Kavik stared and didn't anything, but tugged on his bandages. "Whoo did a breeze pass by or what? Cause I'm feeling cold." He looked at his food and sighed. "Ah fudge-it!" He threw the spoon behind him and took the bowl to his lips and slurped." He slammed the bowl down which was half way gone and sloushed a bit when thrown.
"Twi's fins, I knew we have to continue a facade of malice." He lean back and looked the rising sun, "A golden sunrise is a sign of good fortune." Kavik cocked his head and gave an amused smile. " I understand why you don't want to tell anyone. I feel the same way, but to be honest, The next person to run in on use while we are..."showing affection?" Is not gonna be my sister."
Kavik smirked and sniffed the air. "Though. I probably can't help but to show affection. Since you still smell pretty, and I admit, it's has grown on me."

Hoji sighed again and picked up his food, only now fully realizing just how hungry he was. He dug into the meal, not really listening to Kavik, just nodding and paying little to no attention to his prattle.
However, the two words 'showing affection' had a very strong affect on the water bender. He blushed slightly, something that didn't happen often in his life, and put his now-empty bowl on the floor in front of him. He stared at his hands and then looked up at Kavik, the heat still fresh on his cheeks.
Hoji scowled. "It's your own fault I smell like a bride on her wedding day. If you hadn't poured that crap on me in the first place we probably wouldn't be so damaged right now." He glared at Kavik and then got an odd look on his face. "What were you doing with that perfume anyway? Good gods Kavik. You're even girlier than your sister says you are."

Kavik laughed. Rich and full of mirth. "Admit it. Using my nose to find you in the fog was a lot more clever that you expect from me." He shook his head and smirked at Hoji. "I don't know why I had the perfume, I think Ko-chan must have gotten our sachels mixed up. And put her perfume in my bag. Though if you think about it. Would you rather have me pour fish oil or wildflower oil on you. Both smell strong..but one has a nastier after-scent."
Kavik enjoyed talking to Hoji, it was true he felt a lot more confortable around him then he did with others. Feeling playful and tad bored. He took his both bowl and spoon. He scoop a bit in his spoon, and flinged it at the celing missing and hitting Hoji on the forehead.
"Oops! Sorry Hoji! I wasn't aiming at you."

Hoji raised an eyebrow and shook his head, clearly not believing his story about mixed-up satchels. If Kavik really did have his sisters bag then he would never had been able to find his skates in order to use that bending move they had learned. The elder boy rolled his eyes.
"Pride is a sin. At least I don't beg for compliments when I brag." Hoji said, sitting back comfortably against the icy wall. He watched Kavik talk through half-lidded eyes, tired suddenly, despite the rising sun.
The elder boy continued to watch Kavik, noting the way his limbs and face conveyed emotions almost perfectly, the coordination intertwining to make him seem like a dancer.
Hoji's eyes narrowed as something wet and slimy trickled down his forehead. The water bender reached up and wiped away the broth, glaring at Kavik.
"Jerk." he muttered, smiling slightly. With a snap and a wave of his hand a small stream of water detached itself from the wall and splashed Kavik in the face, making him look even more the drowned rat. Hoji smirked and laughed, lightly and under his breath.

Kavik shut his eyes and leaned in front of Hoji and shook his head hard. "HA! Now we are even!" Kavik lean back and grinned, "Heh, if pride is a sin, then I guess, you have to be damn to hell permently."
It was bizzare really, the duo normally argue or fight. But now, an understanding has passed. The duo now see something that wasn't there before. Was it..attraction?
Kavik slid next to Hoji. "Well...What now? They healers are gonna move us to the same room for convience and they should be here soon."
As if on cue a woman walked in and shook her head. "Come on boys lets get you back in bed. Hoji. We are moving your cot into Kavik room. It's easier and saves room. Are you ok with that?" Kavik rolled his eyes and gave a I told you so face at Hoji.

