*sighs* That couple just kinda bothers me. Its not like I'm aganst people who are Zutara shippers, but I'm more of a Kataang person. Of course, watch the obvious happen: Katara gets captured by Zuko for some reason (most likely for hostage to get Aang of course) and Katara and Zuko start crushing, ect, ect, ect. I will be sad if that happens...
I wouldn't mind though if Katara was captured and not exactly crush on Zuko, but maybe learn more about him. I think she would just have a different point of veiw if she knew what happened with Zuko's past and maybe understand more. Anyway...
*end rant*

I am a Zutara fan.. but I hate it when the obvious happens. This relationship in order to suceed would basically have to have the two of them tear eachother apart.. discover eachother's deepest parts of who they are.. and rebuild eachother back up.
Least that's my theory..

I would be upset if Avatar took the typical idea of 99%of fanfiction in which Katara gets captured... so on and so forth. I have higher expectations of originality.

I think that, if anything, Katara and Zuko will... *cringe* like each other (Zuko will have to join the group first, of course, and that's looking more and more likely to happen... I mean, where else can he go, especialy if Iroh dies?) and have a little... *more cringe* Romance... and of course Aangy won't like it one bit. Then, by the end of the series Aang will admit to Katara that he loves her, and then he'll go off to fight Ozai. I dunno what could happen then. Yeah, I know, lame theory, but it's all I got, and atleast I can say I called it! ^^
But I'm not all that worried about shippingments, to be honest... I'm more worried about the stated darker-depthness of “expect the unexpected” thingy. Part of me says "Yaay, Avatar's going hardcore!", but the other part says "Iroh's gonna die... WAAAA!"

I find it so strange that so many people are kataang fans and yet there are so many zutara fanfics. I personally dislike zutaras also, but I must admit it does sort of make sense. But then again if Katara was paired off with anyone it would somehow make sense, since she is like.. the only reoccuring girl. Makes me kinda mad. haha oh well. Did ya know that theres actually an online petition against the zutara pairing..I guess they're going to send it to nickolodean or something? I dunno but I thought that was kinda funny.

Dude, where there's a shipping, there's a petition. It won't change the writers minds though- they're going to write their story the way they want it no matter what... at least, I hope so. I dun want Mike and Brian selling out, but they don't seem to be the selling-out type. Who knows, maybe the director is a Zutara in denial and is throwing all of us off. XCD |

Haven't you ever heard of the comic relief? If Sokka wasn't there, would you enjoy Avatar half as much? I wouldn't. Sokka's there because not only of his wit, but because he's there to symbolize the human in all of us. Sokka's there to represent the nonbenders in the world. The common ones. The human part in all of us who are far from perfect, but have the will to succeed. He's very crucial in the series and in the whole meaning of Avatar. ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... Why can you make me look sooooo stupid sooooo easily...? ... DON'T CARE! He's dying somtime or another... ;D AND OMG. Zutara? NOOOOOOOOOOOO!  ... ... ... If they do that... then I'll um... Zutara? Eh. I'm not against it. If they can pull it off, and pull it off well, than more power to 'em. The only reason I partially dislike it is because I don't want to see Aang's heart get broken. |
