Jialing smirked as Reed stared flabergasted at the joke she had played on him. Yeah.. Jin really was a good dog that obeyed everyone of her commands. The past attempt at catching him had been nothing but a joke. A fun, playful joke on Reed. As Reed approched, Jialing smirked, lifting her hands up to wiggle her fingers at him and sticking her tongue out of the corner of her mouth.
"Oh ho ho.. Of cou- Aiyee!" The foot hooking around her leg caught her by surprise. As her balance was kicked away, literally, Jialing rocked forward. Her hands, fingers spread, reached forward and grabbed his vest. Her grip slipped, and the young woman ended up in the soapy tub, suds covering her shoulders and arms.
Jin seemed as happy as ever, his tail wagging even though he now had the apperance of a drowned rat.

Reed was in side messing with his hair when Ying-Ying came in to the same room, “Reed, why is Miss Jialing in the dog tub…With the dog?” She asked folding her arms. Reed shifted his eyes, “Uh…She must have… slipped,” He lied still shifting his eyes. Ying-Ying tapped her foot, “Reed…What did you do?” Ying-Ying said still tapping her foot. Reed changed his view to Ying-Ying, “Well…-” “Reed! You wanna come play?” Soongie asked/yelled from the play room. Reed let out a sigh of relief then continuing his sentence, “Well, I don’t want to keep the little one waiting,” Reed quickly replied racing out of the room. “Reed!” Ying-Ying scolded.
Ying-Ying picked up a few rags and a towel. She walked out side and held them out to Jialing, “The towel is for you and the rags are for the hound,” She said smiling, “And I probably should apologize for Reed. He is sometimes very rude. The boy’s probably over whelmed with all the gorgeous women around him,” Ying-Ying said chuckling. “So after you wash Jin, are you going to go into the city? There are nice shops and you could by some more clothes or something for you little friend, Jin, to eat,” Ying-Ying suggested.

No worse for wear, Jialing had already started to scrub down Jin. Her hands were busy at work picking the burrs and ripping out the mats of hair from his coat. This would be a while..
Happily sitting outside the tub now, Jialing was working on the hair along Jin's back when Ying Ying approached her. She turned around to hear the woman's voice, catching the towel and the rags quickly with surprise. She was about to speak, saying She'd get Reed back for this.. when she stopped. "Gorgeous..?" A neverous laughter... "You gotta be kidding me." She shook her head, her wet hair sticking to her forehead and cheeks. Yeah.. they were going into the city. Jialing probably wouldn't get herself any new clothes.. more arrows is anything. She needed those.. of course, she had no Money and Reed wasn't going to be paying her anytime soon. The young woman sighed, standing up to shake the soap from her hands. "...I dunno.."

Ying-Ying put an arm around Jialing’s shoulders and held her in to a hug, “Nonsense, you are VERY beautiful. Why, I bet Reed is inside talking to the little one about how much he likes you!” Ying-Ying said lightening the moment. Reed swirled his finger in the water of a fish bowl, “Any second now the fish will cling to m finger, you’ll see,” Reed said chuckling. Soongie tilted his head, “Fish don’t bite, because they doesn’t have teeths,” He said pulling on Reed’s shirt. Reed pulled his finger out of the bowl and sat on the floor as Soongie sat on his lap, “What has your mother been telling you? Fish can bite,” He said looking down to Soongie. “Right, and you’re weally the Avatar,” Soongie laughed. “No really. Even ask Jialing, she was there with me,” Reed started as he told the whole story.
“Is Jialing your sister?” Soongie asked curious. Reed eyed Soongie funnily, “No…. Where’d you get that idea? Is your mother teaching you this?” “’Cause you both always play with each other,” Soongie said poking his fingers together. Reed laughed, “She not my sister, she’s just a good friend.” “Are you going to marry her?” Reed slapped his forehead, “You’re mother is teaching you this stuff...” He said taking Soongie off his lap and standing up and leaving the room. “Reeed??? Where ya going? Can I come??” Soongie said chasing after him.
Reed walked in on Jialing and Ying-Ying, “So we go’n or am I just go’n?”

Jialing shot her tongue out at Reed, her soft brown eyes once again going hard. She torn out of Ying-Ying's reassuring hug, her arms failing to the side. As her fingertips came to her head, she shook it. Wet strands of hair flew abount her face. She crunched up her nose in digust, droplets of water flying about as she tore her hands downward. "You are a turisia behind, Reed! Ugh!" She spat her words out at him, walking past him in a huff.
Jin, still in the tub and covered with suds started to whine.. only to give a bark Jialing's way. The young woman stopped, her shoulders relaxing as her arms fell to her side. Jin was right.
Jialing began to laugh, her shoulders shaking with the first quiet breaths before she turned around. A smile was on her face as she patted her tigh. "C'mon Jin! We gotta beat Reed to the races!"

