Reed held in a chuckle at Jialing’s reply. It was always so much fun watching girls fume over the littlest things. “No better way to spend the day, unless you’re bugging TWO girl instead of one,” Reed smiled.
As Jialing called Jin Soongie tilted his head, “Doggy?” The little child frowned as Jin left him to go have a bath. He was having so much fun with Jin but he soon moved on when Reed started to spin around on his heels making the two twirl. Soongie giggled as Reed soon came to a stop. “Come on little guy, let’s go get some thing eat,” Reed said as Soongie nodded his head while squealing. “And once we get in to the kitchen,” Reed started, “I’ll teach you how to make a sandwich fit for a king.”
Reed walked in to the house and called to Jialing, “Hey Jia! You want a sandwich!” Reed called as entered the kitchen.

Jialing scowled, turning her hard gaze away from the young man. "C'mon jin!" Jialing tapped her hip, weight shifting to her other foot as she turned away. The dog followed her, disappearing into the house. A hand ran through her hair, the smooth strands running through her fingers with ease now.
The two stepped inside, Jialing kicking off the slippers once more. She would always prefer to go barefoot rather than go without her her beloved boots. "Ying Ying.. Where can I take Jin for his bath?" The young dog stood at her feet with his tail wagging eagerly. His dark eyes were bright and his fur was dull. The golden dog had been coated in the muck from the swamp, and it clung to his fine haired coat. He no longer shined, and the long hair of his tail was matted and uncombed. The true description of a mutt.

“Fine,” Reed scoffed, “No sandwich for you,” Reed said slicing some tomatoes.
When Jialing asked Ying-Ying where she could give Jin a bath Ying-Ying walked in the house to Jialing. “I’m sure we have a large basin some where,” Ying-Ying said tapping her chin, “Reed Honey, could you please go out to the back yard shed and get a basin for Jialing?” Reed and Soongie looked over to Ying-Ying. Reed had a slice of bread in his mouth half hanging out trying to push Soongie away and Soongie was pulling Reed’s hair and had Reed’s shirt in his mouth. Both of them frozen in that position. Ying-Ying gasped, “I can’t leave the two of you alone for a minute,” She said picking up Soongie, “And you need a bath.” She said walking up the stairs with the child in her arms, “Reed. Basin.” Ying-Ying said before leaving the bottom floor t the top. “Ugh…Get the basin Reed,” Reed mocked while ruffling his hair and putting the bread from his mouth down with his free hand.
Reed walked into the back yard and found a good sized basin and filled it with water. Reed put the basin on the grass and tossed Jialing a bar of soap, “Found some soap,” He said walking back into the house, “You sure you don’t want a sandwich?”

Jialing sighed and lifted a hand as she straddled Jin, trying to get the dog to approach the basin. Yeah, Jin was whining, his tail inbetween his legs as he tried to sit or escape some how. "..Fine.. Make me a Sammich!" her lip curled into a grin, her fingers slipping through the knots of golden hair. From inbetween Jialing's legs, Jin saw his escape, backing up. He slipped her hold, and wheeled around. The dog streaked away like a golden bullet, his body low to the ground and his matted, nasty hair flowing along the curve of his body.
Jialing fell to the side, losing her balance over the dog. She landed on her rump with a "Oof!", Her palms sinking into the grass. She winced for a moment, her bouncy hair dangling infront of her face. Her fingers curled around the grass, as she rose to her feet, ripping the blades with her. The young woman gritted her teeth, before tearing after her misbehaving pup. "Jin! Get your hairy butt back here right now! Don't you play this game, Mister! You need a bath! You haven't had one in months!"
The two wove their way around the yard, Jin dashing and dodging, weaving in and out in a teasing manner. Jialing made quiet a few lunges at the dog, her hands ranking through his coat. The young woman even made a failed dive attempt, growling as she glanced up at her empty hands and Jin standing merely a few feet away.. tail wagging.
"You are pure evil, dog."

