Nakamura had been to angry to watch where he'd been going apparently. He smashed into a girl, sending them both to the icy ground. "Ow..."
He rubbed his nose, but hardly had time to gather his senses before the girl hauled him off the ground. She rattled off something about a missing girl. Oh, and had he seen her?
He looked at her with as kind a look on his face he could muster. The surprise of being run into by a girl took away much of the anger from the earlier match. "Well..." He thought back through his walk. He'd been down the whole main street, yes...
Let's see... Nothing matching that description through the areas near the training area. Young children weren't allowed near there...
Nothing in the small shops.
Nothing at all.
He looked at her sorrowfully. This could truly be a bad situation for the girl. "I'm sorry miss, but I haven't seen her..."

Raine bit her lip in waiting of his response. "Well if you see her tell her to go to Miss Umi's Healing Hut, ok? She knows where it is. And she goes by the name of Chi-Chi." Raine gave a slight smiled and dashed past the man in search for Chi-Chi.
'I can't believe she's lost!' Raine screamed at her self, 'She's never run off, why would she start now!?'
Raine jumped from the icy side walk on to a boat/ raft and then jumped on to the other side walk. “Chi-Chi!” Raine yelled as she started to slow down and catch her breath. “Where are you!?” ‘I hope Caiden’s having better luck then I am.’ Raine thought to her self breathing heavily. Raine started to walk but slipped on some ice and hit her head on the hard ground. Raine grunted as she held her head. “Stupid Ice!! I hope you die!” She said sitting up.

As the girl took in the news, Nakamura felt sorry for her. As soon as she left, however, she blew up, and that was scary.
Most girls were scary when they wanted to be.
So he needed to look for 'Chi-Chi'? No problem he decided. Or it shouldn't be anyway. He had nothing better to do, considering that he was a failure at waterbending. His heart sank again, but he thrust away his worries. He needed to look for that girl. It wasn't safe for someone that young to be out alone.
He quickly began walking the direction he'd been walking when he stopped to talk to the girl. He looked around in the shops he saw, and saw no sign of the girl.
Strange..., he thought to himself, There aren't many shops here... so where is the girl?
He sighed, and doubled back. Maybe he missed something.

Raine stopped as she fought to once again catch her breath. "Nice," She said breathing normally again, "I lost my five year old cousin in the north pole!" Raine rubbed her temples with the tips of her fingers. She had checked every where. The food stands, the bakeries, the streets, the shore, the alleys. But she couldn't find Chi-Chi. 'Where are you?' Raine thought in her mind.
Raine started walking again, but she had no idea where she would go. Raine stopped and crashed her foot into the ice wall beside her. 'I should have never had left. Now thank to me, Chi-Chi is lost.'
Raine went back home to see if Chi-Chi was there. She checked all the rooms, but Chi-Chi wasn't seen anywhere. Raine started to worry alot now. She went outside and ran to Miss Umi's healing Hut. Miss Umi was teaching a class at the time and Raine had just ran in, "Miss Umi, I lost Chi-Chi. If you see can you please take her home?" "Of course dear, after my class I'll help you look. I hope you find her, Raine." Miss Umi said worried. "Me, too." Raine said heading out.

Nakamura followed the streets he'd passed earlier. WEll, nothing had changed. The girl still was not anywhere to be seen... which was strange. Of all places to get lost, she got lost in BROAD daylight? In the North Pole? There wasn't a way TO get lost...
He started back to the healer's house. She'd said something about that. Maybe the girl had gone back...?
No... if she'd gone back, this would have been avoided a long time ago...
He kept walking. Today was getting complicated. He'd get punished if he wasn't home soon. If the girl wasn't at the healer's, he would have to go home.
As he reached the hut, he saw the girl who'd asked him to help. "Hey!" he called. "I wasn't able to find her..."

Raine looked up, “I haven’t had any luck either,” She stated sadly. Raine collided her fist in to the wall, “Why can’t I find her!?” “Find who?” A voice said coming out of no where. “Chi-Chi..?...” Raine ran up to her and swiped her up into her arms, “Chi-Chi! Where were you!? I was scared half to death!” “You were taking to long so I went to get some food.” Chi-Chi said looking up to Raine with her giant blue eyes while taking a small nibble of a rice ball. Raine sighed, “Just…If you ever think I’m taking too long, make sure you come with me, OK?” Chi-Chi nodded. Raine walked up to the man that had just run in, “Thanks for looking for Chi-Chi,” Raine said with Chi-Chi’s hand in hers, “Though I never caught your name. I’m Raine,” Raine said holding out her free hand to the gentleman in front of her. “And you are?”

As soon as the girl had walked up to Raine, he'd been looking for a way to get away. Not because he wanted to be rude, but because he was extremely shy.
"I-I'm Nakamura." he replied, trying not to stutter to much. The little one had said something about food, and Raine taking too long. How could you take too long in THIS city? It's not BIG enough to take too long...
"Well, um... sorry about not being much help. I'm glad you found her." He really should be getting home, but he didn't want to seem rude, so he stayed until she said he could go.

