Part of him expected Ravi to lash out in anger, taking his actions into full consideration. He could only brace himself for the worst when Ravi unleashed his fury. Almost dropping his sanxian to the side, he winced once or twice at all the yelling. It left him with very little chance to reply at first. Taking the time to listen, he let out a sigh after all those blows were dealt to his heartstrings. The last thing Ravi said was the very thing that lead Azar back to his lover in the first place.
It soon came Azar's turn for a rebuttal. Crossing his arms, entirely sure not to appear as effeminate as Ravi, he took a step forward despite his apprehension. "Look..."
But he couldn't keep up the guise. Taking a deep breath, his downtrodden feelings were clear as a blue sky. "I don't want you to change. There's nothing to change. I like...no, love you for who you are."
Taking another step forward, he held out his hand, hoping for Ravi to take hold of it. His sanxian at his side, he felt strangely compelled to bear the same cherubic grin that won Ravi's heart before. "Yes, Ravi. I love you. It took me till now to realize it, but I'm sure of it..."

Ravi still was upset but when Azar said that he loved for who he is. He was about to be supicious. When sighed and gave him the benfit of the doubt. He remember what Xio Kai said. Some men just weren't faithful.
"I hope I don't regret this." Ravi said taking his hand. He looked at the sandy ground with a sigh. He squeezed it and looked at Azar.
"I'll give you a second chance." Ravi lead Azar over too the tree he was sitting at hand sat down agian.
"It's pretty late out. Do you think we should call it a day and get to bed. I mean this was pretty long day." Ravi sighed as he looked at the shore. Stand up he picked up shells still trying to make conversations.
"So what changed your mind about me? What made me your....last resort? Ravi picked up a conch and studied it as he carried it over and placed it in his spot. He continued to look for more shells.

Azar was relieved when Ravi took his hand, but hostility and uncertainty emanated from his words like light from a flame. Allowing his eyes to drift downward, Azar followed two slow steps behind as Ravi started down the beach. As Ravi picked up shells, Azar looked up and down his sanxian casually as he held it before himself. But his gaze soon drifted to Ravi at his inquiry. "You're not my 'last resort'..."
Settling his instrument on a nearby flat rock, absently wondering where the vest he wore earlier that day had run off to, he ran his fingers through his hair. He was about to wrap his arms around Ravi's waist or the like, but it seemed like he didn't want to be touched. Azar tried his best to respect that. Instead he stood to the side, seating himself next to his sanxian on the rock. "Look...you've never asked me to change. You don't complain about me, and...I like that."
Azar didn't know what else to say. The words that escaped his mouth sounded so strange, almost wrong, but he knew it was for the best. Sighing, he said; "It was my last 'encounter'. He made me realize a few things about myself. It was kind of sobering."
Leaning back more on the rock, his broad back pressed to the surface, he looked to the darkening sky where stars began to light the night. Putting his hands behind his head, he let his eyelids drift shut. "My whole time here has been one big revelation, really. Especially when you were so willing to forgive me, and I was nothing but an asshole."
Leaning up again, he felt a tint of sadness as he took another deep breath. The very thought of what he contemplated made his heart beat a little faster. "I even thought of throwing myself into the ocean at one point because of what I had done. I still don't know if I'm good enough for you..."

Ravi walked down the shores picking up more shells. He vollyed conversation. "Look...you've never asked me to change. You don't complain about me, and...I like that."
"Why would I be a hypocrite? I tell people to be themselves, and then tell you to change. I you're fine for who you are." Looking at he water he played with the surf.
"My whole time here has been one big revelation, really. Especially when you were so willing to forgive me, and I was nothing but an asshole."
"You were an asshole, I am not going to deny that. But that doesn't mean I shouldn't for give you." Ravi walked over and sat down agian wrapping his arms around him he leaned againsted him and sighed.
"and you're right you're not good enough. But I don't want someone better...I just want you." To seal what he said he leaned over and kissed his cheek.
"I love you and I ment it."

Ah, how tender the moment would have been. That warm embrace, watching the sunset together after resolving their problems, sealing the deal with a kiss. But Azar didn't feel right solely because of Ravi's concluding words. Did he really think that? Did Ravi actually feel that Azar wasn't good enough for him? Azar wound up ignoring most of what Ravi had said, comforting though it may have been. He almost felt like he was being mocked in some small way. But in a rare moment of humility, he forewent all sour and hurtful opinions. When it was over, Ravi returned Azar's sentiment with full sincerity.
Azar cracked a smile as Ravi lay against him, sliding his arm around his lover's waist. The warm glow of errant sunlight cast its array of warm colors across the shore, where the two lovers sat upon that smooth rock. And that was how it felt. Azar had never thought much about that aspect of love. Being with someone for reasons other than lustful desire or physical attraction, but all he knew is that it felt good. Almost soothing to know that someone valued his existence so highly. Gently running his fingers along the rim of Ravi's sarong, he gazed across the beach and let out a sigh before speaking. "Let's go back to the hotel now. Tomorrow will be a better day...I promise."

Sighing Ravi looked out among the waves knowing that he was happy now. Even if Azar was the unfaithful kind, he hoped that he could break that habit . Still looking back on this Ravi stil felt guilty. Yet he decided that guilt never fixed anything and walked forward.
Look up at Azar with eyes adoring him. He smiled before kissing him again. Everything did work out. Just like Xio Kai said. Sighing at that, he got up and helped Azar up. "Alright tommarrow it is." Ravi took Azar's hand and led him back to the hotel. Xio Kai saw them and smiled. He nodded at Ravi he lead Azar upstairs.
Now in the bedroom, Ravi began to undress taking off his top and shaking the sand. He undid is sarong and took his brush and started undo the tangles in his hair.
"So...um what do you want to do tommorrow?" he asked as he pour water into a basin to wash his face. "I can get you more flowers." He suggested after he was finished. Now cleaned up and washed he walked over and pulled the sheets out.
"I love you Azar." where his finall words as he went to sleep.
