For being a sword-obsessed tween with a penchant for hording junk and a defiance of all logic.

Gender:
Female
Group:
Traveler I wasn't aware lone wanderers were considered a coherent group... Perhaps this is the beginning of Time-Share in the Avaverse
Nation:
Fire Nation
Bender?:
No, Swords Master
Physical Appearance:
Tori is a very-well groomed girl, despite her family's money (So despite being a rich girl, we are supposed to be surprised that she doesn't have split-ends? >.>). The girl always has short, washed hair, and glowing white skin that sparkles in the pale moonlight like a thousand tiny diamonds reflecting pools of sapphire blue water on the moons of Nepture during the Winter Solstice on the day of the Feast of a Thousand Hams! . Tori loves to put her bleach blond sue hair up in a black ribbon, which reviles her beautiful brown eyes. Tori stands at a 4'10 weighing only 85 lbs.
Tori is developing as a woman, which means her chest, her height, and her body parts such as her feet and hands are growing at an exponential rate. Soon she will have trashcan lid-sized extremeties that will take everyone's attention away from her sue-ishly perky bosom! Tori is embarrassed by these, but
Clothing/Armor:
Tori and her father can not always afford clothes from each nation (it's wierd how mass genocide can make other nations hesitant to sell you a T-shirt), with traveling expenses, and sword-making materials. So Tori simply wears a brown-stripped cape
Weapons:
Tori has special-made duel double swords that are used for dueling and there are two of them and they are bedazzled with purple sequins that make them Speshul!. At the age of 10, she roughly made them, with the help of her father (Tori: Daddy? Where'd you put the BIG hammer? This edge bevel's being mean!). At the end in an engraving 'Fly Bird', which is her name. Traveling around the world has given her practice, and different materials to add to her sword which is a perfectly natural and feasible practice.... At the age of 13, the girl melted gold coins into the etchings, making her name gold on her swords. Does the concept of 'Adult Supervision' mean anything in the
Personality:
Tori is a very high spirited young girl, who holds fighting close to her heart and a bottle of head and shoulders close to her hair. She is shy around everyone she doesn't know well which is about 99.99999% of the population, and is quick to make friends. Tori is intelligent, which helps her in battle but not in school, because she was expelled for shanking her classmate with a sword she forged out of materials she found in her locker. She enjoys gymnastics, which she incorporates into her fighting. She is new to boys and does not handle flirting well. She is known to blush a lot, and stumble over her Swords and die.
Tori is impatient, though, and when angry, gets a sharp attitude like her swords. She hates show-offs, even though she shows off sometimes herself with her swords. Tori is hardheaded sometimes, and will not give up without a fight to the death, with swords. The girl is a double-edged blade ...like a sword, you never know who she is until you know her (Isn't that applicable to EVERYONE?). Along with this, comes major mood-swings and swings of a sword. Her shyness disappears a lot, when she is angry, or sad.
................SWORD!
Background:
Tori was born on a cold, windy day in the Fire Nation. Whether this is symbolic or not, no one knows.(I know... and no, it didn't matter at all...) Shortly after her birth, her mother and father started up a sword-making business because nothing makes a home childproof like a burning forge or racks of 3 foot razor blades , so swords became second nature to hand-fighting. Her family traveled all over the world making special deliveries, taking with them their forge, stock metals, anvils, hammers, grinding wheels, files....., and so Tori never made many friends before she left.
At the age of 3, Tori had begun to talk fluently. She could mimic words, clapping her hands as she said them. It was then, she began to develop her shyness through rigorous practice, having to do with meeting so many new people everyday. At the age of 5, Tori's mother began to teach her things a school would on the road. Because of this, Tori became very intelligent ecause her mother got her Ph.D online at DeVry, and fell in love with reading. She could read very well at the age of 7, and began reading thicker, older books. She had plenty to read on her travels all over the 3 nations. They had a grand ol' time in the Northern Water Tribe... because, you know... they totally made it to the North Pole without a problem. To calm her curiosity, her parents never told her about the Air Temples. They were gone anyways, there was no point.
At the age of 10, Tori made her life-long partners in fighting, her duel double swords which were so vague and nondescript that her opponents simply didn't know what she was wielding!. With her father's help of course. At the end of the left one, the word 'Sky' was etched into it. And on the right one, the word 'Bird' was as well. This was her name; Tori meant Bird, and Tenkuu meant Sky.(...So why didn't they write the words 'Tori' and 'Tenkuu'? Because... that's her name. >.>) Traveling around the world has given her practice in sitting in a wagon for hours and hours, and different materials to add to her sword like runes and gemstones to make it a +6 Holy Avernger sword with magical disintegration and super effectiveness against Ghost-type Pokémon. At the age of 13, the girl melted gold coins into the etchings, making her name gold on her swords. She began helping her father make swords, and became very good at
Now, Tori helps her father make the swords, and even does some simple ones herself. She is not as good as her father, but she is getting there, along with her swords handeling skills. Sadly, very recently, Tori's mother came down with a life-threatening disease. Not long after, her mother died. This devestated Tori, but it did not hold her down. She knew her mother would not want that. Instead she knew her mom would want her to go on and find the Avatar and help him take down the Fire lord, which has suddenly become her lifelong ambition....... Oh, c'mon, you know you were thinking it. >.>
Sample RP:
So many new people, thought Tori. The young, bleach blond teen walked the streets of the Fire Nation Capital City unsupervides and wearing nothing but a single layer of translucent bandage wrapping for a shirt, looking for the Ureshii residence. In her hands, a wrapped shape of a sword (Does the lack of an action verb in this sentence make anyone else want to kill a puppy?. This particular sword cost her family a lot to make, three dock tokens from the Earth Kingdom, an elephant's eye, and a speed limit sign that ends in a number other than 5 or 0 , so it must be a rich family that ordered such an expensive piece of work. Finally, the girl stumbled upon the unmistakable house of the family, not only was it big, and wealthy looking, it also said the Ureshii family. =/ (Funny that she didn't just read the sign first... Maybe her mom's home schooling didn't make her so intelligent.)
Entering the black, steel gates, Tori ran up to the door, the path to the entrance of the house was much to long for her patience to stand. (How would Standing still help her make it to the door to begin with? >.>) Knocking on the door, it swung open to reviel a heavy-set man. The man was bald, with tuffs of black hair on the sides of his head. His eyes were surrounded by black-rimmed frames. Presenting the sword to the man, Tori stumbled her Swords out in the open and disembowelled down the doorman. H-here you go sir. The peronalized, hand-crafted sword you ordered. Thank you, he answered in an unexpected humble tone. Paying the girl, he closed the door slowly. Running back to her father, Tori held the precious gold pieces in the valuable-looking velvet pouch it was given in.
Smiling, Tori gave the pouch to her father, requesting to keep the pouch. As her wish was granted, she took the pouch, and placed it in a pocket underneath her cape. It was perfect to hold whatever various items she acquired throughout her traveling that she would later hit with a hammer until they magically welded themselves to her swords in a freak aberration of all that metallurgy has taught us. As the sun set on that day, Tori and her father closed their eyes, tumbling into slumber. Someone! Quick! Call social services! O.o
