As Amir announced their entrance the the Sen Song Camp, Raine looked at all the exotic animals. Never had she seen such things except in her little mishap with at Zhi.
"Amir, you finally decided to show up..........Wait, who are they?" Raine heard the one called Lakshmi say. Raine opened her mouth to introduce her self but Amir beat her to it, introducing the two girls. Raine gave a slight wave to Lakshmi. "You must be..Lakshmi?" Raine presumed, " Amir told me you're the one who cooks for the camp. If you need any help with any cooking of cleaning, I'm here."
Raine held in a large laugh and covered her mouth only letting a small giggle out. She watched as Amir was being hugged and tugged and pulled in to hugs by his mother.
When Soraya asked where the wanted to sit, Raine said, "Any where's fine."

"Good. You are going to have to sit on the ground or in the hammocks because Lakshmi and her large stomach takes up most of the table." Soraya said, smiling. She motioned toward the hammocks, glad that she was old enough to sit at the "adult table" instead of having to be moved over because she was still considered a child. Lakshmi glared at the back of her younger sister's head as she heard her remark about her belly. "Your time will come also, Sorie dear." she said simply as she walked toward both of the water tribe girls, her eyes narrowed.
"I do not need help. I have been doing fine without help." Lakshmi continued, answering Raine's offer to help. She scowled slightly as she looked both girls over. "You aren't from around here." she remarked before turning around to face Amir and grabbing him by the shoulder.
"You are going to help me serve the food." she muttered, glaring at him as if a warning if he dared to talk back. He nodded, knowing better than to argue with his older sister when she seemed to be this moody. Dragging him along by the shoulder, Lakshmi finally reached the fire and brushed her hands on her light green dress before turning to Amir and muttering, "The taller one better not be another one of your girlfriends. If she is, Ma is going ot kill her or scare her away."
Amir tilted his head slightly as his sister let go of his shoulder and began picking up the pitas which were filled with rice of some sort. She placed them on a wooden try that was laying near the stove. "Ma won't find out. And she isn't one of my girlfriends. . . . .Yet, I mean." Amir said, smirking. Lakshmi rolled her eyes and handed the tray which was covered with pita.
"If I were you, I would keep her far away from Ma. Maybe take her and the other girl somewhere right after lunch. I hear Soraya and Hassan are taking the kids swimming in the lake. They probably will like that."
"But Lakshmi, I can't swim."
"They don't know that." was all Lakshmi said before pushing him toward the girls and Soraya, tray in his arms. He looked over at Lakshmi who motioned for him to keep walking. He sighed and finally walked far enough so he was infront of the girls and Soraya.
"Would you two like to go swimming in the lake after we are done eating?" Amir asked, forcing a smile and trying to seem like he liked the idea though inside he was hoping they would say no.

After seeing Lakshmi's eyes narrow, Lin felt a small rise of anger inside. That was rude... she thought. For about a second or two, her fist clenched, but she decided to calm down, control her temper, and relax her fingers. No, don't let it out unless she's being absolutely rude to you, and you only, Lin... she thought to herself.
When Amir asked them both if they would like to go swimming, Lin decided to wait after Raine's reply again. But Lin didn't really want to swim, considering she'd rather meditate on a rock or something like that. Or at least waterbend. But fear of getting in trouble or something, she was going to wait until Raine waterbends first. Lin likes to check if things are safe at first. After all, the last time she was drenched in water was when she was under attack.

Raine chuckled at Soraya's "comment" to her sister. " The ground and hammocks are fine." Then, Raine soon got her reply from Lakshmi. She didn't mind being rejected to help but after the last little bit : "You aren't from around here..." And with a scowl , too! Raine felt a bit.... . What would the word be? Shocked? Well shocked at the least. Raine didn't like the fact that some, almost most, people were predigest. Not all people are bad. Raine just let it hide away in her mind. As Amir asked if the two girls would like to go swimming Raine didn't know what to say. Amir was acting strangely, and Lin was staying quiet. Did I miss something? Raine thought as she looked to Lin then Amir. "Umm.. Well it really doesn't matter to me. I should be heading back after lunch anyways." Raine said not knowing whether to say yes or no.