Hoji's eyes narrowed and he wiped the water from his face. He glared at Kavik but decided that maybe it was best not to retort, getting even colder was not high on his to-do list. He sighed and leaned back farther on the frame of the door. His eyes relaxed and then narrowed slightly again as Kavik slid next to him.
Listening to the younger boy he shrugged, not really caring where the healers put him as long as he could get a decent days sleep, all this drama had really taken a toll on his body. When the woman told Hoji of his new sleeping arrangements he took one look at Kavik and rolled his eyes. 'Great' He thought. 'As if the temptation isn't already there.'
Hoji stood up and slowly made his way down the hall to his new sleeping quarters. He looked back at Kavik and the woman, who was now offering Kavik her hand. "I call dibs on the bed near the door." He called behind him, resuming his unsteady gait toward the room.

Kavik with some help. Walked back to bed. He layed on his cot and faced the window. He was tired and need rest, he heard Hoji call something about getting the door. That didn't bother him at all. He prefered a window anyway. He looked out to see the pale blue skys and cool morning air. The sounds of people were everywhere.
"Ahhh, I love the sounds of morning." Said Kavik and he tried to keep his leg elevated. Hoji's bed was next him facing the door. "So what now? Do you wanna play game, we could tell stories about our families? I want to know about yours?" Kavik was a little sleepy...well very sleepy. But he was still curious about Hoji. What his family like, did he have siblings or pushy father and mother? Kavik wanted to know. Kavik leaned back and looked out the window..it look like it was going to snow soon.

Hoji made his way into the room and immidiatly found his bed, plopping down on it despite the hardness of the ice. He sighed and shifted his weight on the caribu-skin covered area, lying down to face the wall, pulling another thick animal hide up to his chin as a blanket. He sighed and relaxed, letting his body heat warm him from the outside in.
He was tired and wasted no time letting his eyes drift heavily into sleep. His rest was shortlived as Kavik came in soon after, remarking about the sounds of morning. Hoji's eyes snapped open and he glared at the wall, turning over he turned his gaze to the younger boy.
"Dammit shut up! I'm so tired, just be quiet and let me sleep." he growled, his eyes narrowing slightly. He shook his head and turned again to face the wall, greatly annoyed with the younger boy.

Kavik grunted. "Some body's is cranky." Kavik rolled over on his bed and stared out into the window watching the clouds past by. Hoji was asleep and Kavik was feeling tired himself, he closed his eyes and fell into the that same consuming sleep.
*** A little while later, Kokomi came back with a scrolls of waterbending technquies that Kavik could learn while he is pent up. She walk walked into Kavik's bed room he was fast asleep...and drooling on his pillow. It was mid-day and she need to get the boys up and cleaned up, new bandages for both and a bath for Hoji, he reeked of perfume.
Kokomi walked up to Kavik and with one, swift movement she swatted his exposed rear. "Get up Fish Head. I need to do a quick examine for both of you." Kavik woke with a start and stared at Kokomi. "Ga? Whu?" Kokomi walked over to Hoji and shook him. "Get up Hoji I need to do an examine." Hoji didn't awake. Kokomi shook her head. "Kavik wake him up." The boy shook his head. "Gah he'll kill me if I did." Kokomi rolled her eyes. Fine wuss, I will do it the hard way. She dipped a strip of cloth in water and rolled it up and swung hard at Hoji's behind. "RISE AND SHINE!"

Hoji's sleep was relaxing and peaceful, full of nonsense dreams that he wouldn't remember when he woke up, if he ever did. His eyes snapped open as his half-dreaming fantasy of sleeping forever was rudely interrupted by Kokomi's reminder that ice was indeed, an excellent revievant.
He sat up straight, glaring at the now-giggling younger girl. The boy's eyes twitched as he swung his feet over the side of the bed, sending daggers towards Kokomi. "Thanks for that, he muttered, his eyes narrow slits. "I always appreciate being woken up by a nice cold smack to the ass." Hoji said, rolling his eyes and bending a water whip from the side of the ice wall and smacking Kokomi on side, hard enough to bruise.
He yawned, and stretched, surveying the room through slitted eyes. The elder boy noted the sun and then looked outside, thinking about his mother. Jopi was probably worried sick. Hoji shrugged. He would explain once he was home.

