I have absolutely no problem with Zutara since it's starting to grow on me. I can't see Katara and Aang together since Aang's a goofy kid and Katara's a bit mature. Well, we'll see what happens in the next season.
If they put Zuko and Katara together.. then they'll have to pull it off well. >_> We can't have Katara randomly fall in love with him.. Zuko has to at least PROVE[/b] that he isn't bent on getting Aang because she can..
But, I strongly feel that it will happen. After all, in the episode 'The Fortune Teller', Aunt Wu said that Katara would fall in love with a powerful bender. Not only Aang is a powerful bender, so is Zuko.

Couldn't it happen like she DOES fall in love with him, but Zuko just uses her to get Aang, and she ends up liking Aang?

D: I don't think Katara would fall in love with him at the drop of a hat, Zuko has to prove that he is good before that would happen. Would you just randomly fall in love with an enemy?

*cough*Which is what my fanfic is about *Cough*
I think Zuko is a honorable young man who is brave and very will to sacrifice everything. He truly does care and he is capable of love, but it is hidden under so much pain. I think.. that needs to be gradually worn away from him and then Katara can fall for him. We've already seen his walls weakening in the first season.. I think season two we will absolutely see them destoryed.

Now that I think about it.. I probably would if it was Zuko. -cough- I also agree about Zuko finally realizing even IF he gets Aang, his father most likely won't let him back into the Fire Nation. Like Zhao said: 'Even if you didn't have the Avatar, your father would let you back onto the throne. But, he hasn't, has he? Obviously, he doesn't care.' Though everyone doesn't think that Zuko will turn good and probably fall in love with Katara.. I totally believe it. ^^

Did I say that this all happens next season? I said that is a possibility. It could take THREE seasons to happen for all I know.

Well, if the creators do put Zuko and Katara together in the next season...they better do it right. I mean, the relationship with Yue and Sokka was a little irking in some parts due to the well...innocence of it. But then again, this is Zuko we are mostly talking about, so hopefully it won't be too incredibly painful. Zuko will hopefully (and more than likely) add drama rather than innocence. But...Zutara still seems awkward.

That's the one and only reason that I don't think it will happen. I mean, Zutara sets the end up to be a kind of tragedy for Aang. It's on NICKELODION people, they can't have SAD ENDINGS... (Even if I think they should...

I'm not sure if you should be stereotyping Nick like that. Well. Not Avatar.
Sure, little happy things are most common, but with Avatar, haven't things been different from the standards of Nick-dom? That's one of the things that got so many of us interested. Because it was different. And Nick wanted it to be different. They asked for it for something different. So I think we should raise our expectations a bit higher. And remember the little article?
Expect the unexpected.

Okay, here's my views. I really don't think that Iroh will die until the very last season. Think, guys, Iroh is the only guide that Zuko has in this world, his only real family. Losing him would totally screw him. And the whole show would be ka-put.
Also, I don't think that they will actually go for a shipping part in the show. At least, not yet. Seriously, starting a romance (Kataang or Zutara) would ward off a lot of publicity that the show has. People would stop watching it, and while ATLA is a great show, it's part of a money-seeking company. Just something to keep in mind.
Zutara h8rs 4 life
Katara h8rs 4 life
Zuko fangirls 4 life
^Fwah, just my own evil opinions.

I can't see Kataang happening. Aang is just a kid, and this is probably nothing more than a crush that he has on Katara. I think that Aang will grow out of the crush at some point, and then Aang and Katara will continue to be friends.
As for Zutara, it makes more sense (to me) because both Katara and Zuko are, for the most part, mature. However, this will have to be dealt with delicately.
Honestly, I don't want any relationships in the show. At least not now. I guess it would be nice for the last season, but for now, it's best to stay away from the shipping.

I have some bad news, guys. I've been talking to the owner of DF, pooldude (who's really good at finding out information about Avatar and what's true and what's not) and it turns out that interview was just a guy trying to attract attention to himself. It's a bunch of sausage basically...
Sorry to crush high spirits, but I still think we can expect good things from this season.