Reed held in a laugh as Jialing huffed. ‘She huffed? How does, better yet, how could one huff? Ha ha ha!’
As Jialing began to shake from laughter Reed backed away a bit, “You’ve gone completely mad, haven’t you?” Ying-Ying threw a shoe at Reed, “Reed! Now I want YOU to buy Jialing some new clothes, and some shoes and what ever else she would like,” Ying-Ying commanded. Reed’s jaw dropped, “What!?” “NOW Reed!” Ying-Ying said throwing another shoes at him, “Fine! I’m going!”
When Jialing stated, “..C'mon Jin! We gotta beat Reed to the races!.." Reed held on to her shirt, “Good luck finding ‘em. You have to go buy clothe, so Ying-Ying will stop throwing shoes at me. THEN you can beat me to the races,” Reed said leading to them, and Jin, out side.
Reed leaped onto Zhen and took the reins and turned him towards the streets, “Come on, Jia. And don’t let you ride run through the city, these people actually don’t deserve it.”

"Oh fine.." Jialing would mutter as she worked Niu's reins back though their loops, untying the turisia. She grew quiet after a moment. Her head was lowered, pressed against the arching neck of the creature. The scales were cool against her skin, as the Island was not exactly below tropical. She sighed.. "Reed, are we ever going to get back to the mainland?" As lovely as their stay had been.. Jialing didn't feel right to be here, in this lovely home. She missed her dirt covered forest floors, surprisingly. She missed camping up in a tree branch... all those.. strange things. The young woman turned her Turisia away from the porch, skillfully mounting the strange lizard. She turned, whistling sharply. Jin, still wet, but now free of burrs and most of the dirt, came bounding over. Planting his feet in the ground, A ripple ran through his body. His long hair shot outward, followed by a cold spray of water.

Reed rode beside Jialing. "Well, we have to make some more money first to get off the island. The we would probably get off and sail to the main land," Reed explained. The party soon entered a small village of shops and stands, and markets. Reed came to a stop on Zhen and jumped off, once again tying him to a post out sdie of a store. Reed pointed in to the store, "We can start here. They have some nice things last time I checked. And once you find some clothing, "Reed tossed her a money pouch with about six or seven silver pieces, "Just buy 'em and let's go, ok? Now go on and 'mozy' for clothe. Oh yes, and beware of the store manager. She's crazy. No seriously, I think she's crazy..But she's nice..So beware," Reed said leading the two into the store. "Whhhhoooo iiss iiiitt? ?" Someone called in a sing-a-long voice. "A customer that doesn't want to be here.." Reed said under his breath. "Who?" The voice once again called. "Oh ,uh, Reed!" He called a woman came quickly emerging from a pile of clothing. "Oh Reed! Is that you!" She gasped, "And who's your friend!?" "This is Jialing and-" "Jialing Welcome!I'm Kichie!" She said embracing the woman, "Now you look like you're in need of some nice clothe, dear!" She said pulling Jialing in the the back of teh store and through the racks of clothes. "We'llll be back in a minute!" The woman said once again in a sing-a-long voice. "Alright, take your time with her, Kichie!" HE called back looking at a part of boots.

"..Wha?! Wait.. no!" Jialing screeched, her arms flying out and grasping onto the wooden frame of the door. What was with all these women wanting to dress her up like some sort of doll?! She put her back into it, her ankles firmly planted against the wood floor. "...I ...will not.. play... dressup!" She whined, tilting her head back in protest! Jin danced excitedly at her feet, barking and whining as if he thought this was all in play. Jialing threw a pathetic look back to Reed as her grip finally failed her. The girl stumbled forward under the force of Kichie and vanished inside the store. She froze on the spot, her limbs snapping to her sides. She had already received new clothes from Ying Ying.. she didn't need anymore!

Reed quietly left the shop for a few minutes and stood out side. Nothing much to do when a girl is shopping...
It had been about a half an hour and Reed desided to step back in to the shop. Reed walked through the store to the back of the shop going through piles and piles and piles of clothes. When he finally emerged he thought he saw Jialing. With a tap on teh shoulder and a smile as he thought it was in fact Jialing it turned out to be none other than the shop owner's daughter. Reed nervously chuckled, "Sorry...I thought you were someone else.." He said puting his hand behind his head and continueing his way..'Opps..." he thoughtas he once again made his way through all teh clothes and seeing the real Jialing. "Hey Jialing. Didn't think I left forever did ya?"