Kavik giggled, while Kokomi rubbed her side and cursed. "Nice one Hoji." Kokomi did the various procedures on Kavik and Hoji in turn without mentioning the pain to her side.
"Ok, your wounds are still pretty fresh. But at least they are healing. I've talked to Papa and the Kaeda they said, that you can recover at home in few days. Same with you Hoji. Oh and I think your mother is aware of what happen yesterday and that you are in compentant hands. "Since when are you compentant Ko-chan?" ejaculated Kavik rudely. Kokomi gave Kavik a death glare. "Compentant enough to know how to sow up your liver bait-for-brains." She retorted. Kavik rolled his eyes and murmured something under his breath.
"Anyway, leave you guys alone, if you want to use bathhouse, feel free to give me a hollar." Kokomi pulled something out her satchel. "Papa wanted me to give you this." She toss Kavik stuff bear at him as she would an insult. Kavik immediatly stuffed it under his blankets and shot a look at his sister. Who whispered in Hoji's ear as she passed. "He sleeps with that bear everynight."

Hoji scratched at his bandages on his leg. They were itching slightly and starting to become annoying. He didn't pay attention to either Kavik or Kokomi until the girl threw something that caught his attention. He looked up to see a small brown fuzzy thing fly through the air, only to be hurriedly stuffed out of sight by Kavik. The expression he wore was bemused especailly after hearing Kokomi's remark.
"I think I'll have to change who he sleeps with from now on Ko-chan." he whispered, making sure that only Kokomi could hear him, a blush rising in her cheeks. She giggled and left, casting one last glance into the room before calling out, about halfway down the hall.
"I'll be back in ten minutes with fresh bandages, don't do anything innapropriate while I'm gone!"
Hoji smirked, looking over at the uncomfortable boy across from him. Inappropriate was the furthest thing from his mind.

Kavik blushed hard, the last thing he wanted was Hoji to see Nanuk. He'll never hear the end of it, not mention he was bit nervous with that look in his eye.
Kavik sunk down in his cot hiding his polar bear plush. "So do you wanna go to the bathhouse and clean up? Or want to stay here and stare into obivion?"
Kokomi arrived back with fresh bandages. "Ok Kavik first 'cause he has alot." Kokomi unravled Kavik arm and side and gave a high whisle. "Oooh, man you seriously have it bad, your arm is all swollen and everything but at least your cuts look heathly. I'm going to air those gashes. For a while they need the air." Koko walked over to Hoji. "OK you're next." She removed the itchy bandages from Hoji and replaced them with clean ones. "Ok, I'm going to get some ointment for Kavik's side, be back in two swishes of a koi's tail. You can marvle at your work Hoji while I'm gone." She said with a bit of mirth in her voice.
Kavik looked at his side, with was lined with stitches and they when from his right arm to his right thigh. "Twi's Fins! When you fight you go all out!" Exclamied the young bender.

Hoji sank back into his bedsheets once Kokomi left. "I would rather stay here." Hoji muttered, no real conviction in his voice. He didn't care where he went, he just wanted to relax, something that didn't happen easily in the presence of Kavik.
Hoji glanced over at Kavik, looking over the wounds he had cumulated. He shrugged and then tightened his own bandages. "It's not my fault you're stupid enough to ride on those idiotic skates right onto a pillar of ice spikes." Hoji sighed and leaned back onto the icy wall. He looked at the ceiling, his eyes trailing over the various ridges and grooves in the ceiling.
He was tired, annoyed and incredibly ticked off. Hoji hated being woken up. Especially in the middle of the afternoon. If he had already wasted half the day, why shouldn't he waste the other half? He sighed and turned his gaze to Kavik, now thoughtful instead of annoyed.

"Yeah I am stupid" grunted the longer haired bender distastefully as he stared at the window. Kokomi came back with fresh bandages and ointment. She skillfully wrapped Kavik up tightly now smelling heavly like lemon balm. Kavik moaned and rolled over after she was finished.
"Alright you boys are done, sleep and do whatever." Kokomi left the duo alone a got back to work. Kavik just groaned and stared absently at the window. His body ached all over and his head was pounding too. He pulled his blankets over his head and whined about how it was too bright in here not to mention how bored. "Gah I'm die of cabin fever if we stay here, or worse." He tried to get confortable and push his plush on the floor, Kavik didn't notice but, the thing that he was hiding from Hoji was next to him. Kavik shivered he was starting to feel cold.
