Disguise all set, blindfold on, robe fastened, poker face on..
Admiral Ashuku stepped into the gates of Bai Seng Sai, completely disguised as an Earth Nation common man, and no features that showed his nationality were in the open. A blindfold that he could see through hid his eyes, and a pair of dark green gloves covered the flame tatoo's on his hands. No one would ever notice his Fire Nation alignment.
The first order of business was to obtain a map of the city that outlined all the walls and entry points, which he had purchased from a merchant for a few copper peices. The map was unrolled in front of his face while he strolled, avoiding the others and looking for a tavern in which he could sit down and mark the map up with possible seige and entry points. But before that, he needed to test the town's security and protection. This is the city that stood up for years without falling, but its gotta fall soon.
He decided to put the map in his pocket and sit on the corner of a building and watch, hoping some sort of dispute would arise or some other Fire Nation soldiers didn't get the memo and started the attack anyway. Only time and an action could help him now.

I'm done, that's all the information I need.
Ashuku casually exited the bar he had recently just taken a seat in. In his hands were several pieces of parchment wrapped in a dark green ribbon, containing all the information he needed. His battle plans were set, and his mind spun with the assurance of victory. Think of the rewards he would gain, the dinners, the medals, the promotions. Perhaps the Fire Lord would even dine with him. These thoughts buzzed around him as he exited the city's gate. The guard stopped him for a moment to offer a word of warning.
"Sir, be careful out there, some reports are saying that fire nation soldiers are drawing closer," the guard told him casually.
"You have no idea.." Ashuku mumbled under his breath.
"What?" the guard asked, obviously double checking if he misheard.
Imbecile...
"I said, I'll be careful," Ashuku quietly told him, nodding slightly.
"Right, right. Move along," the guard said nodding.
The moon gleamed above the roads as Ashuku walked on them, already smelling the smoke of his victory, already tasting the blood of fallen Earth Nation soldiers, and most of all he could see Bai Seng Sai smoldered. With one quick yank, he pulled off his fake blindfold and began to laugh evil-like as he walks down the dirt road. Time to do what I love...
