I was doing some random boredom-research on Feng Shui.
I thought it was an amusing link (I didn't click it), but then I was lurking around ASN and found it again. I figured, hey, maybe it's a sign.

I was looking on some Avatar forum rpg top 100 site since the last one I was on died, and I think you were six on it. I looked over some of the other sites and thought 'erm...no?' And so I joined this one because it looked awesome.

Being a Sailor Moon freak, I'm a member of Jia's site, Court Intrigue. I love it there, but it started to get on my nerves that everyone there kept talking about Avatar. So finally, one day I gave in and decided to watch it. And the rest is history...
By the way, I'm proud to say that many a CI member comes from FS, but I'm the first FS member to come here from CI. >D Oh yeah. BSSM rocks.

I was actually looking for a old avatar game where you played as a generic bender. I then found another (dead) rp that I decided to join and get back into the rp scene. I forgot to favorite it so I searched for it again and found this eventually from webring.

I was at an Avatar guild on Gaia, and saw a thread for someone talking about starting a literate rpg. Someone there starting talking about Feng Shui and how it was a great rpg for following cannon and such. So I clicked on the link that person provided, and here I am.

Some of my other RP's ahve dried up or simply finished and I was feeling like trying something new so I figured why not try and Avatar RP.
Since I really liked the show and hadn't tried it out yet I figured it was a great idea, that is before I actually went searching for a decent place to RP.
Most are barelly organised, some have M'Sues and G'Stues crawling everywhere and some have the most power abusing set of mods I've ever met, these guys were seriously bad, most of them even had their own M'Sues or G'Stues to so it made even worse
I finally came upon this place and to my surprise its a place with a cohesive set of rules, good limitations on characters and a set of competant mods, more than I could even say for most RP sites, let alone Avatar sites....did I mention the number of ninjas that seem to show up in Avatar RP's, its insane
So yeah I just came upon this site after several attempts through google and a link from somewhere, not sure which site exactly anymore.

Said it in my Intro post but I could probably tell here too, it was mostly luck and random chance, I think. I just ran a Google Image Search for "Fire Nation" which popped up a picture of a fella in Chinese looking armor with the words "Fire Nation Military" under the picture so I thought I'd have a look and that took me here: fengshuirpg.proboards66.com/index.cgi?action=viewprofile&user=dian And there you have it! |

To be honnest I dont really remember how I got here. I was looking for a good avatar RPG and found this site on one of those rpgsite-collection sites.
At first I thought; 'wow, tough rules'
Then; 'Oh, its ok, rules arent bad'
Finally; 'Good! These'll keep the annoying people away!'
(All of this happened in about three seconds)

How did I find FS?
Well, let me tell you that a few years ago I was heavy into RPs and stumbled across the banner to this one on a Bleach RP (I think) and then started, but school got crazy and I stopped for a few years, then I came back today after a friend was telling me about the site (irl, not online) and I replied "I know that site! I used to be a member!"
In short, first by a banner and then by word-of-mouth.