"Aw, come on, it will be fun. Just tell the people you work for some family came to town or something of that sort. They won't miss you, Kei Lan is a very boring town a good percentage of the time. The flower shop is probably even more boring since no men these days actually care enough to get their girl flowers." Soraya said, grabbing a pita from the tray in Amir's arms and rolling her eyes. Amir glared at his sister, wishing she would not embarrass him in front of two girls by going on and on about how men treated their girls these days. She winked at him in return and took a large bite of her pita. That alone should have warned Amir that his sisters were plotting something but he was never the type of person who read into these kind of things.
Soraya reached for another pita and tossed one to Raine and one to Lin, not really looking at either of them as she did so. She wore a slight smirk on her face as she took another bite of her pita and chewed, staring off into the distance, clearly deep in thought. Suddenly, her face lit up and she swallowed her pita, a smile appearing on her lips.
"I know! We can start walking to the lake now! We can eat along the way since Amir was gracious enough to bring us these pitas. Then, we can finish eating on the way there and get to swimming faster. It is a very hot day after all." Soraya said, her pale green eyes full of excitement as she waved her half finished pita in the air. Amir glared at his older sister as she made this proclaimation. She knew he couldn't swim, why was she trying to make him? Was this some kind of sick plot his sisters had cooked up?
"It'll be fun, wouldn't it, Amir?" Soraya continued, nudging her younger brother in the side and smiling even wider. He shot her a glare in return, still trying to figure out what she was plotting. "Oh yes. Loads of fun." he muttered, his voice full of sarcasm. Soraya elbowed him in the gut once more and whispered in his ear, "If you don't do this, your precious 'Raine-chan' will probably leave to go back to work. Is that what you want?".
Amir sighed, giving up. His sister had a point. Today was one of those sad days where his sisters were one step ahead of him. He shot her one more glare before finally saying, "I guess it would be okay." But when Soraya turned away and focused all of her attention on Raine and Lin, muttered under his breathe, "Women. So annoying.".

". . ." Lin stayed silent. She caught the pita that Soraya tossed in her palms, almost missing the catch. As Soraya was talking on, Lin too, noticed how Amir was acting a bit strange. She also noticed how Soraya was elbowing him. Was he trying to impress Raine? It's very possible, after all. She heard Amir mutter, "Oh yes. Loads of fun," in a sarcastic matter. She saw Soraya whisper in his ear. Lin had a feeling she was trying to help Amir try to make Raine stay. I wonder why... Lin thought. She waited for Raine's response to Soraya's idea.
Lin's eyes wandered off into the distance, trying to think. Should she leave while they are swimming? Or just stay for the heck of it? When Soraya turned to them, Lin heard Amir mutter something to himself.

Raine pondered over the question again.." Well. . . I don't know." Raine reached to the side and caught the pita as it was thrown, kinda , toward her. Raine listened to Soraya as she spoke to them as Raine wripped off a small piece of the pita and tossed it in her mouth. Soraya didn't look like she would like to take 'no' as an answer. Raine looked over to Lin. Well not over kind of, down-ish over. Raine leaned over a bit to Lin and said, "What do you think? Should we take the offer?" Raine couldn't help but to feel a little un easy. She barely knew these people and yyet, they were inviting her for lunch, and to go swimming, and all she did was ponder over questions feeling uneasy. Raine thought she would just wait to see what Lin wanted to do.

"We don't bite." Soraya remarked, crossing her arms across her chest as she looked at Raine intently. She frowned slightly, wondering why the girls seemed so uneasy around the Sen Song. They were a very happy though not especially bright, people and did not intend on hurting girls, well, everyone except for Amir and his younger brother by a year Vishnu who got some kind of pleasure out of dumping girl after girl, both of them having little respect for women. But to Soraya, Raine seemed like the perfect girl to shape up Amir and his ways which many looked down on. It was not giving the Sen Song a good name at all.
Amir glared at his sister out of the corner of his eye as he grabbed a pita from the tray and took a bite, chewing slowly. "Lakshmi does." he said after swallowing his large bite of pita, smirking. "I HEARD THAT, AMIR!!!!" a shrill female voice called from the table where all of the adult members of the Sen Song were eating. Soraya lightly hit Amir in the arm though she was smiling.
"I know Soraya and Lakshmi may seem scary but I am not like them." Amir said, winking at both the girls before taking yet another bite of his pita. He wiped his mouth with his sleeve and sighed after swallowing yet another bite.
"Is Vishnu coming?" he asked Soraya in a low voice. She nodded and replied, "He is considered one of the kids.". A angry sigh escaped the lips of the acrobat as he shifting his posture slightly, dreading going swimming even more than before.

Lin turned her head to Raine. "Well, it doesn't really matter, does it?" she paused for a moment, "And don't you think that Amir is acting a bit... strange?" she whispered. Lin faced forward and took a small bite of her pita. When Soraya talked to them, she saw her frown slightly. Why? Did Raine seem a bit uneasy? Well... it was a strange moment. Amir acting strange, Raine being uneasy, and Lin being silent and off to the side... as usual.
But her own opinion of their offer did question her. True, Lin hardly knew any of these people around her. She stared into the distance again and thought for a moment, waiting for Raine's reply. Now Lin began to feel the uneasiness of this situation. She heard Amir muttering something to Soraya, then heard him sigh. Why was that? She couldn't really hear what he said because she wasn't really paying attention.

Raine listned to Lin's reply. And when she asked if Raine had noticed Amir acting strange, Raine gave a nod. Raine straightened up remembering her manners. As Amir gave his opinion on whether or not his sisters bite or not, Raine smiled. She nodded to the Sen Songs. " I would be happy to come along. Perhaps it'll be fun," Raine said finishing off the statement with a slight tilt to the head and a nervous grin. As Raine had just finished her pita, Yes, she was a fast eater, Raine gently clenched one of her hand and placed the other one on top in front of her chest and bowed to wards to adult figures sitting at the table, " Thank you for the food. It was delicious." Raine said rising from her bowing position. Raine once again leaned in close to Lin. " I hope you don't mind going for a swim."

