" She said slowly, her voice holding a hint of sweetness that Jialing would often give before shouting someone's ear off. "..Get off of me." Her voice lowered in pitched, becoming tense was a last warning.
Jin, who when standing up his backfeet stood near seven feet high, immediately lowered his head and tucked his tail between his legs. He quickly backed up, whining softly.

Reed went flying into Jialing as they landed with a THUD!. Well, mostly Jialing landed with a thud and Reed on top of Jialing. Which was actually not that bad for Reed as he was pushed against her breasts.( He's a guy. That's what he notices.) He smirked at her sweetness and harshness. "Jeez, Jia. Someone's a little cranky and/or moody this evening." The wind picked up its pace moving and rustling the leaves off the ground. Some stars were now visible and the moon too visible in the large gap of the trees. Reed moved forward and layed his lips on Jialing's,without thinking of future consequences, which were probably the kind of unfortunate consequence which included pain.He had to admit; the girl looked sexy and it's not like hethought of it for the first time.

Knee to Nuts? Accomplished. Or at least, that's where she hoped her flailing led. She threw her palms against his shoulders, shoving him away from her. Not only was his chin stubbily, but she had no desire to even let him that near her. "Oh Shut up and move!" She growled at him, rolling her bright amber eyes away from him. The wind whipped her hair up around her face as she sat up, elbowing Reed off to the side. She lifted her face to the wind and inhaled deeply. "A storm is coming.." Jin appeared suddenly at her side, sensing the impending storm too. He whined, his mouth closing tightly as he held his tail close to his legs. His coat was damp, which Jialing felt when she put an arm on the dog's shoulders. She drew back, looking at Jin for a moment. "Real close..!" The young woman lept to her feet and then she grinned. She whipped around to face Reed, her cheeks flushing at she grinned. "Lets head into town..!"

Reed rolled to the ground as Jialing had kneed him. "Holy shi-!" Reed began as he clenched his teeth. How that hurt! "Jesus Jia, you didn't need to go that far! it was only a kiss...and pretty worth it," he mumbled the last part. Reed got up and exhaled "i was almost gonna cry over that too." He said to himself as he almost got whipped by Jialing's hair as she turned to him. "You're not really a cow are you? cause if you can sense storms... well, you know." Reed listened as Jia suggested they move into town. "Okay!" Reed yelled/ agreed in an eager mocking tone as he brushed himself off and shook his hair to get the leaves and things off. Reed blinked a few times as his brown locks hung in his face, "Wait.. Why in to town?"

Jialing turned around to face him, her outer lip pursed. "First you kiss me, then you call me a cow! No wonder I want to head into town. So I can find some other guy to flirt with and get you all riled up!" Her pale lips curled into a smile, the freckles on her face dancing in the changing light. She lifted her eyes up, feeling the wind suddenly pick up, cool against her skin as it runs through her hair. dark clouds gathered in the sky above them. The pinpoints of light that fell through the canopy of leave were dimming quickly. "Don't tell me.. your such a city boy that you can't smell the charge.. the crispness in the air?" Jialing inhaled deeply and Jin lifted his head to look at her strangely. Her chets rose and fell .. "Yup. A storm. " She then opened her eyes and grinned again. "C'mon.. treat me to a night on the town, Reed!"

"Why would you need another guy to flirt with when you've got me! " Reed said as a cheesy smile spread over his face. It was true. Even if Jialing found another guy to flirt with Reed would be as jealous as... well, as he could get and probably go after some girl way out of his league and get slapped aside the head. The boy never did have the great "bad ass" thing to him like Kai did to get all the girls. Apparently
"City boy?" Reed thought as he eyed her awkwardly. "Uh, yeah, first of all, cow part was a joke! And second, i can just see storm clouds...That's good enough for me." Reed rolled his neck. A night on the town, huh? Reed thought about it.He did actually owe her some money though she refused it.... "Fine, Jia, Let's go!" He stated as he went over to Jin as he patted Jin's head.

"Let's hurry before the rain starts." Jialing muttered, looking up at the sky just as a bolt of lightning streaked across the sky from dark cloud to dark cloud. Her lips curled into a child like smile. Ever since she was a child, she LOVED the thunder storms that came rolling into the mountians. Her memory flashed back to when she and her brothers would sit just inside the makeshift earthen barn while the animals huddled around eachother, the three children would eager play in the rain just outside the entrance and watch the thunder heads roll in. Sometimes they would stay out there almost all night even as their Mother howled for them to come inside where it was warm. She lifted a hand to shove her hair back from her face, already feeling the humidity rising. Her hair was growing tight curls, crinkling around her head. Jin's coat had begun to gain a slight wave too as it often did in the rainy season. Flinging her hand to the side, Jialing thrusted her lanky body forward into an all out sprint to gain ground on Reed, before falling into a gentle Jog.

"yeah, lets go." Reed said straighting up as Jialing ran towards the town. "Gods above, you'd think that woman ran enough already.." He said going after her.He picked up his feet faster and faster to keep up/ pass Jialing. Until he almost bumped into her by mistake. "Aw man... I just broke into my stride too.." Reed said slowing down and jogging along side Jia. Thunder rumbled as streaks of light came down from the sky. They were almost at the city and just in time too. The rain started. First only a few drops came and rarely landed on the three companions; but soon it started to pick up and was starting to rain hard. In Tachi Dai , it always would rain hard, since it was close to the mountains and since the clouds couldn't go over, they dropped the water they had gathered and let it rfall on all those below. Reed really didn't mind thunder storms, but he'd much rather be less wet and instead warm... and dry.
