Akemi looked up, curiosity in her eyes. "I got lost," was all she can spit out, for now. Something is up with this man, I just know it. she thought, hiding her suspicions. "Run! Attack! Anything!" was what also jolted through her head. She didn't want to show what she was thinking, so she kept her face in an emotionless stage.
Well, I was right about the impatience part. she thought. But what was he supposed to be doing that he was being so impatient to wait for? She also knew that he wanted more than, "I got lost." It was more complicated than that. She didn't just get lost, she got lost, and panicked. She and her escort were ambushed, and separated. She ran, and in the process got her face slammed into a tree, getting her abnormally small and sensative nose injured. But she wasn't going to spill that information that easily...

Lost? LOST?! Just a lost little girl? Damn it! No, no, settle down. She could be a spy, an assasin, messing with your mind...
He took a calming breath before saying anymore, his patience was running thinner. At least she talked...
"Oh, lost? You just happend to get lost, wonder RIGHT and end up right in front of my camp? Where were you going miss? Did you have an escort? What message did you carry? I'd like answer's miss." he told her, trying to keep his voice level, but his impatience and frustration leaked through his words.
"Look, I could have left you to die. I saved you, and I want results!"
Harshness wouldn't get him anywhere now, he could tell that in the way she looked at him. But.... maybe she was just a little lost girl in the woods, maybe she was delivering cookies to her grandmother and followed some parrot. Regardless, he couldn't let her leave, yet. No, she could run off, tell someone of his camp. An ambush, and a horribly ended career, no. Once he's off to Bai Seng Sai, she would escape he knew. There was more to her than meets the eye.

Now it was as if Akemi could actually read his mind: he was growing very impatient, and was very suspicious of her.
"...I did have an escort. We were ambushed, separated, and he was the one with the map," At this point, her voice level began to rise, since she wasn't going to back down at what the stranger wanted. "I'm looking for a cure for my mother, who happens to be dying as we speak!" Now she was looking as though she could burst into tears, out of anger and sorrow.
He wasn't the only one being held back from something, she was being held back from her destination as well. Akemi wanted to be angrier with him, but that would result losing control of her emotions: and her earthbending. But, once again, Akemi knew the man wanted more answers... now her eyes were screaming a message, "Let me leave, or you shall die!"

A grin, a wide grin spread across his face as he watched the frustration and anger spread across the young lady. She had reached the breaking point. She released her information, and whats more, she lost her hold on her emotions and thoughts. There it all lay, in her eyes. She wanted to leave, but of course, who wouldn't? He chuckled at the girl's intentions, there was no way out of here unless he allowed it.
"Don't even think about it, young lady. The tent is guarded, I am armed... but don't fret, you'll be able to leave....eventually..." he calmly told her, still grinning at his succesful interegation.
"After my campaign is complete and my troops and I are out, you'll be able to go find your "cure", so you'd better get comfortable," he told her, rising to inspect the man on the mat, who was still unconcious.
"This young man, do you know him by any chance?"

Now she knew what he was doing from that grin: he was interrogating her. It was written all over his face. But, he still didn't know she could earthbend, or if she even has a weapon. Once she knew what was going on, her face turned emotionless again. Her eyes, speaking calmly, "I won't be broken again," The earth under them shook a bit.
Akemi looked down at boy on the mat; she forgot that he was still there. But, she also remembered something else. I can just chop off the man's head and run for it. she thought, hiding that intention. "No," she replied. The question was, why did he have to interrogate her? Where was he supposed to be going? A campaign?
"What campagin?" the words slipped out of her mouth. She wanted to smack herself for saying that out loud.

What campaign? I knew this would come up... And what was that shaking? Is she doing that?
Ashuku rose from the stool and began to circle slightly, in a slow, elegent manner. While standing up, he noticed something, attached to her belt. Is that.... a yato?
"So you are armed..." he chuckled, "A lot good that would do..."
"So you won't be broken again hmm? Well, thats all right, I don't need anymore then that," Ashuku told her, in a tone intoning he felt superior around a teenager, "You want to know about my campaign miss? I'm sorry, by order I'm not allowed to talk about it. Besides, I doubt you even know what a campaign is... your a teenager, and a girl besides. What do you know of war?"
With his back turned to the girl, he grinned again. How he loved mind games... He spun around and added, "And that was a mighty fine earthquake trick miss, so you are more than meets the eye... A kata wielding Earthbender hmm? Interesting..."

