For being a psychotic Katara-Suki ripoff with the originality of a damp gray sponge.
Misted by Ryota
Name:[/u] Kithara Juong o.0...Yeah, that's not a ripoff of "Katara" *snorts* I wonder if the character is also a Katara clone.
Age:[/u] Fifteen Close to Katara's age, too. Getting warmer!
Gender:[/u] Female Warmer!
Nation:[/u] Southern Water Tribe Warmer!
Bender?:[/u] She does not know yet. Can you say "Crutch"? Pfft. This was probably during the great bender ban of '06, and the gal's developing bending skills would play out in her RPs despite the fact that children learn of their bending abilities at a very young age. Pathetic.
Physical Appearance:[/u] Black hair that reaches below her waist. Cornflower blue eyes. Tan skin. 5'3". Lips are a rosy color. Average-size. What is average-size? o.0; Hair is usually worn in a long braid that is then tucked into a loop. Hmm. Braids and loops? Sounds strangely Katara-like to me...
Clothing/Armor:[/u] Wears a kimono-like dress At least she didn't call it a kimono..., although it only goes just below her knees. A black bodysuit is underneath. I'm almost afraid to ask why...is she secretly Catwoman or something? Boots are small - they often hurt her feet, a light tan. They have a fur trim around them. Everyone loves when random fur trim floats around something! When she isn't traveling to the local Bed, Bath, and Beyond, and is at home in the South Pole she is wearing a long, lilac colored parka. Lilac-scented, too! She bought it at the local Bed, Bath, and Beyond. ^^
Weapons:[/u] Two blue fans with the Southern Water Tribe insignia on the fans and handles. Wait, wait...what? Now she's sounding like a Suki ripoff... Usually hidden inside the long sleeves of her kimono top. Suspiciously like Mai does with her weapons. Daaang, how many characters can one OC plagiarize?
Personality:[/u] Kithara is a tough cookie. Blech. I hate tough cookies. They're hard to chew. She hates to be bothered, and is usually seen throwing her fans at the snowmen the children make. Poor Southern Tribe children. They're terrorized by an insane Katara-Suki clone who throws weapons for no reason. But when she is in the mood, she'll be a jokester. Of course, Kithara hates to be messed with when she is meditating as well. Kithara is clumsy. You'll see her trying to help her mother but then she'll trip over nothing. Probably her fans she needlessly threw at snowmen. She is also very easily angered, and even the tiniest thing can cause her to go into a rage of fits.
Background:[/u] Kithara was born during the summer solstice in the South Pole to Katina, which is also totally not a ripoff of "Katara", and Juno, queen of Roman deities, Juong. Her father was a Waterbender, yet he disappeared in the war. He fell through a wormhole. Now it is up to Kithara and her mother, resident Katara wannabes, to take care of the home and help about the tiny village. Despite the fact that there are many other Southern Water Tribe women to do such things...
Kithara was usually seen sitting right outside her home moping about As one may or may not expect from an emo!Sue, not being able to see her father the plot device. She seemed to be a depressive emo!Sue child, and when she turned ten, she made her own weapons. She wanted to be like her father, even though she didn't have Waterbending powers yet. Or did the mun forget that her character doesn't know yet? Do I sense inconsistency?. Her mother showed her two weapons that the Kyoshi Warriors gave her when she was traveling from her home in the North Pole to marry Kithara's father. Wait, what? Kyoshi Warriors don't live in the North Pole, dear. And which parent lived in the North Pole? This makes no sense! I also sense another connection to Katara in the whole "Traveling to their sister tribe" deal. Where has all the originality gone?! T_T Kithara then knew that she could be a warrior, without Waterbending. So now she's looking more like Suki. Except Suki isn't emo and mentally deranged...
Now fifteen, just a year older than Katara, mind you! , Kithara still keeps to herself, except when she freaks out and throws fans at children and snowmen, but she has a few friends about the village at whom she will also throw fans. She'll be seen out in her mother's boat trying to fish by throwing fans at the fish below the surface, but thanks to her clumsiness, she'll come back soaking wet with a tiny guppy or Choi Koi. Don't forget good ol' Choi Koi! =D, if she's lucky, that is. Well, du-uh! You can't fish very well if you don't use a spear, silly girl.

The sunlight shone into the tiny window, causing the young girl to put her pillow over her face. She and I groaned at the lack of originality in this profile. It was another morning in the South Pole, and she had a lot of chores to do. Why couldn't she be a boy and a Waterbender and be off at war right now? Yeah...because we all know how many waterbending Southerners exist. *coughs*Y'know, if I had at least some chance of being a waterbender, I'd keep some sort of hope alive that I'd find out someday... It was stupid enough that she had to follow the little children around in the village and watch them. Now she had chores to do.
Kithara, the super-duper amazing fan-throwing NON-Katara clone, sat up, mumbling nonsensical words that proved her insanity when she saw her mother walk in, ready for the day. Her long, black hair was in tangles, as usual. Katina Hey, I just noticed something; If you add the first three letters of Katina to the last three letters of Kithara, you get the name Katara. Coincidence? No. No, it's not. Not one bit. Don't even contest that fact. clicked her tongue when she saw her daughter's appearance.
"I know, mother. I know," Kithara grumbled. "I'll clean up and get ready before breakfast."
As soon as her mother left, Kithara pulled herself out of bed, but slipped on some melted ice Which would be called "water". She fell face forward onto the ground, cursing to herself. That was the sixth time that week she had slipped. She was going to be a bruise before the end of the month thanks to her suddenly-acquired shapeshifting powers. Kithara grabbed her kimono top and pulled it over her head, tying the large bow in the back. Quickly brushing her hair, braiding it, then putting it in the usual loop, Kithara ran out of her room to the kitchen.
"Great, biscuits and fish. Again," she muttered, shoving the food in her mouth then reaching for her unnecessary fans on the table. "I'll be heading out to do chores after I do a bit of unnecessary practice with weapons she wouldn't have in the first place."
Kithara was already out the door before her mother could protest. She gave a sigh when she was able to finally punch a snowman. She had to let her anger out. The night before a few boys decided to pick a fight with her. Turned out they were advanced and decided to beat her. Luckily her mother hadn't found out what she had done I'm sorry...I don't think I ever found out what she did. Did she toss her fans at those boys or something?. Kithara, predictably enough, threw her fans towards another snowman, the head flying off perfectly. Someone should call the Society for Ethical Treatment of Snowmen...this Katara-Suki clone is just plain bizarre. She ran to pick up her fan, smiling as she watched the metal shine in the light. Mmhmm. She was somehow able to find metal to make her Kyoshi Warrior-esque fans even though she lives in the South Pole. That makes sense. She was ready to fight. But when, she would never know. And I'm afraid I still don't know what she's blathering about.