Reed finished making Jialing and him self a sandwich. He left Soongie’s on the counter as he walked out with a sandwich in his mouth and a sandwich on a plate for Jialing. Reed couldn’t help but chuckle as Jialing ran after Jin who easy maneuvered around each of Jialing’s tries. Reed sighed and shook his head back and forth slowly, “Jia, Jia, Jia, Jia…Now we all know you are never going to catch him like that,” Reed pointed out setting down Jialing’s sandwich on a high ledge and shortly after walking over to the basin making sure to keep his distance so at one point he wouldn’t fall in. Reed waved his sandwich back and forth to catch Jin’s attention, “Jiiiinnn….You want the sandwich?” Reed taunted, “It’s all good and the ham is ever so tender….With the fresh bread, and the rest of the good stuff…”

Jialing tilted her head to the side, as she placed her hands under her chin, her cheeks being shoved against her eyes. Her dark hair fell around her face, framing her jester like expression. "You're never going to ca-AAtch him..!" She said in a sing-song voice, her legs curling up as she watched Reed took the sandwhich intended for her and dangeled it infront of Jin's brown eyes.
The dog was no idiot, even as he stood their with laughing eyes. His tail rose, a fan of golden plummage caked with mud. He waved it back and forth like a flag of surrender, inching ever closer to the mouth watering sandwhich.
Jialing watched with mild amusement, her lips curled into a smile as she waved her bare, feet back and forth. Many times she had tried this with Jin.. and the dog always won. It simply was a matter of time.. "It's no use, Reed!"

Reed held on to the sandwich with a tight grip, “You just watch Jia, I will Ca-AAtch him!” Reed said confidently.
Reed sighed, “It Is use Jia!” He said taking a bite of the sandwich. “What it I…..Throw the sandwich to you? Will he run, or will he just sit…Or will he tackle you to the ground in which you are already on?” Reed asked with a grin on his face. Reed moved the sandwich back and forth, “Jin! You want the sandwich? You want the sandwich!?” Reed walked up to Jin, “You know you want the saaannnddddwwiiiccchhh……it’s soooooo good…” Reed said poking Jin’s nose. Reed walked beside Jialing. “Oh Jiiinnn? Loookk! Now Jialing has the sandwich!” He said once again moving the sandwich up and down, “Are you going to let the girl eat the sandwich? Or do you want it?….You know you want it!”

Jialing scowled, her brown eyes sliding over to Reed's pant leg and rising as he bent over. His hand held the sandwhich in a light grasp, dangling it right over her head. Did he really think Jin would go for it? Jialing sighed, rolling over to her side.
Jin had come closer, but he dared not to come within two feet. He whined, his lips smacking as he licked his nose and lips. His brows alternated between raised and lowered. He even pawed at the ground, whining as his tail swayed back and forth slowly. The sandwhich was looking mighty tasty to his hungry eyes.
Rolling her eyes, Jialing flipped on to her back, propping herself up with her elbows. Lifting a brow, the young woman eyed the sandwhich as it swung back and forth. A grin curled upon her lips. Quickly, in a flash, she struck. One arm arched up and ripped that sandwhich from Reed's hand, flinging it behind her towards the golden colored dog. Meanwhile, her free arm shot up and wrenched itself into the hem of Reed's tunic. A hasty, yet forceful pull, and Jialing brought the boy to the ground. Reversi.
The young woman now sat onto Reed, her hands pinning his arms down. Her dark hair fell into her face as she laughed, a low and throaty chuckle. "I win!"

Reed, being surprised, yelled to Jialing, “You stole the sandwich! It was working too!” But then he was soon pulled to the ground and sat on with a big, “oof!”
“Yeah, you keep laughing!” Reed said as his hair covered his eyes. Reed blew the strands of hair away from his face and yelled to Jialing, “I can’t believe you gave him the sandwich! And that was YOUR sandwich by the way, and don’t think I’m going to be making you another sandwich anytime soon!” Reed grunted, “...Geeze Jia, how much do you weigh?” He said with a smirk.
‘Two can play this game’ He thought. Reed turned his elbows around and grabbed Jialing’s wrists. He flipped her of his head and onto her back on the grass in front of him. He this time he had hold of her arms and smiled at her with a smug grin. His face was upside down, at least to her, and vise-versa to him, “Oh! What now!? You just going to take that?” He laughed in an in-your-face tone.

She screamed in panic, as she was suddenly flipped over, bouncing once on the landing. She grimaced on the landing, feeling her wrists bend in a unnatural or at least uncomfortable way. Opening one eye, Jialing scowled at Reed. "YOU LITTLE --!" The young woman screeched at the top of her lungs right back into his face. What an insult! Her brows furrowed in frustration, her forehead wrinkling.
Well now, Jialing were perplexed. She didn't know how she would get out of this. Sure, her legs were free, and she made a good point of them by angerly kicking the ground. "..You won't win, Reed." Her voice, laced with malice, growled. Of course.. she didn't have a plan right now..