"Of course I know what a campaign is, " Akemi said. Of course Akemi knew about war. Just because she was a girl, didn't mean she knew nothing about it either. Her teacher taught her about it. A campaign... a battle of some sort... but where? Akemi thought of all the Earth Kingdom cities the Fire Nation would want to conquer. Then, it hit her.
Bai Seng Sei... were the words that ringed in her head. She wanted to run, and warn the city. Can she outrun a whole bunch of firebending troops with armed weapons? She cluched onto the tsuka-ito of her katana. I may be some teenage girl who's lost, but I can fight. the earth shook again. If only she could just catch the man offguard, and bolt through this tent. Her face stayed emotionless, in attempt to hide her thoughts.

Her face was devoid of emotion, again, trying to hide her feelings. But what a foolish attempt, once broken under his interregation, he always knew where to look to find the emotions. She wanted to get out, and she wanted his head on the floor.
"If you know what a campaign is, then you must know how war works," he began, "And if you know how war works, then you know I can't let you leave."
He snapped his fingers lightly and the guards at the door entered the tent. One held a long sword and the other carried a pair of iron hand cuffs.
"I really enjoyed our time miss, and tell your mother hello for me, once you are released," he commented with a bow, "And watch the boy for me, make sure you both don't leave."
And with that he left the medical tent, pleased with his progress and anticipating the planning stages of the 'Second Assault of Bai Seng Sai' as he liked to call it. He entered his personal tent, and after making sure he was alone, he quickly stripped off his uniform and put on his casual clothes. A brown robe and some Earth green garments, he will fit right in...
Meanwhile the soldiers approached the girl, and were about to clasp her wrists in the cuffs...

Akemi had enough. She leaped up and kicked the one holding the sword, and elbowed the other in the stomach. She drew her katana, and ran to the back of the tent. She slashed an opening, and ran through it. Then, she dashed through the camp in a straight line, not caring if she knocked someone over or damaged anything: she just wanted to get out of there...
She sprinted to the edge of the camp, seeing the boulder she had hid behind the night before. She stopped and hid behind it, for she had to stop for breath. Okay, I got out, now all I need to do is find the quickest way to Bai Seng Sei... she thought, panting harshly. Then, she heard running footsteps approaching, so she began running again. Get to Bai Seng Sei, scream, "The city will be ambushed!" on the top of my lungs, and if they don't believe me, then they'll be sorry... Akemi thought.

"Sir! The girl escaped!!!" a soldier exclaimed, bursting into the Admiral's private tent.
"Yes... and?" he told him, unemotionally and smiling with his back turned from the soldier. He knew she'd escape the minute he left, he knew she'd kill the guards, he knew she'd scramble off into the forest. It was all planned...
"But sir! Your prisoner is gone! She'll warn them!"
"So she's gone, so what? She can't find Bai Seng Sai, she was lost, and she has no map. She'll wander and wander, and by the time she gets there, it'll be ashes under our feet," he smiled, turning to face the soldier, "What do you think of this outfit?"
"Umm....very...Earth Nation...ish...?"
"Very good, is the boy in there still unconscious?"
The armored soldier nodded quickly, standing at attention.
"Lets go pay him a vist then..."
The Admiral left his tent with the soldier, and walked through the camp site. The sun was still low, and the sky was a mixture of hazy colors, dancing among the clouds. Several soldiers were making breakfast and talking about what had happend, and they all glanced at Ashuku as he walked by. They're not getting a raise...
He examined the slash casually, and walked through it. The boy was still on the floor, on his mat, just lying there, waiting to be interegated.
"Aw.. she didn't drink her tea," Ashuku sarcastically mentioned, "Is the sleeping pills still active in that cup?"
"They should be sir..."
"Good."
He took his place on the stool again, took a peice of warm bread from the basket, and took a small bite out of it. He'd better wake up soon