Her brown eyes twitched as a visible vein pulsed in her forehead. Jialing was NOT a happy camper. Kichie was flitting around her, tying ribbons here and there. Jialing's now clean hair had been brushed and pulled up into two buns on the side of her hair. Jade-green ribbons were tied around them, held with gold flower clips. Small strands had been curled to hang in her face, set off beautifuly by that deeply creased frown. It seemed that Kichie had also taken liberties with Jialing's clothing.. picking a silky summer kimono whose obi was pulled FAR too tightly. With her arms at her side, the long sleeves with their soft feather-print drug on the ground. The kimono's hem too fell over her white socks, dragging along the ground. It was obvious that she hadn't had time to don the geta yet. "REED! GET THIS CRAZY WOMAN OFF OF ME NOW!"

Reed winced as teh words flew, loudly, out of Jialing's mouth. Kichie frowned and back away slowly in to the back room. Reed slapped his fore head, "Nice going,JIaling. Now she's drepressed......Smart move," he sarcastically finished with a two- thumbs- up. "Just buy some thing and she will go back to normal."....Reed snapped his fingers. "I know what to do!" Reed said walking off to another end off the store. Haha...that was fun i'm glad kichie didn't explode.....Like last time.. Reed shivered at the thought.
Reed whisled while waiting for Jialing, eithre to A: Take off her kimono B: trying to find some thing to buy or C: not really doing any thing. Then an elderly man sat in a rocking chair next to him. "Waiting for some one too?" he asked with a slur. "Yeah...Women, huh?" "Son," The old man started," Don't even get me started."

After what seemingly was only a few minutes, Jialing emerged from the shop, tearing at the jade green ribbons in her hair. She had re-dressed in her clothing which she had loan from Ying Ying orginally. Her brown eyes quickly found Reed and she shot him a glare worthy of the Fire Lord himself. However, she did not say a word to him, stepping past him. Jin was at her heels, his long golden fur swishing from his legs and tail. He stopped and looked at Reed, his ears rising up and then dropping as he looked between Reed and Jia.
Jialing was fed up with him. Fed up with him leading her around to all these crazy women and then abandoning her. Well.. She'd abandon him! Tearing the last ribbon from her hair, she flung it on the ground and whipped around. "Come on Jin!" The pup gave one last fleeting look to Reed, wondering why he wasn't coming with them before bounding off to hear Jialing's angry voice.

Reed watched as Jialing exited the shop She's mad he thought. Jialing now glared as she walked past him . Reed rolled his eyes Greeeeaaaaattttttt....Now she's giving me the silent treatment. Eh, she'll get over it soon..
Reed looked to Jin who was by him at the moment. With a small smile and the terrifing roar of Jialing Reed gave Jin a slight pat. "I'm go'n for walk," Reed said as he gave a slight wave to ,the still as angry as ever, Jialing before putting his hands in his pocket.
A heavy breeze rolled in. The leaves on the trees roughly fought against the wind. Reed was now on a dirt road by the outskirts of the town. Trees to the left of him and high fields to the right. A large sigh made it past his lips as he sat on the hill down on a hill covered in cool tall grass. The crimson sun was starting to set as the bright light reflected off his face and the wind coninued o blow his hair. A beautiful scene.

A few hours had passed since they'd gone their seperate ways. Jialing and Jin had taken to the trees like the recluses they were. The west road out of the town headed towards the ocean. A rolling field to one side, the forest to the other side. Jialing had managed to climb onto a high branch, her back pressed against the trunk as she straddled the thick branch under her. Her hair, surprisingly still straight and tame, was pulled over her shoulders, and draping the high collar of the ivory colored tunic she wore. Oh she couldn't wait to get out of these fancy clothes and into her old ones. Her brown eyes were still dim, clouded by her anger at that stupid idiot. In her hands, she held a thick rope, waterlogged and turned green by the ocean. She had salvaged it, along with some other things from their make-shift raft when Reed's boat had gotten caught in the storm. Now she sat, tying and untying the same knot over and over again. If she had her quiver and knife, she would have been carving arrows, but she had left those at Ying Ying's manor.
Jin let out a sigh through the side of his mouth. The dog was infront of her, lying across the branch with his four legs hanging down. It had been a comical sight watching Jin climb the tree, always way. Jialing remebered when he was a puppy, carrying him in a sling at her hip as she climbed, only letting him try it by himself when he was nearly a year old. Jin's head perked suddenly, drawing Jialing's attention from her aimless knot tying. Oh the irony. She pursed her lips, face drawing into a frown as low and be hold.. Reed, King of all that is Oblivious and Stupid had just sauntered into the field. ....Lovely.