Reed laughed as Jialing screamed in his face. Sure having a girl scream at you isn’t the best thing, especially to one that could take you on, but hey, take some risks.
Reed nodded his head, “Yeah…I probably won’t…What am I saying!? I can, and I will!!” He said grinning, “It’s always fun to try. Even if there’s a chance that I let you go and you murder me in my sleep…That wouldn’t be too pleasant. But you never know.”
Reed blew more strands of hair out of his eyes and sighed. “I’m going to go finish my sandwich. We can continue this later,” Reed said releasing Jialing and standing up, brushing any dust or dirt off him. Then soon after he walked over to grab his sandwich and took a bite. He swallowed the food in his mouth and looked over to Jialing, “You want to go into the town? I heard they’re having a Turisia race.”

Jialing remained on the ground, her hair flaring around from around her face like the sun's rays. With Reed no longer holding her wrists, she flexed her hands and moved her fingers. Almost instantly, that violent nature of hers died away, leaving a almost wistful look on her face. Where had she last laughed like this? When had she last felt this good? Not hungry.. not dirty.. not having to watch her back. Sure, Jin was still flithy beyond belief.. but here was peace.
Her eyes shut and she breathed out slowly, her lips curling at the vivid images that played through her mind. Reed running with Jin at his heels. The wild Turisia ride through the city. The bad jokes he cracked while they drifted on that raft. That first encounter. She had sworn she'd go off on her own as soon as they got to the next port, then dry land, then here at this manor. Yet Jialing couldn't tear herself away.
After a moment, she propped herself up with her elbows, staring at Jin. The dog had sat at her feet, tail wagging as he panted heavily. He was just teasing her.. Lifting a brow, Jialing grinned. "..Help me catch Jin and We'll go the races."

Reed finished his sandwich and cleaned his hands and mouth off on a kitchen cloth. Of course Ying-Ying would most likely have his head, but hey….Actually there wasn’t really any thing he could do about that.
Reed thought for a moment as Jialing told him her offer. Reed rubbed his chin, which was now smooth and free from the long lasting stubble. Reed grinned and rolled up his sleeves, “Deal,” He said slowly approaching the four legged animal, “But just so you know, I would have had him if you didn’t fling the sandwich to him.”
When Reed was about five feet from Jin, he started to chase after him as fast as he could. He wanted to go to that Turisia race and bet on one of them little critters. He hadn’t done that for more than…What was it? Five…..Maybe six years? So he was looking forward to going.

Jin shook his head as he stood, his paws clawing at the grass covered ground. His tail fanned through the air, his matted fur snapping like a flag. Warm brown eyes teased Reed, before the pup took it upon himself to go darting off. The dog weaved inbetween the trees in the yard, his body stretching out low to the ground and arcing through the curves as he turned. He wheeled and wove, all out of the reach of Reed.
Jialing swung her legs up, perpendicular to the ground, before quickly swinging them back down to the ground. Her upper body was pulled upwards, and she lept to her feet, her hands behind her for balance. With a sly grin, she turned her back to the boys and stepped over to the tub, filled with soapy water. She bent at the waist, supporting herself with her hands on the rim of the metal tub. Pursing her lips, she whistled sharply. "Jin! Come on, boy! Bath time!"
Jin stopped, his head lifting in the direction of Jialing's voice. His ears perked, and his tongue rolled out of the side of his muzzle. With glee, the pup raced over to her, making a flying leap into the soap-filled tub of water. Jialing stepped away from the tub as the water splashed upwards, folding her arms over her chest. With a smile, she lifted a brow at Reed as if saying "What?"

Reed’s jaw dropped. What the heck!? She just—I was--! Reed thought as he just stood there, “Why did you have to give him the sandwich then?! He would have got in the tub anyway!” Reed screamed, “You- You hustler!” He yelled walking up to Jialing and Jin. The dog was happily in the tub with Jialing on the side. Reed sighed and folded his arms, “Though I have to admit, that was good... as is this.” Reed quickly hooked his foot around Jialing’s leg and lifted his foot. Using his foot as leverage he moved it upward making Jialing fly face first on to the ground. Reed slid back a little to avoid getting splashed with dust and grime, “And you deserved that,” Reed said putting his hands in his pockets and walking in tot eh house, “Tell me when you’re done if you want to go to the races,” Reed half chuckled as he disappeared in to the house.