Raine smiled, “Well, thank you very much for helping. Mw and Chi-Chi have to go. I’ll see you around some time,” Raine said waving to Nakamura. Raine and Chi-Chi walked back to the cave. Raine shut the tunnel door and sealed it with a thick ice layer. After that was finished Raine walked Chi-Chi back to her house, where her mother and father had just arrived home. They said their hellos and their good byes and Raine was on her way home. Raine walked in to the grand court yard in the center of Shai City. There was a large fountain and dozens of ice lilies. The fountain was pouring out water, and also sending out some steam. Raine sat in front of it and looked in to the water. ‘Is this what I am to repeat day after day?’ She thought holding her knees to her chest, ‘Will I ever leave here? I want to travel. I want to explore the Earth Kingdom.’ Raine sighed and hid her face in her knees.

Nakamura smiled and waved goodbye. He walked back down the streets. Strange girl...
As he arrived home, he was pelted with snowballs. His sister and her friends no doubt. He looked up to see the culprits; yes, they were her friends. He laughed. "Better run!" They all laughed and started running, but they got pelted thanks to Nakamura's waterbending. It became a 20 vs. 1 situation, with Nakamura losing considerably. After a while, they were completely white with snow. Nakamura waterbended it off of them, so their parents wouldn't get angry, and walked inside. His father was waiting.
"What took you so long?"
He smiled sheepishly. "A girl named Raine lost track of her cousin, Chi-Chi. I helped look for her."
His dad grinned. "Ok. How was waterbending?"
Gandalan's face sank. "Don't wanna talk about it."
His dad looked at him knowingly. "You lost to him again, didn't you?"
Nakamura sighed. "I'm going to help mom with dinner."
His dad returned the sigh. "Fine."
Nakamura walked into the kitchen.

Raine sighed and looked up at the sky. ‘It’s almost night fall,’ she thought to her self getting up and dusting her self off.
The night sky filled with stars. The moon, as well as the stars, reflected their light on to the small, drifting pieces of snow. Raine walked back to Miss Umi’s Healing Hut and got her cloak. She folded it up in her arms and walked out through the exit. “I wonder where Caiden got off to,” She said to her self walking through her front door. “Raine is that you?” Her mother asked. Raine walked to the study and stood in the door way. “Yes Mother,” She replied. “You want some thing to eat, Hun?” Raine mother asked looking over to her. “No,” Raine started, “I think I’m just going to go to bed.” Raine’s mother looked back to her book, “Alright, dear. Have a good night.” “You, too.” Raine said walking in to her room.
Raine changed in to her night wear and collapsed on her bed. Raine pulled her sheets and blankets over her head and drifted in to her dreams.

After dinner, Nakamura lay in his bed, resting his head on his hands, both behind his head. He sighed. Tommorrow, he didn't have to go to training... but he felt like he should at lest practice, or he'd be farther behind the others than he already was.
He thought of what had happened that day. The training had been terrible, and although he'd helped a girl find her cousin, it had still put a shadow on the whole day. Dinner had been less than amazing, although he didn't dare tell his mother that.
His sister and her friends were still playing even as he tried to get to sleep. Amazing that they could stay up so late so efortlessly.
He turned over, trying to blot out to noises so he could catch some sleep. It didn't work well, but it worked well enough. He fell into a restless sleep.

Raine’s eyes fluttered open as she gradually sat up in her bed. She stretched her arms and gave out a yawn. Raine looked out her window to see the sun. It was shining high above the clouds. “I slept in ‘til noon?” Raine said semi-surprised, “Thank the Gods’ there’s no healing class today!” She said getting up.
Raine went to use the bath room, and then brushed her hair, though it wasn’t very easy since her hair was curly. She rinsed out her mouth and washed her face. Soon after, she walked out of the bath room in her new clean clothes and walked in to the kitchen where her mother was making tea. “Good Morning, Hun,” Her mother said placing a cup of green tea in front of her and Raine. Raine grabbed a muffin from the basket on the table and added some honey in her tea. “Thanks, Mom,” Raine said taking a sip.

Nakamura rose late, having nothing to do that day. He walked from his room to the bathroom, and washed his face. After that, he went to the kitchen for a brunch. After all, it was noon or so.
He ate his normal bread and egg sandwich and had some coffee to drink. Coffee was God's gift to the world. Warm, great taste, AND it woke you up. Useful drink.
Then, he got fully dressed in his normal clothes and his parka, and walked outside. He planned to wander around until he got somewhere where he could practice waterbending alone. As he walked around, he watched the people walking around buying things, exchanging gossip, and in general doing lots of nothing, making play like it was something quite important.
Life is dull... he thought, before he turned down another street.

Raine finished her break fast and walked out side. She had put on her cloak and had gotten a sketch pad and a few sticks of charcoal before she had left and she shut the door behind her. Raine walked down the icy roads to where the boys and men practiced their water bending. Raine sat down against a pillar and folded her legs. That area had a perfect view of the main entry way to the Northern Water Tribe. How the light shined on the ice, and how the water glowed white amazed Raine. She looked down and began to sketch, on her sketch pad. She knew there were no classes today so she wouldn’t have to get up and leave anytime soon. Raine smiled and continued drawing.

As he continued walked around, he noticed that he'd been going the wrong way. Not that he was going anywhere specific, but that the direction that he'd been going was simply in general more populated. There wasn't anywhere private over there.
As he was about to round a corner to turn around, he saw the girl from yesterday. She was dressed the same as she had ben yesterday, or almost the same. She was drawing something with a sticks of charcoal.
He didn't want to be seen and cause a hubbub in front of the whole community, so he did his best to walk silently around her.