Akemi stopped dead in her tracks, then she leaned against the tree. She was probably about twenty minutes of a walk away from the camp. She panted harshly for breath, and slid her katana back into its habaki.
I have to find out how to get there... darn, I should've grabbed a map while I was in there... Akemi thought. But who'd put a map in a medical tent anyhow? Akemi closed her eyes, and tried to visualize the last time she saw the map, that is currently with her escort. All she coud remember, was a trail, that she didn't know where it was. She buried her face in her hands, still feeling the rough bandages on her small nose. Then, she remembered the boy, who was still probably unconcious on the mat. An instinct told her to go back and get him, for the man-supposedly a commander or admiral of some sort-would interrogate him as well.
But how would she get back there, without getting caught? Akemi visualized the camp, how she ran through it. She didn't just go in a straight line: she went in zig-zags. She remembered the boulder she hid behind, and when she first saw the first tent of the camp: the medical tent. She knew he could be in there. She eavesdrop on them, and bust in at the right time. Was she crazy enough to save a boy who was Fire Nation?
But that depends if he's on their side, she corrected herself. So, risking her life once more, she silently retraced her steps, to the boulder where she fainted.

Sarad rolled over on a soft surface clutching his head groaning as he came back to consciousness. His head pounded like there was no tomorrow. what the heck happened to me? he thought before remembering the soldiers had knocked him out. Remembering that he sat bolt up, opening his eyes.
"What is going on?!" He said flopping back onto the mat he had been set on. He was dizzy from trying to stand and the confusion wasn't helping. Why the heck did those soldiers attack me? I'm fire Nation as well. well he sort of was. He rubbed his head and closed his eyes, waiting for the room to stop spinning.
It took a little while, but eventually the room did decide to sit still and he was able to open his eyes without feeling nauseous. Examining his surroundings he was in a tent of some sort. After briefly looking at the tent his gaze settled on the only other person in the tent. A much older man then himself sat on a stool, obviously a high ranking Fire Nation. He just stared at the man with a steady gaze, kind of ticked that he had been captured by his own people.

He's awake, finally, or is it a she?
Ashuku examined the man who was now sitting up on the mat. He did slightly resemble a girl with his slight curves and face. A pair of guards stood by where the girl had made the rip and were trying to patch it up. He smiled at the young boy and reached for the tray.
"Good morning young man, or is it lady? Oh no, sorry, man, definatly a man. Feeling better?" he asked him politely, pouring some tea into a cup.
"Here, have some tea, and some bread if you'd like... you must be hungry. Excuse the tear in the tent, the last girl in here had the runs," he smiled, putting the tea on a saucer and putting it on the mat, "Don't ask."
"Oh and excuse the Earth Nation attire, I have some business to do in the Earth Nation... can't be recognized," he added, showing off his earth tone outfit.
He looked at the boy again. Why did my men knock this one out? He looks Fire Nation to me...

GIRL! Sarad's mind screamed as his normally serious face went quickly to anger. His brow creased with his fury at the mans mistake. Looking at the man talking and he could tell he was talking about something, but he was to infuriated to hear him.
"Girl!" He finally managed to say in an almost whisper, doing his best not to jump at the man and attempt to tear his throat out. WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU ARE!?" He yelled losing control of his voice. First he was dragged into his own Nations camp after being knocked out and now they were insulting him. If he had his sword he would have hacked them all to pieces he was so mad. He sparred no thought for anything but his anger, but somewhere in the back of his mind he knew he would be sorry for it later. Sadly even Nakama had no place in his mind at the moment, but when he did think of her he would be worried sick.

Akemi closed in onto the very tip of the camp, where she heard yelling. Probably the voice of the boy she saw unconcious earlier. They must be interrogating him, I just know it... Then, Akemi had a flashback. She saw the stranger's face in it, making her want to punch it right there. But, his face also held a message in his eyes: he wanted her to drink the tea that was given to her. But why? Honestly, Akemi kind of hated tea. Did they have something in it?
She had to worry about that later. All she had to do, was listen, and grab a map as soon as the coast was clear. She clinged onto the tsuka-ito of her katana, ready to bolt over, grab a map, and kill anyone who got in her way. She listened closer to ths boy's yelling: he was going to break sooner than she did during the interrogation.
Akemi peaked over the boulder she hid behind, hoping nobody would see her. She saw a couple of soldiers, repairing the tear she had made in the tent. I should just run in there now, I could kill the both of them if they try to stop me...
