Caiden fell out of his bed and hit the floor hard with a loud thump. He growned and rubbed the place where his head had hit the floor. He stood up and walked over to the window. It was still dark out, nothing could be heard, but the sound of water dripping off of wet ice sicles. He walked over to where he kept his coat and put it on. He creeped out of his room, careful not to wake his mom and down the stairs. Once he was outside, he decided that he would go and practice waterbending. He had nothing else to do and it would be a good time to get some training in. He walked toward the training field, where he and his master would usually practice. When he got there, he saw someone else practicing. He couldn't make out the face, but he could tell that the person was around his age. He walked a little closer and crouched behind a statue.

Raine walked through the icy and snowy streets of Shai City. She always loved the time in the morning when the sun wasn't up, but would soon rise and the whole north pole would be covered in a glossy white light. But the was a little while to wait so she decided to walk around a little bit more.
Raine walked to where the men usaully practiced and trained with water bending. But what caught her eye was the person hiding behind a statue. It looked like the person was watching another person practice. Raine crept from piller to piller and walked up behind the man. She tapped him on the shoulder ,"What are you doing?" She asked.

Caiden jumped and jerked his head around to see a girl not too much older than he was. He didn't know what to say, he had never seen this girl, but then again, there are a lot of people that he has never met in the Northern Water Tribe. "Nothing really," he paused for a moment and then said, "I like this time of the morning, it's always so peaceful and quiet. I decided that it would be a perfect time to come and train for a little while, but when I got here, someone else was already there. Do you know who that is?" He asked pointing toward the bender still trying to stay hidden.

Raine had never met another person that thought this time of day was peaceful. For everyone else it was always too early or too dark or some other escuse. But she was a little pre-occupied with seeing if she knew the bender to notice. Raine tilted her head to the water bender once again. All she saw was a moving shadow with water swirling around it. "Sorry, I don't. Just kinda looks like a shadow-y blob to me." She staring at the mysteriouse bender.
Raine bent down next to..'Wait..I don't even know his name..'She thought . "Hey," She whispered, "I'm Raine," She said holding out her hand.

"Nice to meet you, my name is Caiden," he said taking her hand and shaking it, "I don't think I've ever seen you around here before, but then again, there area lot of people that I've never met. I didn't know that there were other people that came out at this time in the morning. Are you a bender by any chance?" He asked.

Raine smiled, "I am. I have to leave a little while after sunrise for my healing classes." Raine looked around at the pillers and statues as she answered to another one of Caiden's question, " I don't come here often. I used to come a lot to watch my father train before he left, though."

"My father also had to go off to fight in the war. I can hardly remember what he looks like," he said sadly. The sun was finally rising and everything was a shining color of white. "I love this time of the day," he said looking at his surroundings. There was a long silence between the two of them that was broken by a loud splashing noise. "What was that?" He asked. But before she could answer, he realized that it must've came from behind them. He slowly got up and peeked around the corner, only to find that no one was there. "Whoever that person was, they are gone now," he said. "I wonder who that was," he said.

OOC:: Moderator's Note: Both of you, Raine and Caiden, are guilty of the crime of not long enough posts! Please revise. Remember, it's only 150 words.

OOC: Raine, with all due respect, I am quite calm. Oh, and if you are not done with your post, like I presume you weren't, just put "OOC: Not done." at the bottom. That way, I know your posts are fine. Caiden, it's for the actual roleplay as well.

Sure thing, Sakurako ))
Raine shot up at the sound of the water. "I don't see the bender anymore, do you?" Raine asked scanning the area carefully with her eyes. Raine walked for ward and slipped on the ice flipping back wards onto her back. "Oww..That hurt" Raine said rubbing the back of her head. "Note to self: I really have to stop doing for the sake of my head still being intact with my body." Raine layed on the icy ground. Looking at the snow softly landing on top of her. Raine sat up cross legged. "Hey Caiden, who do you think that bender was? And is he or she gone or am I just blind?" Raine asked as she scratched the top of her head and rubbed her eyes.
Raine noticed that she was being coted with more snow. Raine started to whistle. Why? No apparent reason what so ever.

Caiden ran out onto the training field. He almost slipped on the cold hard ice. but managed to keep his balance. "I don't see the bender anymore either and I'm not sure if I know who that person is. It was kind of hard to see who it was in the dark," said Caiden. He looked around the training area, but there was no one there. It was kind of odd for somone to be training one minute and be gone the next. He looked around one more time and then realized that Raine had fallen down on the ice. He rushed over to her and asked, "Are you okay?" He picked her up off of the ice and he asked, "What time was your lesson again?" He asked.

Raine got up with the help of Caiden, "Thanks," She said dusting her self off. "Oh, my class isn't until-," Raine looked up to the sun, "Now!! I have to Caiden, I'll see you around!" She waved/called to him running down th stairs to her healing hut.
Raine slid into the her healing class. "You're late Raine," Her healer teacher , Umi, said crossing her arms and tapping her foot. Raine bowed, "I'm very sorry Umi *San." "That's alight Raine, just try not to be late anymore, ok?" "I won't."
~Time skip~
Umi was sitting down on her knees along with Raine and began her lesson. "Alright Raine, that' very well done, you can go now." Raine got up and bowed, "Thank you Umi San," Raine walked out the exit.
(*'San' in Japanese shows respect to the elders. It's kinda like saying ' Miss' or 'Mrs.' to be polite )

The sun was now high above Caiden's head. He had been practicing for a few hours after Raine had left. After a while, the training field became way too crowded with people for him to do any moves. From kids to adults, they were always passing by without even noticing that he was bending and that they might get hurt if they get hit by one of his moves. Sometimes they would even walk right where he was about to step by accident or carelessness and that would throw his balance off. This made him very frustrated and angry. "I can't get any progress done with all of these people here. I guess I'll just head home for a little while," he said to himself. He left the training field and walked through one of the many busy streets of the Northern Water Tribe. Even though it was crowded, it was the closest route to his house. He pushed and shoved himself through the mass crowd of people that were either buying something from one of the many booths or making small talk with other people. He eventually managed to find his way out of the mass crowd of people. It didn't take him too long to reach his house, it was really close to the street he had just taken. He finally arrived on the street that his house is on. He walked closer to his house, but right when he was about to reach his house, he saw Raine come out of a hut. He assumed that was where she had her healing lessons. "Hey Raine," he said waving at her.