Soraya all but shrieked with joy when Raine said she would go swimming with them. She grabbed another pita from the tray and began shaking it at the two girls as she spoke. "Oh! It is going to be so much fun! My older brother Hassan is already at the lake with Vishnu and all of the kiddes." the female acrobat said, continuing to shake her pita before taking a bite. Amir rolled his eyes and groaned as he thought about the wonderful time ahead of them.
"Can we just go?" he asked, motioning toward the path which lead deep into the forest. Soraya nodded and picked up yet another pita and stuffed it into Amir's open mouth, smirking. Then, she began walking toward the forest, humming as she did so. "Well, hurry up then! We need to get there before the parents find out that we are leaving so early." she said before beginning to walk quickly toward the path. When she looked over at Amir and found he was standing glued to his spot, tray of pitas still resting in his hands, she rolled her eyes and walked back toward him.
"Come on, you." she said before beginning to pull her younger brother toward the path. Amir sighed angrily and looked over his shoulder at the two girls, hoping that they would come along so Soraya would stop bugging him.

"I don't see why not," Lin replied to Raine. She took another small bite of her pita, only about halfway through. Well, actually, she wasn't going to swim. Maybe meditate or waterbend a little, but maybe that's about it. She didn't really favor swimming, after having a bad experience. She almost drowned from freezing cold water back up North, after accidentally falling in as a very young child. Now she only goes into water that she is able to stand in and breathe air at the same time.
When Soraya put a pita in Amir's open mouth, Lin tilted her head a bit. If I had a sister like that, I'd push her into the river... Lin thought. She began to walk forward, following Soraya and taking another small bite of her pita.

Raine followed Lin, Amir and Soraya, who was leading the way. Raine had only a few times up at the North Tribe. Once, when she was little ,about seven years old maybe, she was dared to jump into the channels and that's how she learnt how to swim; Second, Raine, was about twelve, and she jumped in after a gold piece in the water; the forth time was jst out of random; and the third time was when she was with Nakamura-kun. Good times...
As Raine was walking behind the three she really looked into all the nature here. Up North all they had was a resticted area where there were plants like this; and of course some ice lilies here and there. But here; there were so many wonderful things to looks at: Birds flying, flowers blooming.. It's amazing. Raine put her hands behind her back and held onto her forearms with her hands, as she continued to walk.

As Soraya pressed onward, walking quicker than everyone else, Amir slowed down a bit, so he could walk with Raine. Trying to seem as casual and smooth as possible, the acrobat pretended to be very interested in a bird that was flying above them and gradually backed up so he could see it better. He took a bite of the pita Soraya had put in his mouth, moving his hands so one hand was firmly grasping the tray while the other was holding the pita. Swallowing the large bite he took, Amir sighed. This was not going to be a pleasant experience. Amir was horrible at swimming and simply did not want to try to learn after a traumatizing experience in which he was pushed into the lake and Soraya had to jump in and save him since the rest of his family thought he was faking it. Ever since then, Amir gave up on swimming, his excuse being, "Swimming is for little Water Tribe girls."
He frowned as he walked beside Raine. He really did not want to embarrass himself in front of her. She had already seen him just when he woke up which is always a scary sight to behold. Amir was not really interested in her seeing him struggle to swim, even in the shallow waters of the lake. He sighed and took another bite of his pita. What was he to do? He would look bad if he backed out of swimming since he was the one who suggested it and he really didn't not want to leave Raine alone, near his younger brother Vishnu who was famous for how many girls he could be seeing at one time without them knowing it. The acrobat scowled as he continued to walk beside Raine. Damn Vishnu. He should know Raine is out of his league. I don't think she goes for pigheaded morons. he concluded, taking yet another bite of his pita, finally finishing it.
"Do you want another pita?" he asked Raine, tilting his head slightly. He grabbed one from the tray, that pita being one out of the two still left on the tray. He looked over at Lin and asked the same thing, "Hey! Lin-san, do you want another pita?". Soraya motioned for him to give the pita to her since neither of the girls seemed to be responding but he shook his head, defiantly. "You are the one who got me into this mess. There is no way I am giving you the last pita." he muttered to Soraya as she began to walk slower so she could take a pita. The female acrobat rolled her eyes and scowled. "Some thanks I get for helping you." she muttered in return then she began to walk faster.
"Pick up the pace, kiddies! I don't think Hassan and Vishnu are going to like it if we take too long!" Soraya called over her shoulder before she started to walk even faster.

Lin finished off the rest of her pita. When Amir offered another, she just shook her head a bit. But what if the water is deep for her and the others notice that she isn't with them, and just sitting on a rock with her legs crossed and eyes closed? Ah, well... if they'd ask, she wouldn't respond anyhow.
She heard Soraya call back to them, telling them to hurry. Lin decided to walk a little faster to be directly behind Soraya along the way. She looked up to the sky, clearly in deep thought. The inviting over for lunch and swimming too, was a bit quick for her. They didn't get to know each other a lot that much and... it just seems odd. She looked at the green natures around them, feeling the warm breeze.
